Yea, I think Nintendo's decision to delay Tears of the Kingdom and release it in a highly polished state really emphasized the importance of delivering a game that's refined from the start. So, I believe Bethesda is making the right call by taking some additional time to ensure a well-polished release.
To be honest, Bethesda did themselves no favors here by: 1. Starting on a planet instead of space 2. Picking an entirely grey-brown featureless planet (but with earth sky, making it appear bland instead of at least feeling moon-like). 3. Picking a completely grey generic dungeon with the same bandits/raiders/pirates from every game 4. Using only a perfectly normal shotgun and perfectly normal assault rifle, the two most generic weapons that exist Aside from two (second long) low-G jumps, The first 6 minutes of the video basically look like someone's mod for Fallout 4- and not a particularly interesting one at that. Looking at the video again it actually gets pretty great after that, but I honestly didn't remember any of this stuff. I'm not sure if it's because I actually stopped watching or just wasn't paying attention anymore. Some things in the direct are clearly actual improvements, but I think it's also just a much better showcase.

I just want this game to be completely finished when it comes out🙏I don’t even mind it if they delay it until 2024, let’s be honest, if this game comes without too many bugs and technical defects it could be one of the best games ever, I hope they realize it.
I hope there are higher alien beings you can assist like the daedric gods and receive a token of appreciation. There could litterally be anything out there, it's the most exiting aspect of a new ip
@~ShadowBanned~ fallout 76's release was quite awful, wont deny that. however, nowadays the game is a lot of fun. pretty much everything they promised it would be. definitely not everyone's cup of tea though
With the reputation Bethesda have built, it will probably be a buggy shit game on release. I have no hope for Bethesda anymore. I will never forget all the bs they pulled during the fallout 76 launch.
I want some planets to have a totally eerie and unsettling feeling. I like it when a location/setting creates a subtly mysterious and ominous atmosphere!
Sure a vast universe to explore sounds really cool, but I hope it’s not really repetitive copy and paste’s for all the planets. I’m not expecting every single planet to be entirely unique, I just hope there’s a large enough variety to make each planet feel fresh.
The mods are gonna make this wild. This will be a veritable playground for modders tbh. If it ends up being repetitive, I'm gonna hold off on buying it till the mod scene picks up. 'cause they'll flesh it out in a big way regardless.
Expectations need to be kept in check no doubt, IF this is true... this game could easily be bigger than arena, and isn't arena one of the biggest or the biggest game of all time, like 100 times the size of Skyrim? Too lazy to look hhaha
This game leans into the procedural. Considering how that always goes I can only hope the more designed stuff makes up for the repetition. I really want a strong scifi game so fingers crossed.
I really sync well with your comment. Once I realized how procedural tech worked, I could never find the fun in No Mans. Hope there is plenty of hand crafted stuff here, and it seems there just might be.
seeing how other Bethesda rpgs worked I can imagine that the planets will be filled with random encounters which should bring some life to them, I'm hopefull for some crashed ships etc
This game is like my childhood fantasy when I played the game Freelancer in 2000, when I dreamed I could land on every planet and explore on foot, I could walk in a spaceship. Dame can't wait to play this game
Star CItizen implements more features though.. and Starfield shamelessly copies some side quests from freelancer... and so far I found two random encounters which also are from there - magic school bus in space and a sightseeing traveller. Not to mention Freelancer's original main plot (before it was cut down along with planet visits)
Skyrim had an amazing soundtrack. Seriously, it was some of the most beautiful instrumental, orchestral music . Jeremy Soule did a great job. I used to listen to the music at night to fall asleep to.
I am already giving props to the modding community, cause I know they are going to have a fun time with this game and I am looking forward to see what they do!
It will be Thomas the Tank Engine's face on every space pirate/alien crab-thing/alien floaty-thing again... but also hopefully some very creative and well-done stuff.
@@ctw30002000 lol that's always a must have mod in the comedy department. Modders are gonna make this game absolutely amazing, because we all know it'll be mediocre at launch.
Imagine: You’re on a new alien planet. The great frontier. The possibilities of finding new land, new resources, new technology, maybe even intelligent alien life. You ready your pistol, prepare your space suit, and take the first steps off your ship. You scan the new terrain, and a human lifeform pops up. “Odd,” you think to yourself, “I thought this place was unexplored.” You approach, finally seeing the person. He’s a black male. He takes off his hat, speaking, “I’ve gotten word of another settlement that needs our help. I’ll mark it on your map.”
