- Welcome to this Tenerife walking tour. Today we are going for a walk in Playa Paraiso, a small resort in Costa Adeje.
Paraiso’s Beach is located very close to another small village called Callao Salvaje, with which is very often confused.
Some say that Playa Paraiso is an up-and-coming resort, with very little to offer to its tourists right now. But Here you can find the popular Hard Rock Hotel, which is an impressive, 2-building, 4-star hotel. This is the 2nd Hard Rock in Europe.
If you decide to travel to Tenerife and stay in Playa Paraiso, it is suitable for the whole family. It has a calm, tranquil vibe, plenty of restaurants and shops. ANd it has a great connection to the more popular areas such as Playa de Las Americas or Los Cristianos through local buses or taxis.

The coziest place in the world!
Ah, yes, definitely. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to stay in. But if you like to see lots of people, and you like the buzz of busy towns... you'd be better in las americas, or costa adeje.
I stayed at the hard rock hotel February 2023 and am going back February 2024. It’s a nice little resort. Got enough bars , shops and restaurants to keep you entertained for a week or two. And it’s pretty clean and tidy. Brand new plaza area built up the road too.
I never saw the new plaza. It was pretty deserted back when I visited this little resort. It is quiet, indeed, and peaceful. I am glad you liked it there. And thanks for the comment!

Please can I ask how far of a walk to Los Cristinanos x
Hey Caroline. form Playa Paraiso to Los Cristianos? Nooo, you can't walk. It' way too far. With a car, on the highway, it takes about 5 - 10 minutes.
But there are buses, which are pretty frequent. So you can always jump on a bus and go to Los Cristianos. Orrr...just get an apartment in Los Cristianos directly :)
How far from Los cristianos?
roughly 10 minutes by car. Maybe less. Without a car, it is a bit far.
Is it more expensive to live in Los Cristianos?
Well... maybe the rent is a bit less, since it is not such a touristy place. But there aren't big supermarkets or lots of restaurants either. .... I stayed there for 2 weeks, and I had to get out because there was just nothing to do there.
