The W900's are very elegant and very nice. I saw a couple at a truck stop that I ate my first meal of the day today. It was a sight to have been seen.
Yes Sir... The King Of The Road. Beautiful
if i was ever gonna buy my own truck this is the exact one i’d buy.
Nice truck Andy. Love the way you always show the details and explain why. Lots of add-ons and extras go over looked and you help shed light on these areas. Great paint. I want this same paint pattern but in a red instead of the plum, but that plum is an awesome looking color. I know the Kenworth W900L hoods slope up and the stripes go straight back so that makes it look like the truck is not straight. It can be a bit of an optical illusion. It especially makes it look like the cab and bunk air bags are deflated. This is my dream truck as it sets with just a few minor changes. A W900L is the "ONLY" truck I have ever wanted to own. Just make it 295 on the wheelbase, a little more chrome and chicken lights, a No DEF glider and a "COUCH". Hope you have more W900L's coming in the future. Love the "EYE CANDY". Thanks Andy.
Thanks for commenting! It sure is a nice truck. Certainly more can be done with it but this customer likes simplicity. See y on the next video!!
Why u put DEF tank on passenger side of truck when most times DEF pump is on driver side at truck stop
Customer preference.
Good point. All the big truckstops have DEF pumps on driver side
True but he fills up at his shop in Winnipeg.
I noticed that instantly too
Beautiful. Can you tell me what the weight is on this truck please.
Thank you. I went to truck driving school, and ended up at Steven's Transport, but type 2 diabetes got in the way.
Wow that truck almost has everything I want in a W900. I would have liked the additional cab wind fairings on the side, running bars on the fuel tank that line up with the steps, matching tool box/step combo and the Fancy Sears(sp?) seats.
That color is amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Isn’t it! Thanks for watching!
Definitely a great looking truck. Glad he went with a manual transmission.
Talk about good looking...The owner has great taste. What a beautiful truck.
Thank you for the video tour!
Thanks for watching!!!
I love the old style trucks, they are awesome 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Beautiful truck someday I might be able to get one always love kenworth and this one is right up my alley
Sweet. Thanks for watching Robert
Eyes blinding chrome real beauty
Put mirrors on the ceiling in the sleeper and maybe a stripper pole in it
It needs 10 more gauges in the dash, I would like to know tire temperature, chrome temperature, and paint temperatures. And most important coolant level gauge, so every 10 years when it springs a coolant leak I want to know. Each gauge have its own distinct audible noise so you don’t have to search every one. And it plays the Stars and Stripes when you turn the ignition key on. Offer every potential owner a pair of chrome safety boots, and a 20% discount at a nationwide dental practice, for chrome capping on your teeth, so when you smile, you are at one with your truck. Best wait for the 2022 model in November, these shortcomings will be addressed.
That would have to he a lot lizard pole, not a stripper pole.
Now that is a beautiful combination of colors and all! A lot of attention to detail on this truck. My coworker would love this truck. Purple is her favorite color and she would be like 😍. Thanks again for sharing and posting. Have the Worlds Best weekend!
Will do Wayne. Thanks for watching. Nothing finer than a W niner.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy
That's right, regardless if it's a/the 900 or the 990! 🙂
Truth☝🏻
Beautiful Truck !! Just missing some lights on the Cans , Skirts and of course top row up on the bunk.
And NO ! You should not be able to order that truck with an Automatic 😂😂
Light do dress it up a little more but in this case my customer thinks less is more! Thanks for watching
What about a 7x4 and two speed drives
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy yes, looks so clean, should have painted the air cleaner straps to follow the scheme though. But at night, well, it's just any other W9. Beautiful trucks look twice as nice all lit up. Plus the Canadian winter is so, so dark, a lot of opportunities to show off, eh:)!
Sure is eh!
I'm not a huge fan of the paint color but that is beautiful paint job. Very nice truck. Bells and whistles for days.
