I think if Liu Xiao is represented by the Bishop, he is not as powerful as he may sound. In fact, in Chess, Bishops can only move diagonally on either white or black squares, potentially meaning that he has a blind spot we just don't know yet. Xia Fei being the pawn may seem like he's a tool to be disposed of, but I personally think that Xia Fei might be the most important character out of all of them. When a pawn is given enough support and backing and reaches the other side of the board, it will become a Queen, a piece capable of moving any direction it desires or the most powerful piece. And, from what it seems, the pawn is well over the half way point. As it is now, we can also deduce that Cheng Xiaoshi and Vein are equal in strength, given their mutual chess motif.
Excellent additional analysis on the chess metaphor~ I am hoping that Liu Xiao might also not be as powerful as he presents himself to be. The true overpowered one is Xia Fei... as long as he stays alive to get promoted... which I believe will happen! 😤

The opening song the eye remind me of Emma arc like how Chen keep trying to save emma even though it's impossible,LG trying to save him there are two possible ending either LG fails to bring Chen like how they fail to save emma and,have to move on or somehow he did managed to save chen.

Since Liu Xiao's shown to be a manipulator, maybe he can see the parallel timelines and Xia Fei can enter them through his photos. That's how Liu Xiao can manipulate fate. I hate the idea of Lu Guang diving back to the past over and over again just to fail. Speaking of powers, since Lu Guang went back in time, does he still have the omniscient view in the photo? And since he has stayed more than 12 hours by now, is his view moving along with the current timeline? Is that why he's constantly looking at his watch to see if there's a difference between his current reality vs what his powers are showing?
