Retro/Vintage boutique's are all the rage. My boy said if best that us gen X'ers are reaping the benefits of the hipsters wearing retro stuff "ironically". Ebay, pawn shops, flea markets, and Goodwill used to be the only places to cop this stuff, but just like everything with the age of the internet every grandmother decided that the dateline article stating her old car could be worth millions is in facto worth that much. I've been a retro video game collector for almost a decade and half of my collection consists of my original purchases as a kid from mom. I unfortunately was earlier than the hypebeast, yet a bit too late in the grand scheme of things to really snag any of the ridiculous deals og collectors came across before everyone decided to become nostalgic. It's cool that retro video game stores (as well as boutiques like this one) are propped up in every city now, however, most are technically EBay stores and really just expanded for a olace to keep all their stuff at, just happens to be setup for public purchases. With this comes ridiculously overpriced, eBay pricing. I pretty live and shop in the same area as you and Tward as my house is in Atlanta, right inside the perimeter so I intend to check this place out, but not to bash, my collection of cars, video games, comic books, magic cards, baseball cards, sneakers, and any normal "retro" item makes this place look average. Not boastin, just stating facts! With my aging and my collection of all this nostalgia getting out of control it's probably time for me to jump on this money train before this stuff fizzles out (then again, between Hollywood refusing to be creative and come up with any new ideas amd hipsters copying our old style there never be any new/original styles!) by opening my own store. With the recent passing of my father I've inherited a lot of commercial buildings that he owned so it seems best to take advantage. One last straight forward fact that's a little more directly related to this vid, the Olympic seats were made available to the public at some point in the late nineties after they ended as a friend from high schools mother who was a DM/RM for a chain of Dominos north of Atlanta (North Gwinnett) acquired a set exactly like the one in thos video as we would skip school and get lit sitting in them outside in his backyard!