As others say: Take your time! Don't rush the release. Make sure above all that the storylines and quests are interesting and polished, and not too straight-forward. Exploring space should probably seem really mysterious.
I don't know if I agree. When games were small, it was easy enough with a couple of testers to wrap them up and release it, since there wouldn't be a possibility of updating them (I'm talking old games like Super Mario 64, that it is full of bugs, but only for someone putting the effort to find them, not for the average gamer). Right now, I'd say polish the main story line, ensure no game-breaking bugs are present on side quests and no save-game related or server connection issues that would prevent someone from playing. Outside of that, I'm fine with them polishing it on the go. If not, this game would stay in development for another year, then some crazy executive might want to add something more in it, and we would still get a mess in the end... IF we got something at this point (sometimes they just cancel the game altogether)
M'aiq's thoughts exactly. 😹 This one plans to wait for a Steam sale before picking it up. M'aiq wants to give the modders time to fix the undoubtedly many bugs that will most likely be ignored by Bugthesda. This one has faith in Arthmoor and his Unofficial Patch crew. M'aiq would not have invested tens of thousands of hours in Skyrim LE/SE or Fallout 4 without them. 😻
Looks pretty good. Concerned about the 1000 planets not being much more then just areas you go to when you need certain resources, but as long as that doesn't replace hand crafted environments in any way then it doesn't matter much to me.
I have no doubt there'll still be a few dozen hand crafted planets that will be more than enough to explore and give you that Bethesda world feel. Something a lot of people skip over is that all the other procedurally generated planets are basically an empty sandbox for modders. I personally believe this could become the most modded game in existence if everything goes right. Give it a few years and we could have every single planet meticulously hand crafted by a human.
@@SuperAdventureR1301 Agreed! Look what modders have done between Fallout 4 and Skyrim. And Bethesda could very well make a lot of DLC content for this game. The playground as indicated in this presentation, is gonna be huge! Lots of stories could be told.
Bethesda's games tend to be pretty dense, so I'm actually kind of intreagued by the prospect of them putting weird shit in the middle of nowhere, where no one will find it for a year at least.
I'm hoping for a combination really. Space is giant and most planets might be emptyish. Procedural generation would be cool for those. I'm hoping for lots of hand crafted though as well.
@@alexhein1738 Because this game aims to have a certain degree of realism. So, most planets won't have an atmosphere. This means most planets will also be icy or rocky. Doesn't mean there can't be interesting stuff on it (i.e. Pirate camps, caves with resources, abandoned facilities). But it does mean there won't be weather systems. This doesn't mean there won't be ANY planets with weather systems, but atmospheric planets will have to be less numerous than ones without. Life bearing planets will have to be rare and lush life bearing planets rarer still. This also makes sense from a design perspective; you make something cool or special through rarity. No Man's Sky has the issue of being boring because every planet is virtually the same, despite how differently they be in appearance.
Almost one year later revisiting this preview, I'm so glad that Starfield is a new IP from BGS. Taking elements what is best from TES and Fallout without having to worry about inheriting the aspects of what is not and what is of two previously mentioned title because good lord the UX from those games are ancient as city of Pompeii.
Started playing Fallout 4 a month and damn do I have some problems reading the inventory and map effectively (I do appreciate the idea behind the pipboy-on-your-arm idea though)
It's ripped off from Destiny and Fallout backgrounds and characters. Even the interface is Destiny. It's not a "new" property. They're just skinning old games, renaming them, and hoping their gamers have no common sense.
I’m so excited for this game, and I really hope this can be a win for Bethesda. I am curious though, can you actually make planetfall through atmospheric entry similar to reality? Or do you just cruise around through the void until you reach a planet/moon/asteroid/station etc and then select a landing zone and proceed to a load screen and then presto change-o you’re on the pad? Also, if that is the case I really hope there aren’t similar load screen barriers between solar systems as well.
Unfortunately as of right now there is no atmospheric entry unlike other games, but there still is a chance that they've changed this. I wouldn't really mind either way. Anyways if you wanna know more check out the showcase this sunday. They'll be showing off the game for almost an hour.
This looks really fun, though I will admit that while having hundreds of planets to land on and explore is all well and good, I'm kinda concerned about how much there'll be to do on those planets outside of the designated areas
Were probably generated with an AI to a degree with some neat places custom made to explore. Will possibly have quite a few DLC. Then ontop of that, Possibly Creation Club.
Its probably gonna be like No Mans Sky if its not a handcrafted area. They'll likely split up the better POIs on different planets & moons so that it gives you a reason to upgrade your ship.
