      Kuminga gets opportunities and he's just not consistent. The team cant win with him being the focal point of their offense. Every now and then, he gives flashes of what he can do, but what he did to a relaxed Clipper team isn't what he can do to the rest of the league, at least not yet.

      My response isn't going to sound right, but I promise you, my intent comes from a good place. Kuminga has been part of the problem, but I can't put most of the blame to him. So many fans thinks Kerr's job is to develop without realizing that isn't why they hired him, nor is it the expectation of the organization for him to raise up new Stars. His #1 job is to ensure that the man who adds 4 Billion in equity to this team is happy. The organization doesn't care enough about Kuminga nor any other non-star player on this team. It's not just about Curry, but it's ONLY about Curry. Why do this team put up with Draymond? It's because of Curry. Why does this organization cater to a style of play that isn't necessarily best for the majority of the rest of the players?
      Here's the truth. The NBA Franchises are more of a business than they are a competitive league. It's all about what makes me and our stock holders money. You want to see more of Kuminga? He needs to gain more media interest. Draymond would've been let go many times over if he didn't produce where it counts the most. He's popular as a villain and many will tune in just to see him fail. Why didn't this team do anything to Draymond when he socked Poole before it became public at a later date? Because they don't care about what we care about.
      Listen, there are now less x's and o's reasons as to why they don't prioritize Kuminga. Sadly, I doubt he will be here next year since he is looking for close to Max money. But the stock holders are not putting pressure on the owners, the owners are not putting pressure on the G.M, the G.M isn't putting pressure on Kerr, and Kerr isn't putting any pressure on Steph and Draymond. It's a business 1st and I think we forget that part of it.

      @AndYouAre 8 днів тому

      Yeah, you ain't listening... Those who love Steph and Dray over team, they prefer to just blame Kerr for everything, even when it's Steph and Dray's action that caused the L. The roster overall is flawed. Kerr hasn't coached this team well, Steph has finally looked mortal this year, and Dray is the actual heart of the teams problems, which is allowed by Steph and Kerr. Most don't understand that Dray really can't play any other way. He's the problem that keeps on giving... And it's sad. He still gives flashes of greatness on both sides of the ball, but the normal basics stuff, he continues to hurt this team.

    • @Syberz2
      @Syberz2 8 днів тому

      @@jamiu22 I don't think this is a "both sides are true" situation. He was forced to play young vs the Clippers. They played well, but talent and experience held out for the Clippers.

    • @Syberz2
      @Syberz2 7 днів тому

      @@AndYouAre What are you babbling about? The core of the team's problems is Kerr's coaching and complete inability to allow young players to close games and make mistakes within his system. TJD just closed his first game in a long time. The Young players have been carrying their load and have looked good since the Grizzly's blowout. Babbling about Dray in the sample size as if Kerr doesn't manage personnel is insane.

    • @AndYouAre
      @AndYouAre 7 днів тому

      @Syberz2
      We wont agree with my counter argument so I'll just simply let it go. I believe TJD was benched because the Lakers decided to go without a Center for a huge portion of the 2nd half, having LeBron play a huge portion of his minutes at the 5. The Lakers also went with a 3 guard lineup for 12 of the 24 2nd half minutes. It's not that TJD was benched for playing poorly. You want Dray, Wiggs, or Kuminga guarding most actions that involve LBJ. Who was TJD or even Looney going to guard? It was one of the few times it made more sense to have Dray at the 5 more and going with a quicker lineup to offset their 3 guard lineup.

Draymond knows how to set him up, do handoffs, etc. and Steph is comfortable with him. On top of which, Draymond will be verbal on things in the locker room about things that Steph doesn’t often want to say. That’s the only reason the Warriors have put up with his antics. You can tell he's right just by seeing sometimes steph curry and kuminga playing pnr together, how much space and threat it creates on offense, because both of these players need the attention of the defense. Last five or six games Kuminga is showing great playmaking skills out of the short roll and making good and quick reads. This minimize even more the draymond role on the team, that said i think draymond still is viable beeing there in the corner i could trust him to hit the open three he's almost a 40% shooter and is consistently hitting them, it's just a matter of adaptability.

