    Hey everyone! It seems the youtube algorithm has been showing you all this video almost 2 years after the event. FYI: I uploaded this video the day that the earthquake happened. The info from USGS and news in California at the time all labelled it as 7.1 magnitude. Obviously, being in Palm Springs, we didn't feel the full force of it. If you want to learn more about the 7.1 earthquake, here's a link to the USGS site on it:

Thank you I've lived through a 7.1 earthquake that's really doesn't look like it at all San Francisco in 89, thankfully my house was on a long thin strip of Bedrock called Liberty Hill in the mission and so no damage but it tore up Fairmount of San Francisco up and there was liquefaction

      We experience earthquakes everyday in los angeles.. it’s just most of them are so small the average person doesn’t notice them.. typically between 1.8-3.4 size quakes depending on how deep they are 99% of people here won’t even know it happened till they see it on the news.. july 2018 we had a 6.2 quake and I definitely felt that..

    The hardest earthquake I experienced was 7.4, it lasted for about 2 minutes. We ran out of our house into the yard. When I looked at our house it was shaking from side to side like jello. We saw the neighbours running with her hands on her head and I heard them screaming also. The earthquake was the strongest I felt and that was in 2018 but I prayed psalm 91 and none of use got hurt and the earthquake stopped thankS To Jesus. I live in Trinidad and Tobago

      I've been in some dandies.
      I was in jail during 2 really big ones.
      The Northgate earthquake was freakin' scary.
      The county jail is on rollers .
      No b.s. the building was rolling side to side for about 10 minutes after the quake.
      You can hear a low rumbling from the earth, than the swaying begins.
      Another time I was in my bedroom and the earth started swaying and about 5 seconds after it started, there was a crazy a$$ jolt and you could hear the cars screeching and alarms going off and people screaming.
      The jolt was hard!
      The sound from within the earth is eerie.
      Even the swaying feels like you're on a machine that's moving, not on the solid ground.
      It'll go up and down or side to side.
      Pretty trippy experiences

There's type of movement, duration, shockwave build or diminish, distance from epicenter, the makeup of the ground its affecting, its layering.the amount and kinds of pre and after shock. Depth of the event in the earth, the fault it comes from .Then there's the structures themselves, when how and what they are made of If they been retrofitted or built in a earthquake resistant way, thier soundness thier unknown flaws or weaknesses that one finds after the fact. Then there is just plain ol unexplainable responses of something that defy the understood outcomes. • @fuldagermany
      @fuldagermany 3 роки тому

      Communist State? What the heck are you talking about? I lived in California for a very long time and just moved to North Carolina 17 years ago. It has to do with how one chooses to live and the people that they surround themselves by. Some people call North Carolina a very red state. There are people here from all over the place. So I don't put that kind of a description on the state. Things keep on changing all the time everywhere pretty much. California's gotten way too expensive for most people. California is a beautiful state. I miss the beaches being so close to where I lived in the past. I have yet to go to the ocean on the East coast. It's about a 3-hour ride or so. A day trip for me which is not a sensible thing cuz it would be 3 hours there and 3 hours back and then what? so if you go you need to actually stay for a weekend or so. And quite frankly I don't know if it would be as pretty as the Pacific ocean. By the way do you really know what communism is? From what I understand, the theory of Communism the way it was written by Marx was very good thing, in theory. Apparently it's difficult to make it work the way it was written for some reason and the same thing applies for democracy. Democracy is a fabulous concept but to get it to work the way we imagine it is also very difficult. The reason a lot of these things are difficult is because we're people and were imperfect and there's always some time of conflict unfortunately and differences of opinion. Compromises is wonderful thing if you can do it.