I'm cautiously excited about this. Looks like No Man's Sky + Mass Effect + Fallout. Problem with games like this they tend to be buggy for a long time due to the breadth of the game you have RPG mechanics and story, structure building, space combat and flight mechanics, etc resulting in developers and QA spread too thin to fully test every area.
@Whoseitwhatnow Listen, I apologize for coming at you super hard about it, I'm just so, sooo very tired of all the cynicism directed towards Starfield. The game looks great and it's coming from a legendary RPG developer in Bethesda Game Studios, people act like FO76 is everything they've ever done, and always neglect to mention the fact that the core Maryland BGS team (Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4) have put out multiple RPG/GOTY titles back to back. It's like it's become the "Cool" thing todo no, is tohate on everything they do, even when itlooks fucking awesome like STarfield does. That's all I'm saying
@Tom O I'm used to Bethesda games being buggy messes for long periods of time. That doesn't concern me, as long as the gameplay is great and i get to make my own story I know I will love it.
No coping but i give 100% pas on aaa open world game bugs in first year of realise . There is billions of things that suppose to work perfectly at the same time . Who got it right? No one did ! I really care about the base building and the ship piloting. But the fact that I can pick a class and background makes me hope that Bethesda is making an actual RPG.
I think it's more of an rpg if you don't pick one. In that case when you create a character you can think about what would that character be, who he is, what's he good at, why he ended up here, create something unique. Always had that approach to elder scrolls and I felt immersed in rping every character I made. Classes and background take this freedom away from you partialy
@@maciej1201 Sure, but now you can have dedicated voicelines and a proper supported backstory in the actual game instead of just using the power of imagination :p
They didn't show any form of actual roleplay or dialog options. There may be extensive character customization, but after the last few outings, I have a feeling we can expect continued watering down of the roleplaying options.
My premium edition preorder just went through. So excited to get to play my legally not "tyrone" acquired game on August 31st. So excited. It's almost time
It was nice to see a stripped-down presentation of "this is the game we've made" without a lot of marketing speak and hype. Starfield looks like a ton of fun.
That was actually my favourite thing about the Skyrim E3 presentation lol. I felt hype long after I bought the game. Hell even today the game feels modern to me. Just a sleek interface overall
I look forward to the "How to build the Normandy SR2 from Mass Effect in Starfield" tutorial. Also LOVE the character customization! I am more of a fantasy enjoyer but things like that can convince me to pick up a gun.
@@spacekrian That would be a really funny Easter Egg. Have a certain disk or something you can buy in game that you can put into a computer and you have the ability to play the entirety of Skyrim. Kind of like how Doom Eternal let you play the classic Doom games.
But why did they have to make it look like a low budget Mass Effect colony? The similarities are frustratingly noticable. The ship...oh the ship...don't even get me started on that tin can looking thing....
I've still yet to see any skills or stats of any kind. They also didn't show how conversations work. And from what we saw backgrounds just give you 3 starting perks. So im left a little confused. A single player Bethesda Game Studios game doesn't come around very often. I'm gonna treasure this experience. Some of my all time best game experiences are from Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 & 4 - here's to another one, cheers fellas!

The horse and cart section screwed up every time, either flipping in the way, or reaching the end of the path and trying to continue into the wall. Usually the horse got stuck, but the trigger to start the game and have the characters get off the cart would never trigger. Eventually it was updated. The punt if my story is - Fallout 76 at least worked.. it was a decent effort for Bethesda
born to late to explore the world, born to early to explore the stars, born at the right time to play explorer simulations of both past and future... what a time.
This game has been "in the making" for 25 years whereas Star Citizen has been in active development for 11 years (unless you count 2010 which was pre-production), yet from what I can tell, it doesn't seem to have nearly as much depth or character as Star Citizen. Starfield doesn't seem to try to do anything innovative either. Some if not most of the systems they have in it seem to be just new versions of their old ones, with no big changes or overhauls. Hopefully it'll be a good game regardless, though, taking Bethesda's track record into account, it'll probably be a buggy mess with performance issues. Wouldn't be surprised if the modding community ends up carrying this one too.
There’s been no mention of the fairly significant graphical downgrade between this and the retail version. I guess it got buried under the mountain of other issues this game has.
I really hope that they continue to understand a vast majority of their players end up relying on mods... not because the games aren't great, but because some fans think of stuff they don't. So I truuuuly hope they have left it quite accessible for modders!!
