I played jazz and swing in Chicago for 8 years and rarely did I come across musicians who were this talented. Incredible! Is there any thing this lady can’t play?? Let me answer that. No! :)
I can hear my director now telling her to clean up that triple tonguing . Amazing, can't believe I am just now finding out about this incredible woman who is inspiring me to practice again after a 50 year absence from my tuba. I'll be following you Gunhild, the rest of my days. Please come to Asheville. Bluegrass reigns here.
Makes me smile! Granddaughter will learn this by me . Thank you incredible ladies and wonderful family! I am an old musician. I appreciate you so much ! I played too in the way back. It's a unique beautiful sound. Blessings
Another great video from Gunhild and the Carling gang!! This tune is deep in my heart and memories. The tune I played drums too on my first public stage performance in 1965 when I was 8 yrs old. Including a little solo on the last eight bars. Still swinging in 2022. Fan in TEXAS!!!!😊🤣💕💕
You have a good lungs Gunhild. I don't play wind instrument. But i think you got to have good lungs to deliver such volume of air continuously. But anyway thank you for another wonderful music. Yaaaaaahoooo
Bye Bye Blues reminds me of Theo Uden Masman and his band 'The Ramblers' of the 1950s... he finished every radio transmission with this blues while saying : "....MAAR, wij komen terug ... (BUT, we'll be back ...!). Excellent Idun, we would like to see her every sunday evening !!) ...
I've never seen and heard anyone playing a jazz solo on a wooden flute like this. Amazing!! Most people playing a wooden flute play very boring classical music. They should see this video: an eye-opener!!! And speaking about eyes: beautiful green eyes! :-) With a lovely voice!
Gunhild is as far as I know the only Artist playing a wooden Recorder Flute in Jazz. To get Jazz out of the well known starter Instrument is marvellous!
Marvelous, simply marvelous. Idun and Nanna make a great duet. Maybe I'll soon see Idun playing the trombone and Nanna singing....Nanna, I'm waiting😊😊😊
Wonderful job guys. Havent had a chance to hear you in a while. Its great to see the smiles and hear the talent that you generate. I love you guys more each time I visit. I would really love to meet you some time if your ever back in Texas. Hearing you play makes me want to be back on the road again........... Waylon and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas to all the Carling players.
Great singing & playing by all! However, Nanna, I prefer the sound of your straight soprano sax. The curved soprano looks cool though. I used to have a curved Yanagisawa soprano. I could never get sound I liked with it, and switched to a Yamaha.

I love the sax player. Idun reminds me of my daughter singing Minnie the moocher.

Gunhild plays really well and also the recorder. But classical music for the recorder is not boring, there is really beautiful music for it.
Alright, very good young lady. Nice voice. Like mother, like daughter.
And the same eyes!
Great performance. Thanks for the good energy. :)
Where does she find such talented kids? Geez, I love this woman. Amazing!

Merry Xmas 2019 and Happy New Year 2020 🎷
sensational. Idun was only about 11 yrs old there.
I read somewhere that Idun is also an actress in Sweden. Is this true?
I have never seen Nanna play tenor sax. I wonder why, is it so much more ”heavy” to play?
The word "pining" is pronounced with a long "i", rhyming with "shining".
I wanna hear " Minnie the moocher"
Never mind I found the video
The band is great but Idun is the whole freeken show.
😎👍
Gunhild you have very healthy lungs.
🥰👏👏👏👏👏
!!!!
This is not okay! This is not okay to Idun. we know, you kan play
Vad har jag skrivit för dumt nu då.
Nie Istanbul, tylko Konstantynopol.
It's a bit fast for me. I used to play it slower
The singer seems to be a mature 15 ..
サイドの女性サックスがなんか小さいシウレシマシタ
Bra blockflöjtsolo
Why the singer
Too fast
Jazz on a recorder and bending the notes... WTF?
