Always have loved steelbooks, I agree wish they would make them for every movie! Just wanted to thank you Ronny for showing these off, I order some for mine and they're amazing and work really well. I plan on ordering more soon. Also was just curious, where do you fine a lot of your steelbooks? Do you shop around or have a go to site/store?
I only have 5 steel books but I definitely will be picking up these protectors the glossy looks great! Need to start collecting more steel books! Lol
Oh yeah, i love them!! Resellers make it frustrating but most steelbooks you can wait and get for insane deals. A lot I got for $8-$12 even got a few for $6. Marvel Steelbooks and some limited Editions are a real pain to get. Like Joker, you need to get them on release or you might over pay. It was perfect for Joker since I needed it for Flaws & Awes, perfect timing. haha

I use Malko protectors on many of my collectibles. Solid brand. For my steels I found some on Amazon from another company with thumb holes to help open them as they can be a pain. And as for the people scratching their books with these nor realizing there is a right and wrong side, we just can't help them. Common sense isn't to common.
Right, haha, since making this video I have found and prefer the Malko "1-tabs" especially for movies I re-watch more often.

Have you tried Retroprotection before? I'm about to buy cases to protect my 4K collection (non steelbook) and can't decide between Malko and Retro. Besides the slight sizing difference, the only other main difference I see is the centered locking tab. Thanks!
Nope, just MAlko and I love them. They do lock tight tho, so consider that.

I need some steel books I have a few dvds but that’s it
Is there a trick to getting the movie out of them? I'm about to pull a finger nail off! I don't know what else to do but get something sharp and flat to pull the tab out.
I've had a tab get stuck bad once, it ended up just being the angle it got stuck. If you have a flat plastic tool of some type, that could help ya.
These protectors look high quality, almost like tempered glass. You have yourself a heck of a collection of steelbooks. Just remind yourself to save a protector for The Last of Us 2. I am honestly ashamed to admit that The Last of Us 2 will be my first steelbook. I just hope the delay for the game doesn't include a cheapo version of the statue from the one advertised.

Yep, if you're not into Steelbooks, you wont get it. A lot of these are limited and impossible to get after release. So having casse that keeps them scratch free and looking great on a shelf is a hella nice bonus.

Nope, perfectly square. If yours is bubbling, you have to fold the creases better maybe, try running a cloth up and down the sides modeling it to the shape of the case
Ronny Haze yup I ended up Folding the flaps all the way in both directions and now they’re nice and square, thanks for the help man appreciate it. Also I recommend you buy a microfiber cloth online so every time you leave finger smudges on your cases just wipe them off.

can you take them out safely to use the discs inside to?
Yes, I seen a review where the person just slide them in and out letting the plastic flap scratch the case. Just fold it back gently and boom, no problem.