@@helldronez After the last few years I'm never gonna buy into the hype...I''ll be looking at legitimate reviews and make a decision then. We as consumers need to stop pre-odering these games lol
I prefer quality over quantity. NMS has a lot of planets but they have so much similarities between all of them. Its randomly distributed assets. Hand made planets will all ways look better and more unique. (well at least with the current ai capabilities in games)
Imagine waiting 12 years for a game like Star Citizen to be released, only to have a nearly identical game released while your dream game is still in "beta".
I'm most impressed by the actual alien looking aliens and realistic landscapes. I think this game is going to be good especially if it has proper mod support. Edit: you would think my comment was a no brainer but I'll spell it out slowly for the low IQ crowd being smart Alecs down below.. Humanoid and dog aliens in media are boring, it's nice Bethesda is making creatures that look different. I've seen SO many REAL aliens I know what I'm talking about.
I hope nothing changed to their stance regarding modding. Skyrim and Fallout 4 are so incredible moddable and have such a longer life span than any other Singleplayer games because of it.
That settlement building system looks way better than Fallout 4's.. maybe now we'll be able to have buildings without grass coming up from the ground or weird gaps where things don't fit right due to the shape or terrain. Ship building looks pretty sweet too.
The building system in FO4 had its flaws but certainly also its own charm. The crazy structure you could build... Downloaded a mod to have unlimited objects in settlement and built some awesome megabases. Ahh the good times. I would also end up dumping more time into building than playing the story or doing quests.
@Lance in FO4 all you really had to do was create a base layer where every foundation would clip together at the same height to avoid problems later on. There were many little tricks you had to know to make things fit properly though. But i guess that difficulty and imperfection was part of the fun
With 1000+ planets and the ability to make outposts, it makes me think there is going to be a lot of resource collecting. I find it hard to believe that most planets will have more to do than gather resources aside from cities and key quest locations. I hope this isn't the case because I always enjoyed going through every inch of Bethesda maps since they always rewarded you for exploration with cool encounters. I am looking forward to seeing how this develops over the year and as more information is released.
I think that every planet will have landmarks and key locations that will be displayed on your sensors. Other than that you will be doing pretty much like in the NMS: scanning flora and fauna, gathering loot, building stuff.. So there is no so much differences between prev games and Starfield. Just the distances will be bigger. Let's hope that we would be able to cross them quickly on some transport (as it may be our ship or maybe something like Mako from ME) P.S. The game was in active development for 7 years (8 years if we include 2022) and in total of ~22 years (as Bethesda says). I hope that was enough.
Don't forget About how these planets will provide insane potential for modding. even if they are not the most detailed with time modders will fill it out.
This looks like a great game. I can't wait to get it 3-4 years after release when all the dlc is released and the modding community fixes most of the bugs.
It has the potential to be an amazing sandbox and space exploration game, but I wouldn't count on a good story, given Bethesda's track record. Their storywriting hasn't been too good since Morrowind. The combat looks lackluster too. Reminds me too much of Fallout. I've mixed feelings about it.
@@Psiclone Nah, bethesda combat has been that. The story enemies are all mediocre at best. Sure a vast universe to explore sounds really cool, but I hope it’s not really repetitive copy and paste’s for all the planets. I’m not expecting every single planet to be entirely unique, I just hope there’s a large enough variety to make each planet feel fresh.
Hope we can get some ocean planets tbh.
you can see the enemies have levels, it will just be a repetitive shooter with the same static bullet sponge enemies
The game sounds too ambitious and I am worried it'll lack depth. I just want a good sci-fi RPG with an interesting story and compelling characters.
This game leans into the procedural. Considering how that always goes I can only hope the more designed stuff makes up for the repetition. I really want a strong scifi game so fingers crossed.
You won't be forced to go to all 1000+ planets, so it's not really a concern that seems fair to me.

Lots of stories could be told.

imagine if this is worse than no man sky
I'm hoping for a combination really. Space is giant and most planets might be emptyish. Procedural generation would be cool for those. I'm hoping for lots of hand crafted though as well.
It would be nice if most of these planets have there own unique weather system. That would really be immersive in this space setting
Most of these planets shouldn't have an atmosphere.
@@alexhein1738 Science.
Who even cares about weather
@@lanttiks6748 Your argument is "science" in a sci-fi game? 😂😂😂
@@alexhein1738
Because this game aims to have a certain degree of realism.
Honestly I'm guessing it will probably just be really similar to no man's sky: procedurally generated boring landscapes
Were probably generated with an AI to a degree with some neat places custom made to explore. Will possibly have quite a few DLC. Then ontop of that, Possibly Creation Club.
