  • Hopefully this relieved any stress some of you may have about trailering. Its takes some time for you and your horse to get it all together to where you can just load up and go, but its awesome when you do!

    Thank you for this video!!! My animal prefers a stock trailer because it is so open. It was great to find a loading video that involved a stock trailer. 😁

    If you haul a small 2x4 on your side rail, you can use it to wedge your door open without any help, or looking for something off hand

    My trailer has a rod that you can put down to hold the door open! It's been shown that most horses perfer to ride facing the rear!

    Out of curiosity, if you were loading two horses in here, would you load the second horse and tie on the same side in front of other horse or would you tie on the other side so they are side by side?

    • @MTHorses
      @MTHorses  Рік тому +1

      I tie them side by side! Load the second one in, turn to face the door, tie, then whatever squealing happens after i shut the door, happens lol.

    Is it dangerous to tie them up in the trailer. I’m going to pick up my new horse about 7 hours away with our stock trailer. She has NEVER been in a trailer. I’m nervous about this. Should I tie her up or let her move around?

    • @hook86
      @hook86 3 роки тому

      It is less dangerous than leaving them untied if it is a shorter trailer. Better to restrict the movement a bit IMO
