Yeah he's human now, but this video was made during the time of Demon Scorpion. Just like Goku vs Superman was made before BOG and later the rematch was made afterwards. Doesn't mean that Scorpion can't win now that he's human. Ryu would just have a better shot that's all.
Oh and BTW, the reason why I disabled the comments on my Gaara vs Toph is the same reason why +MaxOfFewTrades disabled his on some of his reaction videos. We got too many death threats and for me, racial slurs. I don't mind a good debate but some of those comments stepped over the line.

In Dragonball, gods are pretty weak, considering that King Kai was killed by Semi-Perfect Cell's explosion and even the Supreme Kai's were no match for Buu. In God of War, the Olympian Gods did show more power, but still could be killed fairly easily by Kratos. If i can something more about this cool fight: Scorpion used one of his weapons {Katana} during the fight, which i assumed he made some fatality deep cuts. While Ryu has fought fighters with weapons before {i.e. Eagle and Rolento} and is tough enough to survive impalement, what's to stop him from bleeding out? Add the Hado and the Nothingness to this; if Scorp didn't finish him off, he would have simply die from exhaustion and/or excessive bleeding. Also: Scorp could've easily ported him to a lava pit {Boomstick brought this up} or Transformed into the giant Scorpion and sting/impaled/eviscerated him to death. Great vid as always.

However given that Scorpion can teleport, coupled with the fact that Ryu is constantly trying to hold down his dark side and therefore has little experience with the Raging Demon, the odds of him succeeding are slim at best. This is more or less just like Kratos Vs Spawn. Kratos had the Blade of Olympus, which technically could kill Spawn, but he used it wrong and went for the heart instead of the head. When all is said and done, it was a half-human against someone who wasn't human anymore. Same with Ryu and Scorpion. Ryu put up an awesome fight and there's no shame in that.
+595moore a lot of people dont seem to understand how evil ryu works, once in this form he stays in it, the dark hado consumes him, so if ryu felt in trouble or in danger the dark hado would come out and in this form hes more durable than scorpion since bullets bounce off of him and he could already survive being in a island size explosion hes not gonna bleed out, and evil ryu has a teleport so no lava dips and evil ryu doesnt get tired since hes not human anymore , hes giving up his humanity, also evil ryu beat shin akuma, which is an even more powerful version of akuma that could destroy meteors! scorpion even in hell has never shown to be this powerful, and scorpion is immortal but not indestructible so ryu could blow him away with any of his supers really, also scorpion has been killed in the neitherrealm by liu kang and was also beaten by raiden and if we use current scorpion, hes not even a revenant anymore so ryu would stomp him even harder
Evilest Ryu Keep in mind that Ryu constantly fights to keep the Dark Hadou from consuming him. And it's because of that internal battle that he's lost against Bison, Ken and Oro. It was even stated in the video. And don't take that exploding island scene out of context. We only see Ryu facing off against Akuma in an unknown location in a cave inside a volcano. Then we cut to a scene of the volcano exploding. We don't know where they are nor can we assume they were at the center of that explosion. For all we know, Ryu was already running for cover during the eruption. Certainly Ryu would have a better chance now that Scorpion has be restored as a human but this Death Battle was during Scorpion's demon phase so the results are valid.
Never said Scorpion was indestructible. However, the trick is defeating Scorpion BEFORE his power rises in Hell to a point in which he's unstoppable. Ryu didn't have much of a chance with his limited store of ki, which he burned through with the Raging Demon and the Power of Nothingness. You saw how exhausted he was. And the environment in Hell probably didn't help. In the MK reboot, Sub Zero's ice powers didn't help him and he got incinerated.
