So I'm a Deadlock main, and I just wanna say that I dont really know what changes they plan on making, cause tbh, she's pretty good, just not for everyone. However, my guess would be maybe the sensors not breaking after one usage, like a Cypher trip, but I really don't know, that could just be my own wishful thinking lol

Honestly, I want to tweak her wall. Her Barrier Mesh is the clunkiest piece of signature in the whole game, where if you accidentally miss, you get punished for the whole round! Hearing that "Deployment Failed" or seeing that wall chilling on the rooftops, while also lasting for a shorter time than a Sage wall, and enemies prioritize destroying the center orb, it isn't really that great for a signature ability.
I'm a deadlock main as well. I think the part wherein the agents from your team as well as yourself should not be stun as well when the trip is activated and you are in the area of the trip. I had to constantly remind my team to not be too close to the area of sensors cos it just defeat the purpose of having an advantage on the map where you placed the sensor. The wall together with a smoke on eco round is really good specially on those sneaky defuses.
gifting can easily just be you buying skins that are in someone else's shop for them. basically just buying the skin for them on their account but much more safe
I think for neon they should slightly decrease the headshot accuracy and make sprinting while jumping slower. For harbor, i think a good change to his cove would be when the cove is placed it has an invincibility effect for a short period to ensure that the cove isn't going to be immediately destroyed while placing it. And for deadlock, her ult recall mechanic needs to be faster and the detection area of the ult needs to be larger.
If they do want to buff deadlock or sage , they should give them more to do in the attack side ,because tbh, they are not really bad on defence, i would argue they are sometimes better than cypher or kj on certain maps on defence. It's just that cypher and kj brings a lot of value on attack as well, where on attack, sage, and deadlock are just "dude with a gun" ...
Deadlock is actually pretty good after you get bomb down since it’s basically just playing defense and they HAVE to push you. And on executes you can throw the wall and net. She’s actually pretty good on attack, just unfortunate she cant hold flank
I agree for sage but Saying deadlock is bad in attackers side.🤭 It means you cant utilize her grabnet, wall and ult 😂. If your concern is flank, and your comp doesnt have dual sentinel comp then ask your controller to play behind and watch for flank. Since controller needs to be alive as long as possible. Her kit is made for aggressive play. 😂
I actually think sage is perfect rn. Her wall is her best feature and it can stop pushes or flanks, and you can use it to wall spike meaning an entire portion has to be destroyed before the defenders can defuse

Cypher, chamber, and kj just so happens to bring a lot of value on attack as well, so they are automatic pick over sage and deadlock for pro teams. And if they made deadlock and sage so good on defence that it was worth it to pick an agent who will be useless for an entire half of the game, they will become extremely oppressive on the chaotic environment on ranked or for normal players. And of all the duelist you could have picked, you picked jett, who is arguably the best duelist on the defensive side with an op. Even duelist are needed on the defender side for a retake and sentinels on the attack side for postplant. Duelist are not supposed to be purely attack side agent and sentinels are not supposed to be purely defensive side agents. Agents can have niche roles in places where their class are traditionally not needed. Yes, you can argue that deadlock is useful for postplant, but so is kj , so why not pick kj? Who is also useful on the attack side?
for deadlock i think they can fix the sound sensor placement accuracy because sometimes it doesn't get placed as you want or you can't see how is it getting placed %100 accurately

As a deadlock user, i think her trips could be more op. Because after using them it just dissappears maybe it can be like a cypher trip and u can redeploy the trip and it only disappears if you die/ gets broken.

The gifting system will probably only work for bundles that are in everyones shops that are being advertised, such as the current arcane bundle. Only bundles that get the main front of the shop
Make it so deadlocks sound sensors deploy her gravnet trap, or maybe increase the range so that the sound can reach through wall, maybe make it so her wall has like more HP or different shapes, anddddd yeah idk. I personally like deadlock rn but I do hope they touch on making her sensor better
I've personally coded on UE 4 and 5, and i believe, from my experience, that 5 is much easier to use for updating my games and doing it with speed. I think it will make slightly more frequent updates and in-depth interactions.

