If you don't already have one, I reckon you deserve an honourary degree in the history and geography of Scotland. Can't believe how much content you put out and the quality! Keep it up big man.
Real craftsmanship that still stands so proudly but new builds rot and fall away so quickly. How hard those old times would have been, yet life would have moved so much slower. A real wee community nestled in the hills....love it ❤️🏴
I live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, about a 35 minute ferry ride from Seattle, and it sounds like the sun sets for us at similar times during this time of year! I love it, but it takes some getting getting used to for people that are new to the area, that come from parts of the U.S. where there's more light during late Fall, and Winter. Similar to Scotland, we get a lot more light during Spring and Summer. The sun sets somewhere between 9:30pm-11pm.
That small round circle might have been for grain storage. I bet a bunch of cottages and houses nearby have stone from those buildings as part of their structure.

Yes it's amazing to find places like that almost lost and forgotten in a wee Scottish glen 🏞️🏴😇
