Awesome as usual, ladies and Miss Lucy. I have to admit that the siren had me scared too about a tornado. Hope Granny is feeling better and y’all stay warm.
At first I thought what we were hearing were tornado sirens. Do tornado sirens sound similar? I have never heard one. We do get tornados in the province of Ontario, but not often enough to develop a siren as a warning. I didn’t that one stick you were carrying would ever end Kim! Thanks for a wonderful Monday video. 😎🇨🇦😎
Hi gals. Just watching Jen throwing big sticks and it just jumped into my mind that it's a good job that Lucy isn't a stick retrieving dog or you would be in soooooooooo much trouble up to your necks in sticks. 😂😂😂Sue, mum from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺🤣🤣
sounds like tornado sirens we have in St Louis. Heard those enough over the years! Glad I don't live near that dam or I'd be freaking out all the time. LOL
We get way fewer tornadic storms here in Dayton, Ohio compared to y'all that the sound of a siren completely unnerves me regardless of its purpose or time of year. 😱🌪️. _"This stick is stuck"_ made me chuckle 😄💖
@@AmyMahoney-m6y I was six then, but I remember standing on my roof in Troy back in the 90s with a camcorder filming the storm that kicked Ansonia's butt.
I read your FAQs and found that people who call you stupid or idiots are actually the ones who need to say it to themselves. What you three ladies (Kim,Jenn,Lucy) do is uplifting and wonderful. You improve the flow through the culverts and insure a longer life to the roads. If there is a bad storm, your maintenance helps give those rural folks extra time to escape the onslaught of the flooding. Wish you could have been here in North Carolina when Helene bullied her way through. Helene caused 2,062 mud/landslides as she pushed her way through. 350 miles wide (missed my town by 20 miles) and a maximum of 29.6 inches of rainfall in NC. Miles and miles of roads and bridges are laid to waste. Towns are 'missing', people too. Whole families are wiped out. Generation-owned homesteads are broken up downstream. We are unsure if the banks and mortgage lenders are going to forgive the loans on homes and lands that just aren't there anymore. And the wintery weather has hurt those still stuck in tents. People say 'why don't they go back home to begin the clean-up?' They have to wait for roads to be built so they can access their land (if it's still there.) Then they need permission to go there because the soil is unstable. Some rebuilt roads are just one lane because solid rock boulders are right at the road's edge. There is so much to do. My beautiful state has this massive scar that will need decades to heal.😢
Now THAT'S a siren! I live in a city and our civil sirens might be a loud as a frog fart in a pond. I really enjoy every episode of your work. Thank you so much!
We have something like the two culverts down and around small one up and it is used as a backup incase of flods but I am not sure about this one as the water level seems low
First time viewer cool content.. Adding a shovel along with your rake could be helpful. In my personal experience removing debris and encouraging water to flow quickly through culverts a lot of areas the shovel was more effective.
Are humans anti-beavers? They like to stop the water and for some reason some of us like to watch it unstopped and flowing. I sometimes wonder why I enjoy watching two women on the other side of the world unclogging things, but not often, mostly I just enjoy watching!
Good workout for you ladies today! Thanks for taking us along!

It does sound very close to the tornado siren. Tornado sirens have a longer span, I believe. Definitely a sound that grabs your attention!

loved that culvert with the 3rd over flow one on top.

Good job ladies 👏
Very nice work Girls
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hope you dear ladies had a good start to 2025 and that the weather hasn’t stop you getting out and about. Love from your fans in Limerick Ireland ☘️
That one looks like the back of a jet that plowed into the dirt, it is a strange one. It’s a new one for me.
That's the same siren that goes off in Yorkshire England when we are about to flood it is eerie
Makes me think of Wednesdays at noon in Little Rock, or Conway here in Arkansas 😅; they test tornado sirens at that time around here
Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA and ohio. How is your grandmother. Doing.good job stay safe
That’s the same sound as the air-raid siren from WW2 in UK. Super work as always ladies.
Jen/ Kim why do they leave all the rubble behind when they repair/ replace a culvert or bridge. Curious to know. Good job ladies as usual 😊😊😊😊😊

That was a horrible thing that happened to your state

Hey ladies
Thought it was a tornado alarm. I be like watch.ya doing get your selves in the shelter.....
How did you both get started cleaning out these culverts ?
There was a lot of long branches in that culvert!
You need to use lithium grease on those hinges. WD40 the WD stands for water displacement its not a lube. Good Video ladies!

❤
That alarm scared the crap outta me it sounds just like our tsunami alarm.Great video as always
Great job ladies, but the siren gave me the goose bumps as hear in the U.K. it would have been the 4 minute warning!
I grew up in rural southeast Oklahoma, these videos bring back memories
Good gloves Jen. Are they snake proof?😊
No they aren’t
Mama power 🦸🏼♀️
28°C in December? It's quite warm there...
I like your videos!
I thought the siren was an escaped convict 🫢 sorry xx

Welcome! We do have a shovel in the truck but a lot of times we just get busy and forget.
You would think that the city would go out and do stuff like that. But. Nope.

Are you SURE there wasn't a tornado 🤔 🌪
Yes we are sure 😊
the Russian are coming
Weird looking culverts two big ones on the bottom and one smaller one in the middle. I’m sure there’s a story about that.
You should make a note of this location & come back during the dry season, to get all the BIG, OLD wood out
That Siren was actually set up by the beavers - it’s to warn them you ladies are attacking their best work!
😂
What has Lucy looking as if she smelly something nasty at the beginning they know more then we will ever sense
🇬🇧😘👍💪🏻👍