Harbour cove should stay as normal smoke after destroying the shield, so smoke will always last the same, just the shield can be destroyed, also the slow through the water wall should affect only enemies. Also some prices of his kit should be changed
Harbor most definitely needs a buff, maybe even a rework (God I hope not), but as a harbor main i really dont hope that they change the "spirit" of his kit. His style isnt bad, its execution is; Its one thing to make him stronger, its totally a different thing to give him the GGST Potemkin-from-XRD Treatment and change his playstyle near entirely

BUFF HARBOR. Make his walls punish those who push. Seeing a Harbor doesn't do that much like Viper's who can decay their health whoever pushes through it. Make the Slow effect harder.

I’m a harbor main I think of someone walks through on the map it should show there icon for like 4 seconds and slow them a bit longer and his cascades should last longer and if you walk through those you should be forced to crotch that would be cool but only for like 2 seconds
Just some inside, Unreal Engine 5 will not drop frames. Believe it or not UE5 is way faster and better optimized than UE4. If anything, you'll see a huge increase in performance. The only reason games that have been made in UE5 had performance issues was because they were cramming everything into visual fidelity. Plus, most of them used Nanite and Lumen. Neither of Which will even be useful in Valorant as Lumen is real time bounced lighting. Which Valorant uses Static baked lighting. And Nanite is virtualized geometry which wouldn't even be useful in Valorant as the meshes are low poly so it wouldn't make sense to use it. Other than that, UE5 sees a massive increase in CPU rendering which Valorant relies heavily on instead of GPU rendering. So, for all of you who think frames will drop, they won't.
Possible buff for deadlock is her sound sensor. I think it will follow cypher trapwire buff. Instead of disappearing when someone trip to it will deactivate for a few secs and activate again thats the buff i want. It hurts u know when Yoru clone activate your all your sound sensor set up hahaha.
They take way too long to implement small changes, kinda getting tired of the same, rank is so bad… almost more than a year to fix chamber and now neon is taking a year to fix. After spending thousands on skins I am quitting the game… it’s like they don’t care, remember actions speak more than words and they aren’t doing much

