Gapping the top end of my bag through fitting has made the single biggest difference to my game recently. Such a valuable thing for all golfers. My bag: No driver Taylormade SIM2 Ti Rocket 12° - 280 carry PXG 0311XF 4 Fairway wood 16° - 255 carry Ping G430 7 Fairway wood 20° - 235 carry Taylormade P770 4 Iron 24° - 215 carry Titleist T100S 5 Iron 27° - 200 carry
appreciate this very much - just don't understand why so many content creators fail to indicate the loft angles of the clubs utilized in their videos. I mean, with all of the data points involved, why/how are lofts not considered useful here? mind boggling
I need to better gap my bag. While theoretically I have the speed to launch a 3 wood I just cant. So I generally go with a low spin 5 wood and a 7 wood. Then I have 4 and 5 hybrid but my 5 is flying almost as long as my 4 and my 7w is carrying as long as my 5w just without the roll.
Probably some fine tuning that can be done. Important to remember that the lofts don't necessarily have to be separated either. If you have a 21 degree 7 wood and a 22 degree hybrid, they could produce different enough trajectories that it works for your gapping at least in the carry distance.
Almost the same set up and results as me except my 3 wood is 14.5 (G425 max). The gap between 5 wood and 5 iron (23 degree) is what kills me. At the moment it's a 3 hybrid due to the different trajectory vs. 5 wood. Tried a 4 driving iron but it's bunched up with my 5 iron almost.
Thanks for watching! You could also try a 4-hybrid there or even a 5-hybrid. Loft might be similar, but the build with a hybrid could separate those enough
I've got a 3 wood, 3 hybrid, and 4 ping icrossover, then 5 iron. That leaves a bit of a gap between 3 wood and 3 hybrid, but at that end of the bag I'm not expecting as much consistency and precision.
Thanks for watching!! This conversation is applicable to all golfers - gapping your clubs properly is important for everyone and it's a discussion we have in every fitting, no matter the swing speed!

So interesting Gents 👍 very similar set up and numbers for me Driver, 4w @16.5, 7w @ 20.25, 4h @21 then 5i @ 24.
Great Video! Great content

Dispersion shot would been nice
Do you offer gapping sessions without a fitting? How much $?

When are you people going to learn to appeal to the 95% of all golfers who can't come anywhere close to these numbers? SMH

This video, for the average golfer, or 95% of all golfers, is useless and foreign.
