After his dance/house flip on 1954 popular song “Mambo Italiano” by Bob Merrill and Dean Martin, Italian dj & producer NRD1 presents a rework of “Pedro” by iconic singer Raffaella Carrà, published in 1980 and 2x gold award in Italy achieved in 2009 and 2022 when viral on TikTok with 50M+ views.
The lyrics are about a funny love adventure of a tourist in Santa Fe with the boy Pedro, first as a guide and then a lover. The melody is the rhythmic version of “Siciliana”, composition in Johan Sebastian Bach’s “sonata per flauto BMV 1031”
NRD1 is a multiplatinum Italian DJ and producer who has been active in the music industry since 2012. His passion started at a young age and it began with the cover of Lykke Li “I Follow Rivers”, to then continue with his project Shanguy (multiplatinum) and Kanu.
NRD1's music is heavily influenced by his love of house, electro and progressive genres, which he blends together to create unique and energetic tracks.
