Great video mate with honest and helpful content. And a pretty accurate summary of the flathead fishing on the Swan this season to date. Thanks for sharing your learnings.
Had my first Flattie session early this week ( from NZ , we don't have Flathead ) , 3 hours and not a touch . Different style of fishing for me but great to be out and starting to try and learn the Swan and areas to target . I did experience Blowies though, pain in the arse on my softbaits.
Hey mate, should heat up a bit more over the next month as gets a bit hotter, somw nice fish showing up in the lower reaches of the river at the moment. Yes the blowies can be frustrating! If your using s factor or any scent west of the city it's a wrap for plastics
Hey mate on high tide I get them really up close to the bank in 30-40cm of water. Low tide I have been fishing areas where it drops quickly to 1.5-2 m deep and doing well there
Great video mate. Cheers
Thanks mate!!!
Loved this video and the tackle set up tips, I'll be hunting those out for sure
Thanks mate!!!

Cheers Adam! Hope you got onto some nice ones!
@DangasTackleTips Def had a pretty good season.... now to try to figure out cold weather fishing!
Great video again, nice to hear what's working for you and what hasn't.
