First time home owner and I am very computer savy gal. I can fix it all but put me in front of this box and I panic. LOL!!! I am scared that I will break it. Good demo...the company that installed the irrigation did a poor job and shorten the hose and wanted to charge me $100 to come out to just look at it. The 1 year warrenty was over. Glad to have a neighbor that works in landscaping and showed me the problem for free and it only costed me 50 cents. That's right and I could not be happier.
I had this problem, too - the diaphragm in the zone valve which was always on needed to be "reset". I opened 2 valves to see if I could detect a difference between a functional valve and the one which ran continuously and discovered the diaphragm problem. I gently pushed it down, reassembled the valve and everything worked normally after that. It got forced into an "open" position when I turned the water on too quickly and as a result, the solenoid was not able to control this valve properly.
My system will not turn on this spring. The past two years I have had to replace my main valve but it survived this winter. I try to do a manual watering and nothing happens. There is a flashing icon but not sprinklers pop up in any of the three stations.
Could you damage your sprinkler if you leave the Timer set to go (say overnight) but you shut off the supply of water? Is there any way this could damage the sprinkler head, the electronics, or anything else?
This is a good review, certainly better than the manual. I have a solenoid that I think is bad. If I disconnect the solenoid, and if the Pro-C is signaling the valve to open, what should the voltage drop across the two wires that would normally feed the solenoid be? Is it AC or DC?
Its off ,yet the water still runs..the diaphragm was replaced last year and the valve looks good. What could it be so? I dont buy unnecessary parts? does anyone know? TY
My system too does not turn when i try to run it, it may have had a power surge or lightening strike, are there any tests to check whether the solenoid is bad or short in wiring, would i need to change the controller or is it possible to buy parts, any advise on this ?
How do I remove all waterings for manual times. My system is set to run on odd days as desired, but then it continues to water over again. I am still doing something wrong to remove all manual times.
I have a sprinkler system like the one above, all a sudden one station is running on its own no matter if the system is off or running, even when i select another station to run, that station still running together with the station selection, I am not sure what could be the problem, or how to fix it, any idea?? please write me back
Sorry to reply so late. I had this problem several months ago. My irrigation guy had to dig up one the boxes buried in the yard that contains the control and wiring for that problem station. He replaced the parts in the box. It's been fine since.
When i try to program it, i push + when the day is flashing, but no water drop appears, it remains blank , if i push - the water drop and in a circle appears.
Ok, another question. One of the sprinkler heads, that I've noticed, over sprays totally missing where the water is needed. How can that be solved....dah! LOL I'm sure it's something simple.
ill have my sprinkler system set at 6 am. After it runs through all the stations and finishes. i would say 15 minutes will go by and it will start all over again to sprinkle. And it will go on for like a ridiculous 45 minutes per station. And I only have it set to sprinkle once a day. Do you know what the problem may be ?
@@bonniegarbarini7980 I know this is an olddd comment but I have the same problem. I've cleared all the other programs B&C and they still turn on somehow.
Had a sprinkler guy come out and check the wiring. He played with the wires and the zones came back. Last week the zones disappeared again. I've got someone coming out next week.... I can update once I find out what's wrong.
+Simmy Massiv: One of the modules isn't inserted correctly. You may want to unplug, remove and re-insert the module and then reset your controller. Repeat this until it works. It did for me.
"easy way to activate all stations is to hold down the right arrow" are you kidding me, how in the hell are we supposed to know that, it's not even on the cheat sheet ie the quick start instructions, dumb I tell you
Hillbilly music should not be on when oral instructions are given. Common sense! Very annoying Hillbilly music drowns out very poor attempt to give oral instructions on how to operate incredibly difficult system. Hunter Pro C instructions need a complete written overhaul. You need a new tech writer!

+GlenKennedy No, but you may also want to turn the controller off too. Just in case it is already on when you turn the water back on.
how do you keep it on becouse mine is clear on the screen.

+d3mon: It's in interval mode. Read the door card.
when i try to do a single manual run it doesnt turn on

my system starts but wont advance to the next station, it says delay with a time showing of :58. How do I remove the delay? Thanks
+Michelle Harris: You don't. There's probably a reason that it's there.

YOU NEED TO USE ONLY ONE PROGRAM AND CLEAR THE RUN TIMES FROM THE OTHER TWO PROGRAMS. USE PROGRAM A AND CLEAR THE TIMES FOR B AND C

Stations 4 through 6 have disappeared from my system. Anyone got an easy way to add them back in? I can't find info on this anywhere.
Mine as well...did you ever get an answer?

So, almost two years and I have never had this fixed. Where are these modules located? Thanks
They are located behind the facepack. They are the black things with the screw terminals.
did u find a manual ? we've lost ours also
We've misplaced our manual can u help me?
How can I turn program C off? Thanks!
Great Demo...Lost owner's manual and door instructions have washed off.
does not include how to discontinue or deactive interval watering..
Informative except did not show how to get to the battery which consumers need to know because we are afraid of breaking something. :(