Hermosa la más grande belleza me fascina es magistral esa tractomula o tracto camión es algo fuera de serie bien pirinola como la W 900L no hay dos
Love all the light inside the cab. Great machine.
Nothing finer than a W niner. Thanks for watching!
Definitivamente es el carro que me trasnocha después de un W 900L no hay nada es la más poderosa y la más linda la más bella es el modelo más tradicional y más hermosa que existe
That's an amazing ride wow spec just right
You bet! Thanks for watching!!
will you do a video on all the different colors and features you can get in the trucks
Sure. Stay tuned.
Really like this. I think if it had Seatle pkg it would be intense. That black one with red tanks and Seattle pkg with matching painted dash is awesome
Y'all remember when merle haggard, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, etc made trucking cool?
Pepperidge farms remembers!
Yea that kw was fucking bad ass
990?? No! Lol
Mmm 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌
That guy knows how to spec a truck
A beautiful truck with a lot of attitude, this is Kenworth rules. Greetings Andy, have the world best day ✌
Thanks for watching Rodney. Have The World’s Best Day!
What puzzles me is why everyone refers to Kenworth Trucks by Fake designations but almost no one refers to Peterbilts by their fake designations. A few examples of fake designations would be W900L & T800W, 389-131 and 567-121 SFFA
Perfect! Eye for detail is correct
Kind of a short wheelbase! Really like the paint!
has to be to run manitoba
Hi Andy, that purple is awesome! It is really sad those trucks are mostly useless in Europe, mean most part of clients are difficult to get to on regular eurotruck hooked with 13.6m long semy.In Portugal, Spain,Italy and France you just woun't be able to pass some villages too.Vid is good and informative,as always!Keep them going!👍👍👍👍👍
All the best to you and your family!😊
I only know European trucks, and don;t normally give an American a second look..but this looks really nice. You are spoiled over there for sleeping space. Nice review..Liked
Thanks. I’m from Canada 🇨🇦 by the way. 😎
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy me too
este kenworth w900 es una belleza de trailer.recorriendo caminos y carreteras a nivel nacionsl e intrnacional es muy comodo manejar es kenworthw900
Damn why would he go with the Kenworth ag400? I have that on my 2006 gravel truck worse suspension ever made
Be nice if Cat still made motors for transports. 3406e had a sweet sound to it.
That was a great engine for sure.
Andy that truck is BAD ASS my friend
Nothing finer than a W niner.
Nice!! Little longer WB would be perfect very nice colors
Thanks for watching Jeff.
OMG!! 👍ANDY !!! TOTALLY AWESOME RIDE!! BEAUTIFUL COLOR!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!
Nothing finer than a W niner. Thanks for watching Stevie
Fun game, take a drink every time Andy says "uh". I counted 99. Anyway, nice truck.
Hahah wow.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy Great video Andy, I'm not knocking you at all, I just found it funny.
No worries. I’m a little rough around the edges when it comes to speaking. Lol
Real truck
How can we buy a kenworrh or Pete in Canada as they allow a max of 244 inch wheelbase
Gorgeous rig 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Stunning truck 👍👍 absolutely gorgeous colors. How much extra money is spent to get it as it sits here?!
We didn’t do the work so not sure. I would ballpark around 10-15 grand.
Really love the colors its a nice w900 i would change the def tank to the left and change the seat to a sear atlas but beside that its a sharpe truck
Thanks for watching.
that is a great looking truck
So tfue
Nice truck and video but being f om WPG and in trucking for near 20 years this is the first I have seen EBD buying anything but a Peterbilt since the family used to own the dealership as well as the Harley Davidson and Mercedes dealers. Maybe things have changed not sure. How are the X15 Cummins holding up long term can they do at least a million km's without overhaul or dropped liners etc. Finally the company I worked for as a broker a couple of brothers bought five of the Paccar powered units back around 2013 and had nothing but trouble including engine failure as well as reliability before ditching them, have the Paccar engines improved since then. Thanks for the honest opinions.
