I was most surprised to see that coyote's aggressive behaviour towards your dog and its apparent disregard of your presence. Is it likely that it has young nearby to explain this behaviour?

I trap between 150-230 coyotes. There’s one year I had 273 coyotes but that was with my dad trapping some ground with me too that year.
I usually don't bother them but this one needs to go

I have had the same aggressive coyotes, upon looking after they were shot, they are always nursing females.
He was pretty aggressive, the other 12 we saw ran away and this one ran at us.
