Time travel, doppelgänger, gag endings that are also canon because multiple timelines, etc. Blazblue is the Kingdom Hearts, nay the Sonic mythos of fighting games. It’s so convoluted it’s just insanely fun.
Something that I love about this MF is that he can be funny and friendly in the cutscenes but in gameplay he’s the most badass character in the game (in my opinion). When he screams “IT’S SHOWTIME” in his super, I feel hyped as hell and the VA makes a great work saying that phrase.
I love that he always manages to have pretty cool af landings catching himself, but they usually get interrupted by someone else flying into him right after. I do hope we get to see a lot more cool and badass moments for him so he isn't completely comic relief, but those times where he is comic relief are usually played off pretty well regardless
You know the one thing that sucks about this game (on phone devices) that these well beautiful chef kiss made cutscenes can’t be see on a phone the only thing that you can see are the dialogue and a black screen if these games came out on switch I would download or even buy theme all but unfortunately I don’t have a play station console or an xbox so I got to stick on a horrible phone style T~T
I'm glad Billy's the standout character. While ZZZ does become a cheescake fest like a lot of these gatchas from japan, Billy is still the main draw because of his overwhelming personality. He's probably one of my all time favorite videogame characters.
