As a chinese person, my best guess as to why the chinese kit was removed is because our country’s colour is red and most of not all of our sports kits are red as it represents our country

I think its mainly because the chinese kit looks very similar to the malaysian kit which uses similar color scheme inspired by the malayan tiger. It is probably not true but hey a guy can dream.