Deadlock is so versatile already, imo she doesn't need buffs but as a deadlock main I will always be happy when she does. I've done alot of theory crafting, concepts for buffs etc. here's some of what I came up with for deadlock buffs: (all individual buffs, if all of these are added she'd get nerfed like chamber in an instant, but worse lmao) Sonic sensor - Have the trips net instead of concuss, netting is one of, if not the best debuff in the game, seeing as gravnet is the most overpowered ability currently (tbh idfk why they're buffing her and not nerfing it :/) - Give her three trips, dont change anything about them - They aren't worth the 200 creds they are set as now, possibly 100 creds each or 150 - Concuss duration 3.5s >>> 4s (same as nova pulse, less than rolling thunder) + you get the added net debuff of the old gravnet, which was 6 second crouch not indefinite, 1 second pull off time and movement abilties can get out, etc. (current gravnet stays the same) Annihilation - FIX BUGS BRO, 9.09 MADE IT GET STUCK ON LEDGES MORE, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX IT LIKE WTF, MY ULT GETS STUCK ON SHIT MORE OFTEN THAN IT DID BEFORE - Having it catch multiple people would be overpowered, but have the ult give a debuff to anyone in the beam that isn't captured, this can be if they're displaced (in the ult but move out before it catches them), in the beam but someone else gets captured, or if someone is broken out of the ult (I believe this should give a debuff too). A debuff that would work might be netting anyone in it OR maybe decaying them? - Longer range (currently 40 meters, it's really hard to do lineups when its so short bro ;-;) and bigger radius of beam and sphere - Have it capture an enemy faster, when you fire the beam after a short cooldown it will have a pulse go through it, this is why enemies at the end of the sphere can sometimes run out of it in time, if its an instant capture getting out of the range will be impossible Gravnet - Doesn't need a buff, but a cool buff i could see to make her a bit more initiator-esk (since she's supposed to be a sentinel x initiator, like clove is a controller x duelist) is that 1. Her net doesn't stop teammates and teammate utility anymore, e.g. raze boombot, alarmbot, thrash, yoru tp, clone, etc. and 2. for enemies it completely stops them or just breaks them, in the case of sentinel utility like turret, cypher cam, alarmbot (anything that deadlock net can hit (yes cypher cam can get hit)) they get turned off like the agent is supressed, but for utility like thrash and boombot they can still track and chase down enemies but it can't attack them, and same for yoru clone and tp, they will just break Annihilation rework idea?? - Not necessarily sure if it's a buff or nerf, you now get 2 (maybe 3) charges of the ult at once (you shoot it in 2 different spots), but the ult no longer kills, the time it takes for the ult to get to the end is increased by 5 seconds and if any of the players get to the end of the line they get netted like a gravnet, if they just get broken out, it's normal. It would have the same affect as the ult now where they enemies will want to break eachother out but it won't be too op as if it still killed Deadlock rework overall (this was in a discord conversation lmao, just copy pasted) - In early concept art for deadlock, it shows the equip animation for the gravnet being her spooling the nanowire into the nade. What if, as a buff, you give her the second net, but after a like 20 second cooldown, you can reload the net with more nanowire to use it again, and it would make a sound q, like how they made iso shield make a really loud noise when you first equip it. OOO What if they did this with all her utility, but you only have one spool to recharge, so after a 20 second cooldown you can choose one piece of util to reload, but you cant do it to a second piece if util. That is a really cool idea actually, im so big brain That would be like the perfect buff Congrats me Enjoy lmao
The reason i see behind waiting so long ist, that turkish acc get skins cheaper :) so if a turkish acc is gifting u some skins its nice for u, but not for Valo. Thats why they maybe also nerfed this system a lot in the past, where the turkish points u get, are lower then back in the days i think
upgrade to UE5 wont change graphics at all because its up to them how the game looks, they just want UE5 features, tools, plugins etc. probably making a val version of an MMO

maybe if you get close enough with deadlock trip it activates, that way its useful on some tight flanks like doorways

Make harbor's cove still exist even after the bullet proof layer goes off. or a fully bullet proof 14 sec smoke is quite nice. much needed buff ngl.
I would love if Harbor got a similar treatment to Phoenix and switch High Tide with Cascade. You mostly use High Tide once per game :p

BUFF HARBOR. Make his walls punish those who push. Seeing a Harbor doesn't do that much like Viper's who can decay their health whoever pushes through it. Make the Slow effect harder.

I’m a harbor main I think of someone walks through on the map it should show there icon for like 4 seconds and slow them a bit longer and his cascades should last longer and if you walk through those you should be forced to crotch that would be cool but only for like 2 seconds
Just some inside, Unreal Engine 5 will not drop frames. Believe it or not UE5 is way faster and better optimized than UE4. If anything, you'll see a huge increase in performance. The only reason games that have been made in UE5 had performance issues was because they were cramming everything into visual fidelity. Plus, most of them used Nanite and Lumen. Neither of Which will even be useful in Valorant as Lumen is real time bounced lighting. Which Valorant uses Static baked lighting. And Nanite is virtualized geometry which wouldn't even be useful in Valorant as the meshes are low poly so it wouldn't make sense to use it. Other than that, UE5 sees a massive increase in CPU rendering which Valorant relies heavily on instead of GPU rendering. So, for all of you who think frames will drop, they won't.
Possible buff for deadlock is her sound sensor. I think it will follow cypher trapwire buff. Instead of disappearing when someone trip to it will deactivate for a few secs and activate again thats the buff i want. It hurts u know when Yoru clone activate your all your sound sensor set up hahaha.
sage should be able to heal herself for 10-20 more and she’ll be perfect
They take way too long to implement small changes, kinda getting tired of the same, rank is so bad… almost more than a year to fix chamber and now neon is taking a year to fix. After spending thousands on skins I am quitting the game… it’s like they don’t care, remember actions speak more than words and they aren’t doing much

