Fun Fact: It looks like Boba can only dispel 100 effects with Execute similar to how Darth Vader has a cap of 100 debuffs dispelled with Culling Blade. Guess the developers never expected to go that high. What this means is if Lord Vader is over 100 buffs it looks like you will not dispel all the protection up and only 100 of them!
Si if Lord vader manager to get more he could survival since the damage has a cap (a huge One)?

Oh, I actually just saw something like this with Hondo. Do all dispels of any kind have a cap of 100? Cuz In Conquest my Ig-11 had like 157 DoTs and a ton of other debuffs from Inquisitors.. and my Hondos dispel didn't get rid of all of it ???

It's so funny, all the people saying that cg is going to nerf this. Guys, this is a datacron interaction. Cg doesn't nerf those things, this interaction goes away in 16 days on its own anyway.
Yeah CG basically said if something is broken, unintended they won't do anything about it. Just let it expire when the set goes away.

lord failure has no empirial or UFU instakills that prevent revives so B.Mando can keep him going when they're not targeting fennec.

Not a boba post but sorta on topic i love how trayas nerf says when a DS gl is present so no longer counters LV but now she can consistently counter jml. I don’t understand why one gl has to be protected by cg but not another.
Give it time. When CG realize it affects JML as well they'll go back to the Qui-Gon Nerf text.
Of course... JML's thing seems to be beating any GL but lose to multiple non-GL teams so... shrug?

This is why I refused to put that datacron on my LV from day 1. I get better results with the "Recover health on crit" and "Revive tank" datacrons.

Yes, but I don't know if that actually does anything. The contract says 200% his usual defense penetration, but even at R8 Boba has 0 defense penetration. Unless I'm missing something, doesn't that mean its a 200%*0 situation?

But, I fear for the next great GL counter that gets promoted here. Being the king of triple B paints a target on your back :)

That's what I commented too. He does 40% per effect dispelled but idk how long the geos would last
@@JediJoe34 We can try an odd comp with Wat/BAM to keep him alive and Brute Alpha to perma spawn a Brute to take the more serious punch.
@@narcis6467 Bam won't protect Spy, only scoundrel allies. Even with a Wat tech, Master's training, and 3 stacks of beskar armor I highly doubt Spy works. Even then you're just wasting better teams by pulling those toons when you can just use Boba with BH. In concept I bet Spy can (unless he has a max number of effects he can dispel), but practically no point

Geonosian spy does 40% per effect dispelled so essentially he should be able to do it too but I don't think the geos would survive long enough for that
Genosian spy is the one reason I have been able to get padme lol. That constant protection up is cancerous for my roster but I've been working on geonosians

@@deejmateo832 OK I thought you were referring to doing a similar trick to the Boba Fett trick in this video by having Spy remove the stacks of Protection Up that Padme grants for extra damage (which doesn't quite work since Padme prevents crits)

Idk if the math is right on that dmg increase tbh if it’s flat 30% dmg x number of buffs then yeah it would be 2700 times.
But if it adds each 30% one at a time then overall would be a lot more.
For example if base dmg was 1000 and had 10 buffs then it’s either 30x10=300% aka 3000 extra dmg for 4000 total or
1000+30%x10 which is 13,785 dmg.
I feel it’s probably the first but would be interesting to see dmg with say 25 debuffs see how much that does Vs the 100

Maybe, I’ve seen old videos of people doing it to GL Rey with Ben using an Ewok lead? Forgot who maybe Paploo. But I think the big thing is surviving until they can get that one shot
@@Me_When_A_Funny Yeah, it could be effective as a cleanup, Geos have always been used against LV and with the protection datacron, you could line up a shot that theoretically could one tap LV