The family still owns the Pete and Mercedes dealerships. The Kenworth product is a quality built truck and they see that. The X15 has been “bulletproof”
👍😉. Awesome truck. 👍😉 why nobody paint/chromes ends of def tank. ?
I love all of your videos. I know you are the kenworth guy, but a question I have tried to find an answer to is can you order or do they make the new freightliner cascadia with a manual transmission? Or does kenworth make a Murphy bed option like the cascadia that has a table and two chairs under the lower bunk? I really like that setup.
Is that a show/reward truck for EBD? That seems excessive even for their fleet of B-train pullers. I guess the driver must run a lot of BC or the 17 in Ontario.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that when reading comments you lose your place when a commercial pops up? They wanna make sure you don’t read the comments during the commercial!! Wtf! Extreme control freaks! Love this truck. I must had not listened...what will the owner use this truck for?
Super b use.
nice w900 there looking real good
Oh yeah. Thanks for watching
It's totally awesome!!! Really great truck 👍
Thanks for watching!
Has everyone put an automatic on the floor so you could keep the stick?
I have one of 2014 ... and I love this new version ... except that the panel is still very simple for a truck that year, they should add new things
I love the W900 it was my first truck with the 86” studio but after driving a Volvo 780 I really love the huge table with booth seating and how it folds down to make a big bed. Any way to get that custom ordered in a W900?
Would be a total aftermarket modification. Would love to do it once for someone.
Good video! Beautiful truck. So customized on the outside. But why order black interior? Personal taste sure. But you can't see any detail. I understand that's your customer so what can you say? But I think most would prefer the convertible couch and any other color. On the KW side those new gauges and dashboard have no character. Might as well use a monitor display.
My preference personally is the black interior. You can add the Seattle package and change out the buttons to match the truck color which can look awesome.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy I guess it comes down to personal preferences. I do like your channel. Keep it up. I used to drive a K100 with my dad back in the 80's. Good memories.
Thanks for watching
I love that colour !!!
It’s pretty sweet
The Kenworth Guy Yeah, makes her pop ! Great contrast against the chrome.
Beautiful!
Thanks for watching!!
Grate trucks I hope to buy one from you one day.
Sounds great.
Nice truck Andy!!
Sure is. Thanks for watching David.
Thanks sharing Andy.
You are very welcome
Thanks for sharing this beautiful rig. I wish you would’ve shown footage of you or the owner driving it. I want to hear the exhaust and Jake Brakes (even though it won’t be as loud as the pre-def rigs).
won't sound like anything, drove a factory ISX 600hp for 4 years, sounded and felt like nothing. The engine had no character. The Jake won't slow the truck down much more than a strong gust of wind either! Later on we fixed the engine. No more issues, and the Jake was nice and strong. So much more controllable on the steep hills. I can't believe Cummins would compromise a driver's safety like that.
Well done video and truck 👍🏻
Thanks for watching driver.
I m thinking about buying my first truck but i m confused between t660 and w900 i have seen one 900 online 2017 300000 miles cummins isx 550 for $120000 Would it be good choice to get that w900 as my first truck? Any advice would be appreciated.
Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Hello!!
Gorgeous rig.
Thanks for watching
Why can't they make the bed like a futon? One mattress that folds up into a couch position
We have the option available in the 72 or the 86 sleepers.
You should get that as a Glider for less problems on the engine👌🏼✌🏼
The X15 is quote reliable.
The Kenworth Guy is it more reliable this ISX than the past engines? Ive heard bad comments about the ISX from 07-2016
The X 15 is far better
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy we'll only know that in about 10 years;)
@@alanis26 yes, the ISX had issues, then the 1st generation DEF engines had troubles on top of that. From what i understand, you can't put an engine any older than 2013 in a Canadian Glider. You'd have to check to make sure. Otherwise, 3406/C15 pre emission hardware Cat is the way to go. Caterpillar is still using a variation of those engines in heavy equipment in 2019!
