crane doesn't hate CG the law was only for cv and cop's now it was fixed to care ooc about the crim in every new law because the were rping that crim were bad and pushing every rule to be against the crims
@@cheesys8706 Since some people are going to conflate IC with OOC, I'll say this for the weirdos, I'm talking about MR K IN THE CITY - IN CHARACTER - when I say this: His perspective about Crane was 100% right, IC. Everything K has experienced in the city since coming back from Guatemala has been negatively impacted by Crane, or at least that's what was told to him. Crane was to blame for his business being denied, Crane was blamed by Max, Siobhan and others for certain decisions that affected him over the course of the last few months, and Crane was pointed at regarding city laws that changed and affected Ramee, K and the rest of the crims in the city. HE ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, IN CHARACTER, has been placed as the SOLE CAUSE of WHY the city is in the state that it is. I get it, there are things that are OOC impossible for him to do, like the businesses, and he even said it during their conversation. However, K approaches everything from an in-character POV until he can't any further, which is how it should be. So when Crane says "there's announcements, and people are told when things happen" when he's actually referring to Discord posts, that's why K doesn't know, because he likely doesn't look at it. K has said repeatedly for years, he doesn't look at anything regarding GTARP after his stream ends. So yes, his negative impression of Crane is COMPLETELY accurate and makes sense.
Ruby got so offended when mr K was telling her literally the same thing crane is saying, I like Ruby ( assistant chief ) but her saying they should be able to call a lawyer to “confirm” their charges is pretty disappointing
@Magictonay they should be going through chain of command before seeking a lawyer, primarily because there's no d.a or prosecutors established in the city.. so go through to Sergeant then Captain or Sherriff, then commissioner..

A man going down the wrong path doesn't make him a bad man. He just may not know it and needs to be told. Crane was going down the wrong path thinking it was right. He didn't have perspective nor the full scope of established actions. He has said himself that he/character is a stubborn person so unfortunately it takes a lot to skew his thoughts. It's why I think this arc was cool. They got a old stubborn man to see and understand another perspective which is leading to changes.
If he was the one deciding most of those extremely harsh laws it was a very risky position to take even for an rp character because it gets to a point where if your rp is negatively effecting someone else's to the point where they cannot play it shouldn't be allowed. its borderline power-gaming and a very slippery slope but i also heard it wasn't him actually deciding for those law changes and couldve possibly been the state not 100% sure though.
Yeah but he also chose not to be more in touch with the people and chose not to actually work sanny or anything to figure out how things really are with his own eyes. They had to kidnap him and interrogate him in order to get here. Let’s not act like he’s all innocent “oh he just didn’t know”

Crane has always been a good one but like K said I think he was just disconnected to what’s been going on this time around on his high horse to much sometimes even
I understand why cops call judges, they don’t want any mistakes, as if there’s mistakes, it will make them look like terrible cops, Buts it’s RP, Give the defending lawyers or crims a chance to fight their case, When you already got a judge’s opinion, there isn’t really point of going to court,
Truth is everything in no pixel could be fixed with OOC meetings but the only meetings that ever happen is private PD meetings. It also dont help that K wont ever attend many meetings or go on things like Blau podcast to share his feelings. Most people arnt opening K streamers to see concerns and make changes Kebun and CG need to actually be going to these people and discussing changes. Doing it in character is always awkward or hard to find the way of it making sense.

Also nobody from CG has ever really talked to him about there grievances until now. Kinda unfair to just expect Nathan to watch Mr.Ks stream to hear his take.
He's Head of DoJ. The buck stops with him. Even now he's tellings cops to stop asking judges about charges when all he needs to do is instruct every single judge (as Head of DoJ) to no longer talk to the cops about charges or they'll be suspended and repeated offenses will have them removed.
every time a cop goes to a judge mid interrogation it should give the person a chance to challenge the court after. it turns it into chinese court but with less organ harvesting
Everyone wants to blame crane but them holding him hostage made it obvious that nothing was brought to him, it was just supposed to be fixed by him magically.
Not enough judges for that, not the PD's place to talk directly to judge anyways... you'll never see them jumping that many steps in real life, they have lawyers for a reason, keep one on retainer to interpret the law. Why would a judge conflict himself and tell them how to do their job.... ignorance of the law isn't an excuse for crims, why is it for the pd that are supposed to know it?
And then the cases never get presided on and since this is a guilty until innocent server (it is, you're given a fine and time and then you have to prove your innocent to get your fine back, but you never get compensated for your false imprisonment time), people will just always lose. What they should do is simple, cops and defense lawyers should not be able to talk to Judges about active cases. Right now lawyers don't (in fact what you see more often is criminals like Ramee talking to judges and those judges proceeding to tell cops what was talked about so it can be used as an admission of guilt), but cops are literally cheating by talking to judges about case BEFORE the case so they can win the case. It's BS.
Crane ain't a villain, CG haven't been able to get a good time to talk to him. He isn't the most accessible character, because he's a bit of a reclusive idiot.
The real question is will Mr K and CG start acting right after they found out they have been acting like a bunch of dumb asses by not following the correct process either... Because if they never do then they can't say that process doesn't work because it's literally NEVER been used even once...
Was funny af to me that 3 different criminal orgs were all like " da feck is that?" when crane / max mentioned the civilian oversight board. Literally clueless to its existence. Then you have cop chatters focusing in on max / crane saying it has never been used. Crim: We have an oversight board? Since when? Max/Crane: For months but no one has used it Cop chatter: Crims can't read! lmao would appear to me an obvious reason people haven't used the oversight board is they literally had no idea it was available. I mean its not like the PD would recommend to civs to approach it XD
