    I was going to suggest this one for you. As you have now done it I will suggest "Africa" and "Hello" by Leo at Frog Leap Studios.

      'Africa' would be great.

      And if you react to Leo's version of Africa, be sure you watch to the end!

      Way better to do "beds are burning" "informer" or some other.. "africa" is done by a lot..and the best part of it is the outro.

      Also his cover of Dance Monkey is 1000 times better than the OG version.

    Everybody has heard this song. It's always played on aisle speakers in every grocery store coast to coast, multiple times a day. Grocery stores or not, Dire Straits was one of the world's biggest bands during their short run and most of Mark Knopfler's fans (rightfully) treat him as the one true God there is in the world of song writing, music composition, and guitar playing. About Leo, despite the significantly different styles, I think most MK fans love the Leo version. He has somehow preserved the sense of the song and lyrics through the transformation he offers.

    Glad you were impressed by Mark Knopfler (lead singer/guitarist with Dire Straits) he really is amongst the best guitarists out there....and to make him even more impressive....Mark is actually left handed, but taught himself to play right handed!! And the 'fade out solo' is actually one of the iconic parts of the track, check out a live version to experience the whole thing

      Mark Knopfler truly is amazing. However, regarding the left/right hand thing, it's not all that uncommon. I'm left handed, and I play the guitar right handed as well. There are a few reasons for this. For one thing, the guitar we had at home that I used to learn was stringed right handed. More importantly however, when first starting to learn the guitar, by far the most difficult thing is placing and moving your fingers correctly on the fretboard. This is a lot easier to learn if you use the hand for it that you have the most dexterity and coordination in, that is, your main hand. As such, for me as a left handed person, the only natural way for me to play the guitar is using the right handed style. I've known right handed people who played the guitar left handed for the same reason.

      When stealing content, I always suggest playing any promotional content in the video. It's the least scumbag thing you could do. I hope Leo strikes all these assholes that steal from him. Especially the ones that cut out his promotions at the end.

    Leo is a comic as well as being very talented playing a wide variety of instruments well. He has what seems like hundreds of metal covers here on UA-cam. They are all very entertaining. I enjoyed your reaction and will be back.

    Leo has a small collection of costume contacts. New covers out on Friday. His catalog is huge. At worst I say “this one isn’t for me”. One of his bigger recent covers is WAP. Adele’s Hello was his first semi viral video. He put together a band of his friends doing his covers. I think they did smaller venues in major metropolitan citys in Europe. Western Norway is Leo’s home.

    I'd like to introduce covers for Bohemian Rhapsody and the Sound of Silence by Forestella. I know you would never have heard of Forestella. But they are a crossover group with amazing voices & their own color in any cover. Please watch & react them! If you like PTX, I'm sure you like Forestella.

    Pentatonix is putting out a new video from their original songs album at noon Eastern standard time today. You may already have it. I thought you might want to be one of the first people to react to it because that will bring more people to your channel and hopefully they will subscribe. The song actually dropped at midnight and it's on all streaming platforms right now

    When you play live music at clubs you usually finish with a signiture song. My band did "All the girls all get prettier at closing time" i'm guessing Dire straits wrote this for that but it was good enough to go top 40.

    • @razor12516
      @razor12516 3 роки тому

      Dire Straits always plays “going home” at the end. EVERY TIME.
      Mark wrote sultans on a napkin listening to a band play their last song and considering the guy has multiple platinum records I’d say he had a few good enough for top 40 songs.

    • @patrickpost494
      @patrickpost494 3 роки тому

      @@razor12516 I did not know that. I always assumed because it was perfect for closing. Thank you Razor. I'll listen to 'Going Home" now. I'll stick to country trivia from now on. LOL!

    oh, that's painful. I'm a fan of the original and not a fan of metal. I can see how some people would like it but I'm not one of them. Nice comparison, though. I like your comparison idea. So far I have yet to hear a version that is new to me that I like better but I feel that it's good to branch out and hear new things and other versions.

    Please, back up after a pause. Please, back up after a pause.
    Please, please, PLEASE!
    People tend to pause at the end of a phrase. If you start back right there, you completely miss the way it transitions from one part to another, which is some of the coolest stuff in a piece like this.
    Great reaction, as usual. But when she sang "And then the man steps right up to the microphone," and you stopped. And I'm jumping up and down here going "back up, back up, BACK UP!" And you didn't. Hey it's about how you react to it, but I think in pausing to tell us about your reaction, you are robbing yourself from a big part of the experience by not backing up a little. Just my opinion man. I enjoy your channel.

    • @mikegoodwin2386

      And yeah, do Africa. Toto's original and Leo's cover. You won't be disappointed! Watch the Leo vid to the end. Leo fans will kill you in the comments if you skip the outro. It's totally worth it.

    You're gonna be the nice guy and ALLOW them to get their promotion out? You steal his content and you're going to ALLOW him to promote himself? You reaction channels can be fun sometimes but in the vast majority of cases, you're just thieves. Allow them to get their promotion in. I have never heard anything as arrogant and ridiculous in my life. I wish I could copyright strike this myself. Allow them... ffs. You were doing ok up until that moment. I was actually enjoying it.
