@@ricktoq Thanks, but I partly blame my 8th grade history class. On a mock test, the quest was what happened when someone was burned at the stake and one possibly answered was that the choir would sing. During the review, when the tea her read that, the class just started singing "burn, baby, burn"

But I understand that most people think Tigerstar is more evil.

I personally think Darktail is a very relatable villain. Tigerstar, Brokenstar and Hawkfrost, all wanted power for the sake of power. Darktail however, wanted vengeance because his father was too much of a coward to call him his son. Mapleshade is very relatable villain as well, because every major character in her novella is a jerk.

I think Thistleclaw should’ve been a bit higher up on the list, because in Spottedleaf’s heart, he’s basically a child predator, which is SUPER evil, but hey! Apart from this minor thing, I totally agree with this list! I’m glad you included lesser known villains like One Eye too, because when I read DOTC, he was such a cool, interesting villain!

I know. When he gave everyone a mark on their paw pads I had to put the book down. I’m Christian, and with the fact prey and cats got these weirds sores on them, I immediately thought of Revalation. Basically, it seemed like The Erin’s where making illusions to Revalation and One-Eye is the Antichrist.

Every cat on the list seems to have justified reasons, I know that they’re not REALLY good reasons to kill a cat or want to take over a clan but it just seems reasonable for them to be evil.
Tigerstar’s father left him when he was a kit to be a kittypet, and I mean that itself could mess someone up a lot.
Thistleclaw’s ambition was influenced by Mapleshade and his grief turned into anger when Snowfur died.
Mapleshade was kicked out of her clan, watched her kits die, and then got rejected from Riverclan, they didn’t even want to bury the kits near their deceased clanmates.
I think the most evil cat has to be Brokenstar from the moment he was born he was evil and he gave no reason on why he was like that. He had a loving father yes, and Lizardstripe wasn’t the best mother I get that. Lizardstripe and her kits didn’t have an influence really on Brokenstar because he was already born with evil intentions and strong emotions. All the other villains seem pathetic compared to him, because they only are driven by usually grief or anger which honestly is getting old.
I just finished Shattered Sky and Darktail is legitimately terrifying and torturous. I agree with you about the Blazing Star, too

To me I don’t feel like he is necessarily evil, but a narcissist with a huge ego. He cared about his territory and the power of his Clan, but he was heartless to most cats too. To me that sounds a bit more narcissistic than evil. And he started to get better later on in the series, as he deeply cares about his new mate and his Kits. But I completely respect your opinion, and I used to think he was evil myself, actually.
Ashfur didn’t try to kill the kits because of love... it’s because squirrelflight stole his hairspray...

I can't remember well, but in Leafpool's Secret Yellowfang confirms that the reason Brokenstar was evil was because he was raised by a cat who hated him. Starclan can't make some cat automatically evil- but they understand how things will turn out when there's no other choice. Brokenkit literally had to beg to be fed, and Tigerkit was fed with dark thoughts by Mapleshade and Thisleclaw.

The way you describe Tigerstars "evilness" really impresses the notion on me, that the list was more about the most violent villans, than the most evil cats - You can be evil and still follow the rules, in this case it even made more sense for him, since he wasn't bent on destroying the clans in his lifetime, but wanted to lead all of them. If he didn't gain leadership the "right" way, he would quickly be leader of no clan once they banded together under him, since they wouldn't trust in his leadership. (I really got into that more than I should have, lol)

Kelly Li You can understand a murderer? Idek if this is a joke, but if it isn’t, all Mapleshade did was kill, kill, and kill some more, for not reasons that are really justified.

Jay_ Wingzz_ not try to start a fight but here are my reasons why I feel bad she was kicked out of tc tried to go to her mate for help when she tried to explain what happened Apple desk cut it off and made it sound like she meant to kill the kits and Apple dusk got to stay and she had to Leave she didn’t even get to say goodbye to her kits Just my opinion

I like her too, but I hafta say I like Tallstar more in terms of any character, my favorite villian is probably Sol
She is not a villain her kids died and her husband abandoned her and said it was all her fault that they were dead it wasn’t her fault she couldn’t get them in time!

