Hello from Ukraine!🇺🇦 The guys from the band Molodi are from the destroyed and Russian-occupied city of Mariupol on the shores of the Sea of Azov. The chorus of their song translates as: "No matter how many new worlds I see, in my heart, there’s always only my sea. And though foreign winds stir its waves again, you can’t take my sea away from me."
That stop in “bird of pray” tickles my brain, I experience some sort of heavenly healing with it. Boys have done some work from the previous year, and I hope they will go to the Eurovision, but they gotta fix their accent
@@wojtek19581 Greetings from London! I'll hopefully manage to react to Poland's songs from Monday. Can't wait to listen what y'all are preparing for us ❤️
Thank you for reviewing our songs in such a kind and respectful manner, I really appreciate it!🖤 My choice this year will be the same as last year-Ziferblat. Their song does something to me, it's beautifully written from a musician's perspective. I do understand that some people might not be into that but I really hope that this year they will represent us on Eurovision.
I want to thank you for the respect, the way you reacted to all our songs. This year's selection is special, diverse and multi-genre, each song is different from the last. The producer this year is Tina Karol, and I guess her main idea was to show the power and beauty of richness, our musical and cultural diversity. And I think all these songs are in a perfect place in the final. There are no bad or cringe ones. Yes, there are songs with more potential and less, but they are all catchy. I'm glad you liked Abie. I want to tell you a little bit about the message. Her song is catchy and danceable, but it is about sadness, pain, shame and violence. Abie is a volunteer and has had experience of communicating with women who have suffered from violence at the hands of Russians. In particular, this song is also about sexual abuse. And the lyrics are very veiled and filled with images and ethnic comparisons, so it's not immediately clear what the song is about. Abie is meant to be supportive, to talk about the problems, pain and fears of women, Ukrainian women in particular, because it unfortunately got worse during the war, but also women in general, about the pain that they are ashamed to share. I really honour her for choosing such a tough subject to sing about.
That's why I love Eurovision! So many people with such a variety of music tastes and preferences. As for me - I'm more into DK Energetyk -style music. But I really like most of entries (except Vlad Sherif - it's also personal in some way). So if any artist of the 9 that left will win - I'll be totally OK with it. I really strongly see Khayat on the Basel stage. Thus guy is trying hard, and he has grown since his first and second attempts to present Ukraine on ESC. Ziferblat are incredible. They also deserve it. And Fiyinka does, and Masha Kondratenko too... I'll wait for the live performances. Until then I can't decide who am I rooting for 🤷♂️
People say there’s too much English this year, which is “unusual” for Ukraine. However, we only had two fully Ukrainian songs in our entire Eurovision history - Shum and Stefania 😅
@@archie-runs hahaha.. that's very true. I don't know why my head was telling me that this was unusual. But apart from the actual Eurovision entries... Usually Vidbir has more songs in Ukrainian right? Or is it my head playing games with me ?? 😂
Oh, in my opinion your reaction is just the best ❤😃🤗🥰 Thank you! Glory to Ukraine!🇺🇦 Please keep standing with Ukraine, you can donate, spread truth about what happening in Ukraine, support Ukrainian artists and businesses 💙💛
I like MOLODY because I am impressed by the meaning of their song, because they are from Mariupol, which is now occupied and was completely destroyed, this city is located on the shore of the Sea of Azov, so the words "And although it (the sea) is again disturbed by foreign winds, You can't take my sea away from me." - really deep and impressive to the very core of the soul 💔
I am predicting top 2 for Masha and Khayat, both are very good, I'm personally leaning a bit towards Khayat, but if Masha wins, that will be a nice entry as well Khayat already was in Vidbir twice, you can look up his entry in 2020, it was called Call for love - that was a great entry and he moves well and just feels confident on the stage (but GoA won that year, they were super cool too) and Masha is very popular in Ukraine at the moment, she released several songs that got on top of the charts in 2022, and she's very good live too so we'll see how Vidbir goes in February, but I think one of these two will go to eurovision this year :) hugs from Kyiv! ❤
Ukraine is another country that always delivers! In principal I prefer songs that are not in English, especially if your language is as beautiful as Ukrainian, but all songs are really good. I think I'm really blown away by the second song! It's very catchy and that's perfect blend of traditional, folky elements with modern sound. I like the last one too, I'm the rock lover definitely 😊❤
Regarding the song Abiye: "Home is a manifesto against violence, which is a harsh reality for many. It’s not just about women’s pain but also about the power of support and faith in healing! When I sing this song, I feel our voices intertwining as one," said the author about her song.
@@Kostis_ESC The author also clarified that this song was written under the influence of the author's trip to the deoccupied territory of the Kherson region, where she learned about the atrocities committed by the russian occupiers against local women.
omg!! saw your reaction video of vidbir last year and loved it! i was actually wondering if you did one for this year, and here you are in my recommendations :) sas efharisto a lot for that
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Vidbir finales! Your feedback truly matters. The "Dim" song is cool and a great representation of the Ukrainian spirit! I also like Fiinka!
In my opinion, the song Tsiferblat puts a lot of pressure on my head, and it will be difficult to listen to it in a concert hall. It will not be well received by many people, but understandable.
Hi Everyone 🥰 Who is your favourite to win Vidbir 2025??
Ziferblat ❤
Fiїnka/Abie/Ziferblat
Masha
KHAYAT and ZIFERBLAT❤
My favourite is Masha, but everyone from Ukraine will show masterpiece. 💙💛

Hi! I’m from Ukraine. Ziferblat was my favorite group last year. But, you’re right, this song better. It’s amazing, I love them!

Zifetblat's song has many cultural references to the Ukrainian music stage of 1970s, so I think that's why Ukrainians like it so much.

Masha Kondratenko is the same girl who sings and dances.
Oh thanks for that. I was really confused 😂 And now I have high expectations for this performance!!!
The staging for Masha will be created by Kostiantyn Tomilchenko, who has previously worked on stagings for MELOVIN, Jamala, and Go_A.
