It is no conspiracy, just human psychology. If you watch games live, you will notice some players work out referees all night. They chat and laugh with them before the game and during the game and after the game. The same guys have very dramatic reactions if they are not getting the call they want, and honestly they can be very intimidating with their giant physique. That leads to an unintentional biased reaction from referees as they are human and can be manipulated no matter how experienced they are. LeBron is a master at that and uses it for his team. However, Steph does not play that game. He is a flow player and uses his energy to focus on the game and getting into the rhythm like many of the Warriors players. Jordan Poole and Draymond used to help the team with that, but now one of them is gone and the other has a big target sign on his back. I think this is why Warriors and Steph are not getting their fair of calls when refs are in doubt especially during fast paced games.
There’s a serious conspiracy against the Warriors. Steph Curry happens to be the bullseye, he’s a 92% free throw shooter. That means giving Steph a fair whistle changes a 5 point loss, into a win. That means a 41 win Warriors team becomes a 61 win team. Who wants to deal with that in a 7 game series? They’re still trying to tarnish Steph’s legacy.
who's "they" and why would "they" wanna screw the warriors ? Warriors winning is good for the league as their playoffs series get a lot of views. Stop it with those dumb conspiracies. Steph just doesnt know how to flop like Lebron and Luka and all
@@2cupojoe136conspiracy? The warriors are 30th in free throws because apparently they are not ever fouled? Okay then explain how the lakers at #1 in free throw discrepancy at +1,160 and the team in 2nd is only +380 something In the last 2 years. If you add up 2nd 3rd and 4th the lakers have more than all 3 combined so apparently you actually think the lakers have been fouled over 700 more times than any other team haha 😂 you wild
Well if Curry got all those free throws that he should have, then they might have 73 wins a lot more and then GS would be on top yr after yr. Also the same reason the Lakers get 1400 FT compared to the next closest team with 300. All of this is for the refs to control the outcomes of games.
I think the next time Steph is fouled like that and there is no call, the team with coach should speak out about the shameful sold out refs in post game and take the fine anyway.
Aside from the obvious agenda for not joining Nike, I think Steph simply shoots too well. Imagine Steph with Harden's whistle (one of the only other guys to put up a lot of 3's), it would break the league. 26-28 points with about 10 extra points from the line, and Curry would be stacking scoring titles like Wilt and Jordan.
No other superstar has been rigged more than curry for these batshit terrible calls. He has to be one of the most disrespected superstars when it comes to this. But this just speaks to just how great this man is. Being a true volume scorer one of the best we’ve ever seen and he has not gotten the calls his entire career. He continues to be one of my favorite players in the NBA because he does this with the refs not even on his side. It’s a joy to watch him and I’m a Celtics fan btw saying this.
It’s crazy how people are counting out the warriors but one thing is don’t poke the bear we still have the best player in league and former defense player of year draymond and klay looking good average 18 points per game off the bench and Wiggins is looking like two way Wiggs 23 points against mavs and elite defense on Luka and team defense
I believe Steph doesnt get calls because sometimes the refs literally don't see the action. They are so mesmerized by his play and the shots he is both taking and making that they are often caught ball watching instead of actually officiating. Sometimes we can forget that the refs are people too and they can become fans for a moment. And often those moments are when steph is getting onliterated by a 7 foot behemoth.
Lebron, Taytum and Doncic etc. are getting superstar treatmemt from the refs but Steph never get it..even if he is fouled hard the refs acted like nothing happened, i think the NBA wants to end the Dubs Dynasty🤔🤔
I think there are many factors for the lack of a whistle for Curry recently. For his jumpshot, I just think the refs just expects every shot to go in so it doesn't matter as much (yes it is bad reasoning but it's the ref). For his attacks to the basket, he's a guard that isn't as athletic as Morant and ANT, and isn't much of a foul hunter in the float game area such as SGA or Trae. And lastly, there was a decline in foul calls and free throws after the All-Star break due to the immense amount of scoring, and it is theorized (or maybe confirmed idk) that there was a memo by Adam Silver to the referees to allow more contact by the defenders.
I wish I could answer this question honestly but it is not easy to come up with a for sure answer on this. I mean if anyone should get respect from the refs, it should be Steph. He has way enough experience and a great resume. He deserves to get plenty calls, especially on instances like you showed on the video. I see this same problem with Zion at times, being a big pelicans fan. He shoots 15+ shots at the rim per game and gets hit often, but only averages 7 free throws a game. Curry takes about 7 shots inside the arc per game and averages 4 free throws a game which isn’t great still. Guys like SGA and Harden get so many free throws and I am not sure why. Harden averages about 4.5 shots a game inside the ace and gets the same amount of free throws a game (4.5)! Don’t get me wrong they are great at what they do, but there is no reason everyone should not get the same calls. A foul is a foul! If it seems to be a foul on one player, it should be on every player. Obviously in this era, you get alot of acting and it may influence the refs at times but you should not have to do this to get to the line. Every year in this part of the season, the refs get a little light on the whistle to prepare for the playoffs but still a foul is a foul. These players need their respect. The high volume of threes taken by Steph takes his free throw average down some, but when you can clearly see it, you should go to the line.
These kind of reviews are not to be taken as is. 1.As Dallas, they want the suns to take over their spot for match up reasons. 2. Curry should sign a contract with nike to get more calls or better yet, get UA to pay the ref league association. 3. Kyrie dont like lebron, so Dallas would root over gsw. 😂 4. Curry needs to master lebron flop or harden flop to get more calls. Look at embiid, after teaming up with harden, he learned a lot of flopping moves.
Curry doesn't get any calls or the amount of calls he deserves because he truly is the best player in the league and unfortunately for Curry and the Warriors the powers of the NBA don't want Steph to put up 35+ points a night