      Draymond just need to come off the bench and have kuminga at the 4. Wiggins and Kuminga athleticism and rebounding abilities will put paint pressure. And they need a defensive Center like Myles turner. Or even better, get Sabonis at the C and you got a great team. Draymond is the problem, he need to be a teacher but he act like he still an all star player. Dray and klay should have been coming off the bench after the raptors won the champs and the GSW should have pick either Edward or Lamelo in that pick. Instead they tried to fill a center role that they didn’t really need cause they’ve won without a legit center before. He’s actually having a decent season so far , yeah there’s been some careless passes , unnecessary fouls , but that’s not new … here’s what , when fundamentally sound basketball is played your odds of winning is increased , play like it’s a youth rec league and those odds decrease exponentially… these are professional basketball players , if they can’t pull it together and play the game , what’s to say ? Sure Kerr and his mad scientist line ups are questionable.. but again these guys are professional players with enough experience to get it done … pointing fingers , screaming fire the coach and all that Jazz seems warranted but is it ? I don’t know …. A big or two would sure come in handy …. Kerr, Steph and Dray are all a package deal at this point. You accept one you accept all. None of them can conceive of playing any other way it seems. Steph is very noticeably declining people try to deny it for years but this season it's clear as day. Not only do the stats say he's declining you watch games and you can see how old and tired he is. Not only can he not go the way he used to every game he can't even do it for a whole quarter. In individual situations he struggles to get by even minus defenders sometimes.
    I know his and the team ego won't let and he's still a cash cow but they really should be trading Steph to jump start the rebuild. Fire Steve trade Donkey and start drafting a rebuilding give J, TJD and Mood all the runway they want in a simple modern system.

    Just from my observation, I think is on the court for the simple fact that he makes Steph’s job easier. I think when Draymond is on the court, Steph has more freedom to move without the ball and run off screens. When Draymond is not on the court, Steph has to try to create his own shot which wears him down. I agree with everything you say about Draymond though. This biggest issue is that this team keeps declining because the team will not move away from the 2-man game if Steph and Draymond. And I don’t think Draymond will ever leave Golden state unless forced to because he’ll get exposed anywhere else.

      All of the top 5 players are tethered to other greats. Jordan never won without Pippen, Kareem had Magic and Oscar, LeBron has changed teams 4 times for his 4 rings, and so on. Team games need teammates.

    I was punching the air when they traded Poole, I thought it should have been Draymond. They would’ve kept Poole, Klay, Curry and use the bigs they have now like looney and TJD. They wouldn’t be struggling now if Poole was handling the ball along with Curry

    • @DemonKingBadger
      @DemonKingBadger 8 днів тому +1

      Poole was in a place he needed to get out of there for his own good, regardless. So, they really need to get rid of both.

      @NotShambles 8 днів тому

      @ how so? He’s not playing as good as he did when he was playing for the warriors. Not to mention the difficulty of the shots he was taking and making was higher. Just one not both

  • @powerchanger1015
    @powerchanger1015 9 днів тому

    Ima be real I agree but I also disagree. There’s no way I could sit up here and say the main reason we’re struggling is because draymond and Steph are taking over the offense where Steph has had multiple games where he shoots under 10 shots this season the problem has been that Steph hasn’t been involved to start off games where draymond has the ball in his hands all the time. I encourage people to really rewatch these games. In that Indiana game Steph didn’t even shoot the ball that first quarter and had a total of 3 shots taken by the 3rd😭 I don’t think it’s the both of them dominating the offense rather just too much draymond dominating the ball. Also I really don’t think we’d be having as much issues if Steve would just smarten up and play some bigger lineups. And stop with this overuse of motion offense but we know he won’t so he has to go. Draymond genuinely is a liability on offense but his defense is still good (if he actually tries) so idk but I wouldn’t be mad if we traded him for some good pieces.

    I can’t disagree more . Especially about KD. KD wanted the ball at the end of the game and Kerr thought differently in fact the whole team did . That why KD felt like an outsider. Running the offense with KD hasn’t won any championships. The truth if Draymond was right . the rest of the young players I really blame the front office for there development. Tbh they should have all been traded by now, bc they can’t develop players and wanna win a championship. They really messed up that whole plan by not drafting melo .

    Im a warriors fan and ive been done with this Cat for time. Hes an overbearing presence vocally and energy wise, and hes turnover prone as well. The defense he provides and all the hype it gets is overrated for me, because so many of the other things he does, at a 25m price point, under the new CBA, is basically a black hole for the team. The roster construction is so flawed, the coaching and system is archaic and outdated, and Steph just goes along to get along, not really exercising any type of power or voice that he could wield to put a stop to all this nonsense. If you really unpack Draymonds blunders historically, 2016, 73-9 season, finals suspension cost us a chip. Durant leaving for sure had something to do with DeDe running his mouth. Poole we lost because of Dray, and last season his WWE moves and 27 games missed for suspension for sure cost us at least 7-10 wins. Hes basically a Cancer when you unpack it fully.