Awesome truck mine its 2006 and I still love it but that one its awesome 2020
Thanks for watching!
Great looking truck! 👍👍👍 Just 1 thing missing - 7” stacks. 😁 Same headlights on mine as well. They heat pretty well up here in north AB.
The purpose of the 5” stack is to keep it looking old school. I hear what you’re saying but this customer knows what he wants. Thanks for watching Anton.
The Kenworth Guy
Makes sense.
He's going to have trouble with that Paccar fuel filter, for sure!
Stretch the frame to 290 inches. More lights. Full frame deck.
PERFECT TRUCK
100%
Can you still get the old style flat top sleeper not the areocab
Only in the 40”
Cnulada De w900 bonito colors 👍👍👍
Looks like the exhaust off the turbo is dented in
Nope, it’s notched on purpose. Good eye though.
What is the curb weight of this truck???
Great videos and I’m now a subscriber. I just retired last year after 22 years as a first responder. Ready to start my 2nd career. Two questions, is it possible for a guy like me to become a salesman in this industry? My last question is, if I wanted to be an owner operator how on earth does one finance something like this? I can’t imagine just anyone can get a loan for such a thing? How long are the loans on a big rig like this? Hopefully not 3 to 6 years like a normal vehicle? Hahahaha. Holy crap that the truck is beautiful. I’ve always loved these big rigs and aircraft! If I could own two things it would be this truck and an old school Bell helicopter. Lol. We can all dream right? Thanks for the video and any information you may share with me. Take care.
Hey Adam. You can do whatever you put your mind to. You wanna be a salesman go for it. You wanna be a truck driver and owner operator go for.
Nice video Andy
Thanks for watching Sergio.
My mom is looking for a mega sleeper... do you ever get any w9s with sleepers that have a shower and kitchen?
I haven’t ever had one here.
The 86" studio is awesome. I put 1.3 million miles in mine and can appreciate it. The problem with KW is the dash; It has those sunk-in KW gauges, which I am not a fan of, and only room for 20 of them. Pete 389s have 23 old school gauges if you are into that kind of thing... I am. This truck has the problematic fuel filter on it. They stopped putting those on the Petes this year. The X15 with "605 hp and 2050 tq" puts down way less than advertised. Expect 505 to the back tires, but it pulls like 305... seriously. The older ISX set at 600hp puts down 550 to the tires. Also, the X15 gets TERRIBLE fuel economy as compared to the older ISX. It is a better designed engine with fewer sensors to go bad, but you will suffer when it comes to fuel economy. How do I know this? First hand knowlege my friend, I am sporting an X15 these days...
Have Cummins check the programming. I have customers who are extremely happy with power and fuel economy on their X15. The ISX has the carbon packing issues which caused major problems. The X15 is getting great reviews from my customers. Running 565 or 605
LOVER THE W900 I wish wish I had the money I got a W900 in my head I dont know if kenworth can do legendary blue it's a peterbilt paint but this truck inside I want the black and the wood dash fully loaded chrome it out and lights inside and out
Kenworth will do pretty much any color you can think of.
KW interiors like the old VIT were awesome. This ugly grey interior really takes away from the brand. Hey KW spruce up the interior it isn't rocket science to make a beautiful interior.
I actually prefer the grey/black interior of this VIT interior. It is my preferred look over wood trim
No I occasionally run my 1980W-900a stock 450 hp V-8 CAT and a 9 over x 4over. My regular ride is a 2002 W900L with a 18 sp and 525 hp Cummins ISX.No Fruitliner for me !
Love the whole truck except the dash. Anything after 06 sucks on the KW dash. Miss the toggles and raised gauges.
Makes it look like everything else on the road.
Nothing lasts forever. The old school dash was cool for sure.
Only issue I have with the new dash is that nobody makes gauge bezels for it
They have built in chrome bezels.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy I know that. I have been driving for 30 years. I went to work for a company in 07 and leased a new w900. I missed my 2000 w900 so I turned in the 07.