Even though he still got to go to StarClan, I think Clear Sky/Skystar could’ve been a good villain. He rejected his own family members, set up extreme borders, and even made to Clans go against each other. Similar case with Onestar

BrokenStar was abused AND neglected by LizardStripe, his foster mother.
Some say he despised every cat around him because of this.
MapleShade carried out her vengeance against the 3 cats who indirectly/directly killed her kits. MapleShade tried to save her kits, they were her whole life when they were alive. Then, Maple has hallucinations of her deceased kits, this event made her want to make it up to her kits.

But, you know, if Ashfool succeded...
Shaplemade was exiled, lost her kits and her mate broke up with her. She killed three cats and ended up in the DF. She killed cats who responsible for the death of her kits and her exile. and her mate.
Ashfool didn't have any dead kits, lived in Thunderclan, but teamed up with a riverclan cat to kill his own leader, then tried to burn three cats alive because their mother and his niece used to hang with him for a week to make her bf jelaous. He went all yandere and tried to murder four guiltless cats just for sake of taking pleasure in Squirrel's suffering. That would be more evil if he succeded and killed them.
Mapleshade herself played a massive role in kits' deaths as well, literally being the one who made the kits swim across dangerous waters in the first place.
@@briangriffinfan_numbah1 They were literally swimming in the river the day before. The only reason Appledusk had to save one was because one got tired. They literally could swim. So she assumed they would be okay. If you blame mapleshade, I hope you also blame Bluestar for Mosskit's death.
@@frostdragon64 - They could swim, but only vaguely. They were obviously not going to make it safely across a swollen river, especially unaided (Mapleshade swims behind them).
@@briangriffinfan_numbah1 You do know the only reason the kits didn't make it across was because a dam up the river broke and the area was overwhelm while they were swimming across. They didn't drown because they couldn't swim, they drown, because they get swept away by the massive swell of water. Mapleshade only made it herself, because she was pulled out of the water.
@@letb5569 - The flood was visible, Patchkit even points it out. Mapleshade could've at least attempted a safer alternative, such looking for another route across, or waiting out the storm somewhere.
I don't think Sol is actually evil....He's just angry and hurt and I think it's not his fault he had such a sucky life.
My little sister is watching this. She hasn't read Sunrise. I indicated a space about five feet around and told her how it ended. Hollyleaf darted around slashing at Sol from every side while Sol flailed at random shadows. Wow, Sol. You are SUCH a good fighter.
I don't fine mapleshade evil she just wanted vengence for her kits,Appledusk cheated and lied to her,frecklewish watched her kits die in a river,and Raven something spilled her secret and made it so she was banished she had her reasons and she never told anyone birchface was her mate frecklewish just assumed it and told everyone else also it seemed like by killing those three cats she was somehow freeing her three kits

No, she was evil and knew what she was doing. It says right in her own book that Mapleshade planned Freckle, Raven and Apple's deaths. How was she not evil? This comment makes no sense. Do not say she isn't evil just because you sympathize with her. You can have sympathy for a villain, but that doesn't make her innocent. A bad past doesn't excuse what she's done. She knew what she was doing.

I agree with your list, the sad thing is that Mapleshade is my favourite character, I mean, yes she was super evil, but she did it all for her kits no hesitation... how many more mothers could you find that’ll do the same thing for her kits?
Scourge is more evil than Tigerstar. Scourge made a whole clan from a lie, which then eventually became true. He killed Tigerstar and took one of Firestar's lives, and he is also no bigger than an apprentice.

Ashfur in The Broken Code: I shall use this young Shadowclan apprentice to kill the a-hole who stole my love, then turn the clans against each other which then I'll kidnap the daughter of the legendary dorito so I can be with her finally. (I honestly see Ashfur as a yandere for Squrrielflight.)
In my opinion, Rainflower should've gone to the dark forest due to child neglect, but hey, Ashfur tried killing an entire family but went to Starclan
