Thank you so much. I recently, very recently, bought a kemper stage and a kemper power cab. I have been playing for over 40 years and now I get to have all those dream rigs. Your channel and advice is so inspiring. Love it! Gerrie from South Africa
Turns out the word I needed to be able to discern between overdrive I like, and overdrive I don't like, is whether or not it is soft or hard clipping. Interesting. My vocabulary just earned a word I've needed for about 15 years.
- soft shaper post stack can generate some harsh high frequencies when you´re playing in gig level. I´m really skeptical about putting gain based after the amp, since this can put the "tube original tone" in risk. - putting a tube screamer before a soft shaper (in pre stack) is the same as putting a tube screamer in front of a saturated amp (considering that the soft shapes saturates the amp when put before). well, that´s my 2 cents. amazing videos, as usual, guys, you´re runing the KPA comunity with style (nice hat) and valuable infos, and of course, TONES!
Hate to say it but, sounds like digital clipping is going on. Sure your levels weren’t too hot when recording this video? Maybe my ears are distorting...🤔🤷🏻♂️

Learning so much from your channel, awesome work!
Love these Kemper tips and tricks videos. Did you lower the S90s? Looks lower than mine.
"Salsa blend over overdrive" lmao love it.
HW what profiles are you using in this video?
Distortion Salsa! Right on brother. :)

TONE WARS heck yes!

Does this end up sounding different than hitting the front of a stack with a Pure Booster? Curious to try this out when I get home
The soft shaper reminds me of the effect i get with my bluesbreaker clone pedal. Thank you HW !