I have a 86 cabover flattop I want to get back on the road. I like the old school character. Kw should be different and set apart. Their dash looks like everyone else with recessed beveled gauges and rocker switches.
Looks like the inside of the older kenworths I drive a 2012 T680 for work and like the interior way better
They both have their place in levels of comfort. I’m glad we offer both.
Beautiful truck
Thanks!
If Peterbilt is called the Cadillac of trucks then Kenworth is the Rolls Royce of trucks
I’m going to use that one ☝🏻
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy Kenworth need to get back the customs that the lost here to take in a good trade that is not miles out and for the other truck all you could do with them would be taking to an auction to get rid of them that way my brother does not have older trucks harder to get rid of them
That makes Volvo the Bentley.
@@mikey.180 Volvo is the kia of trucks 😂😂
I have only three W nines and I wouldn't give you $0.10 for another one
What is this paint design called? I couldn't find it on google. 🙄
I like this truck as well, but I'm just waiting to get a W990. 🙂 Hopefully I'll see one in 2020.
I’m excited to review my first one in a month or so.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy
One of the dealer here in Virginia had one on order for a customer and they picked the truck up the other day. I was hoping to get up there to see it, but it was already picked up. Luckily they were able to email me pictures of it and it was a great looking truck and it was my favorite color...Blue! The boss like it as well. Planning on going to the Mid America Truck Show this month so I'll be able to get up close with one or more W990's. I'll be looking forward to your review on it and your thoughts once you have one in your presents. My bosses salesman is not feeling it yet. He like the traditional trucks (T800 & W900) and doesn't take change that easily.
It is the future of Kenworth. Times are a changing.
@Chip Whitley I'm not sure that Kenworth is going to be regretting. From what I'm seeing I it seems like their really rolling these trucks off of the assembly line. Some are gonna like it and some aren't. I remember when the T880 was gonna be coming out and some people liked it and some didn't. Can't please them all.
@Chip Whitley You gotta do what works for you.
Wow! The W900 is the king of the road, and this is one killer edition👍✌ Now Andy you are the Kenworth's answer to mr Peterbilt Steve😉
Haha. Thanks for the compliment. Mr Steve does a great job! Thanks for watching. Nothing finer than a W niner.

Great Truck
Gorgeous rig, would have take bigger exhaust pipes, good vid as usuall
Thanks for watching. 5” pipes are old school. How the customer likes it b
Hermoso ese me sigue gustando
El otro modelo k sacaron no me gustó
It looks like the pipe was dented or bent on turbo exhaust side
It’s supposed to be like that. It’s bent.
How much this truck weight? Nice truck! I watch your videos often it would be great when you give the specs of the truck, be great to add the weight.
Will do. I usually wing it but I’ll try to remember to add that to my repertoire
How would you compare this W900 with a W900 from year 2000 equipped with Caterpillar 6NZ? Pls give us a honest opinion.
If the 6NZ was brand new that would be my choice. A 20 year old truck with a pile of miles might cost too much to keep running.
Thank you The Kenworth Guy. I guess when I will buy my W900 I will have, sadly, to settle for a X15.
You’re not settling. The X15 is performing extremely well.
xe đầu kéo u.s kenworth này đẹp wá anh ơi, engine gì vậy anh vì em thick lắm vậy thanks anh nhiều lắm.
Kenworth W900 top 😎👍
Oh yeah. 🤙🏻😎
Bro this water seprator got freeze in minus temperatures.just change one like freighliner have.this same type water seprator I have in my truck and got freeze last month in Minnesota. It sucks.
I suggest heated fuel tanks, heated filters and fuel conditioner.
Outside everything perfect, but when are they going to do some improvements on the inside same old design so much room for improvement.
Correct. And the Pete 389 too. Really sad.
Get a W990 if you want an updated interior. Leave the classic trucks alone
