I think we have too much emphasis on talent and not enough on coaching. We’ve had talent advantage in most games and still found a way to lose. It seems like we want a large talent disparity to overcome a conservative offense or lack of adjustments on defense.
Indeed
My man I have been saying this for years and Gary seems to spew garbage but you are 100% right. I ask them to compare Mario coaching against his opponent this year and I think this is the most important thing Mario coaching prowess
Clearly, we need top talent to overcome our poor coaching....
I’m sick of Ferman saying no elite talent on this roster. He complained about Rousseau not being elite and needing to play instead of sitting out the COVID season. A lot of Bama players failed in the NFL, but you will never mention that. If a team is winning the NFL tends to draft players high off potential, which does not equate to elite. If Miami starts winning games these players will get drafted a lot higher. Don’t forget, Ferman criticized Rousseau and didn’t think he would get drafted that high.
I absolutely never criticized Rousseau. Opposite. I argued he needed to be playing more - Gary
Great show guys!!!
Agree with Matt...and hopefully we will have some big leads and lots of "garbage time" to get the younger players time. GO CANES!! #88
Gary was Tim Tebow or Ken Dorsey elite so stop with the nfl stuff you can be one of the best college players and don’t do anything in the nfl so stop it
@carloswalker221 Gary is stubborn! Just like Cristobal
Tebow and Dorsey had so many elite players around them that they couldn't fail. Gary is right about that.
@@POINTOFVIEWTV1 so Tim Tebow would not be considered an elite college player come on
@carloswalker221 No Tebow was legit at UF, but what I'm saying is that team was loaded with talent just like 01' Miami. With that said, Tebow didn't have the arm to carry a team if he had to.
@@POINTOFVIEWTV1 my point was everyone isn’t NFL players but the player can be great college players Gary point is if you aren’t NFL material you aren’t great
Gary is Bain elite for Miami so that is the only thing that is important. Gary what do you think Bain would get if he went in the portal ? Watch what you say
Not elite yet but he was only a freshman - Gary
I love Matt he starts so much shit. He's right though
Gary Bain didn’t have 5 sacks he had 7.5 sacks
Correct I misspoke there. Point I was making was that we have had DE with 18 in a season. He will get there hopefully - Gary
Matt and Gary the one things you guys aren’t looking at or you doing it intentionally is Coaching of our opponents compared to Mario and coaching matters in college football but I know this is touchy subject for you guys
Uuuuum Matt,
DJ Lagway's NIL is valued at 1.1 million and I would rather pay the higher amount for the more proven guy. 🙌
Like I said a bad example but in general high school recruits are going to come cheaper than proven productive college players. That was my point. - Matt.
We will win 10 games this year tou can bet on it .❤ Canes
Matt said baron only had 5 sacks when that’s simply not true. ESPN is free.
Yea they have to develop them saying w3 don't have elite talent then why does he think we should win 10 plus games this year then??
