DEANOGTO yes but they were a few. The 88 could rape russian tanks like SU-152 from even 2km, while SU152 i guess it didn't have more than 500-600 meters of range (an howitzer is a bit like a mortar, if it has no depression in high, it has no range)

The Stug was an arty piece till they figured out if you use it as direct fire, it's a hell of a TD. Also pretty much all TD's also could fire indirectly.

I know, comic... But the 152mm BL-10 gun(howitzer) in real cannot penetrate the 3xPzKpfW VI Tiger by one round :-/ But(t) video is cool, funny and... just more funny!
SU152 cannon was actually ML20C not BL10 , the shell of that cannon weighted at 43.5 kilos and could penetrate 200mm armor from a distance of 1500 to 2000 meters and if somehow armor of a Tiger wasn't penetrated just the impact of that 43.5 kg shell was disabling the tank ... fyi :)

This is literally true, because if the tank is turretless, you can add a much higher caliber gun and better armor, no wonder the germans thought of jadgtiger and the russians thought of ISU152 with BL 10
Imagine if the Germans actually produced Tigers that quickly instead of building tanks like the Maus. If you loop the last part for five minutes or so you can get 1300 Tigers, the number actually produced.