Deadlock is so versatile already, imo she doesn't need buffs but as a deadlock main I will always be happy when she does. I've done alot of theory crafting, concepts for buffs etc. here's some of what I came up with for deadlock buffs:
(all individual buffs, if all of these are added she'd get nerfed like chamber in an instant, but worse lmao)
Sonic sensor
- Have the trips net instead of concuss, netting is one of, if not the best debuff in the game, seeing as gravnet is the most overpowered ability currently (tbh idfk why they're buffing her and not nerfing it :/)
- Give her three trips, dont change anything about them
- They aren't worth the 200 creds they are set as now, possibly 100 creds each or 150
- Concuss duration 3.5s >>> 4s (same as nova pulse, less than rolling thunder) + you get the added net debuff of the old gravnet, which was 6 second crouch not indefinite, 1 second pull off time and movement abilties can get out, etc. (current gravnet stays the same)
Annihilation
- FIX BUGS BRO, 9.09 MADE IT GET STUCK ON LEDGES MORE, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX IT LIKE WTF, MY ULT GETS STUCK ON SHIT MORE OFTEN THAN IT DID BEFORE
- Having it catch multiple people would be overpowered, but have the ult give a debuff to anyone in the beam that isn't captured, this can be if they're displaced (in the ult but move out before it catches them), in the beam but someone else gets captured, or if someone is broken out of the ult (I believe this should give a debuff too). A debuff that would work might be netting anyone in it OR maybe decaying them?
- Longer range (currently 40 meters, it's really hard to do lineups when its so short bro ;-;) and bigger radius of beam and sphere
- Have it capture an enemy faster, when you fire the beam after a short cooldown it will have a pulse go through it, this is why enemies at the end of the sphere can sometimes run out of it in time, if its an instant capture getting out of the range will be impossible
Gravnet
- Doesn't need a buff, but a cool buff i could see to make her a bit more initiator-esk (since she's supposed to be a sentinel x initiator, like clove is a controller x duelist) is that 1. Her net doesn't stop teammates and teammate utility anymore, e.g. raze boombot, alarmbot, thrash, yoru tp, clone, etc. and 2. for enemies it completely stops them or just breaks them, in the case of sentinel utility like turret, cypher cam, alarmbot (anything that deadlock net can hit (yes cypher cam can get hit)) they get turned off like the agent is supressed, but for utility like thrash and boombot they can still track and chase down enemies but it can't attack them, and same for yoru clone and tp, they will just break
Annihilation rework idea??
- Not necessarily sure if it's a buff or nerf, you now get 2 (maybe 3) charges of the ult at once (you shoot it in 2 different spots), but the ult no longer kills, the time it takes for the ult to get to the end is increased by 5 seconds and if any of the players get to the end of the line they get netted like a gravnet, if they just get broken out, it's normal. It would have the same affect as the ult now where they enemies will want to break eachother out but it won't be too op as if it still killed
Deadlock rework overall (this was in a discord conversation lmao, just copy pasted)
- In early concept art for deadlock, it shows the equip animation for the gravnet being her spooling the nanowire into the nade. What if, as a buff, you give her the second net, but after a like 20 second cooldown, you can reload the net with more nanowire to use it again, and it would make a sound q, like how they made iso shield make a really loud noise when you first equip it.
OOO What if they did this with all her utility, but you only have one spool to recharge, so after a 20 second cooldown you can choose one piece of util to reload, but you cant do it to a second piece if util.
That is a really cool idea actually, im so big brain

The reason i see behind waiting so long ist, that turkish acc get skins cheaper :) so if a turkish acc is gifting u some skins its nice for u, but not for Valo. Thats why they maybe also nerfed this system a lot in the past, where the turkish points u get, are lower then back in the days i think
upgrade to UE5 wont change graphics at all because its up to them how the game looks, they just want UE5 features, tools, plugins etc. probably making a val version of an MMO