Means just enough space for modders to go crazy ^.^
be sick if they allow you to take over planets and make them your own
Its probably gonna be like No Mans Sky if its not a handcrafted area.
The npcs look so soulless though. I guess that is Bethesda standard by now...
@Whoseitwhatnow Listen, I apologize for coming at you super hard about it, I'm just so, sooo very tired of all the cynicism directed towards Starfield.

How can you tell we don't know that yet from a video...
@Lance in FO4 all you really had to do was create a base layer where every foundation would clip together at the same height to avoid problems later on. There were many little tricks you had to know to make things fit properly though. But i guess that difficulty and imperfection was part of the fun
They pulled it straight out of subnautica. I'd be surprised if you don't have to find tech plans or research tech plans for certain buildings.
I just hope that unlike in Fallout 4 95% aren't built solely around the settlement building.

Wow this looks so amazing, ive always wanted a game like this.
Destiny already exists, and the graphics are much better. There are a million games like this.
Probably means most planets will just be filler with absolutely no characters or quests. But I could be wrong.
Let's hope that we would be able to cross them quickly on some transport (as it may be our ship or maybe something like Mako from ME)
P.S. The game was in active development for 7 years (8 years if we include 2022) and in total of ~22 years (as Bethesda says). I hope that was enough.

Compared to the fallout 4 one, It's way better
@@TihetrisWeathersby campared to Quake 3 it looks fantastic.
Idiotic comment
quick reminder: "15 times the detail", "it just works"
no preorders lads
You must not know anything about developments at Bethesda or who worked on the Fallout 76 engine changes.
Looks great, although im not impressed by the combat, enemies looked very stupid so I hope this will be improved
Yep ....
Yes, very stupid AI
The enemies were level 2. Maybe higher level enemies will be harder?
That's just Bethesda standard for you. The combat is an overly simple sideshow even though they've tried to make it more important over time
@@Psiclone Nah, bethesda combat has been that. The story enemies are all mediocre at best. Bethesda is known for their large open worlds and diverse customizability so you'll know that other aspects will suffer such as combat and story will be mediocre at best. As long as it'll have mod support, it will definitely be improved.
Looks extremely promising. Can't preorder because of Bethesda's crimes against humanity in the past, but the child in me is actually so hyped for this...
looks like space division 2 with visual fidelity like alien isolation
Bethesda crimes against humanity 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looks extremely fake and simple. What you expect from that game? Because it will be nothing more than a game that everyone forget after 6 months after the release
@@PaulRakoczi how on earth is this fake and simple? Are we looking at the same video?
@@PaulRakoczi Do you want the fake trailers of Ubisoft and Cyberpunk? And lol Skyrim and Fallout 4 are still going until this day.
At first I wasn't convinced by the extra cell-shading but it gives a nice old-school look to the game an with the ray-tracing on top it looks really good! Interesting take on TPP to! Can't wait to play it looks fantastic :D
6th May right now, almost a month out from the June showcase. Just excited af. People in the future, if you see this, just know the hype for this game is unreal.
How did redfall turn out more Xbox 💩 stardust is ashey and will be a bug fest trash and this footage was performed on a high end pc still looks awful.
@@Truthwillalwayswinoverlies bro let it be full of bugs, i don't really care. I want my Bethesda space rpg and I'll play it day one regardless. What you gonna say now
@@aryamehta I've seen comments like this for cyberpunk 2077 as well. You're going to regret what you said here 😂
@@Jellygrass mate I was in that hype train too and I played it day one. I played it for 72+hrs during its original launch state on the Xbox one. I think I can handle a little lack of performance.
@@aryamehta that's a really bad mindset to have tho
"I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took a plasma shot in the knee"
This needs to be in the game xD
I hope the combat gets improved. It still has that signature Skyrim/Fallout floatiness and clunkiness. The AI could also behave more like they value their lives; I don't see any of them taking cover. It's practically Fallout 4 all over again in the combat aspect.
Bethesda just has shitty animators , dont expect that to get fixed in your lifetime
Yeah, it looks like you're just shooting your way through anything you wish, like some sort of demigod. I'd like to see something closer to ARMA.
the combat will be improved from previous games, but ur never gonna get great combat in a bethesda game
At least it isn't a straight up reskin of Fallout 4 such as Fallout 76.
Its modding time
playing rn and it looks so different compared to this trailer
no mans sky its the first to open door to space exploration game sims
If there's anything I love the most in games, it's allowing myself to be creative. Huge fan of the weapon, base, and ship building.
Yeah I believe if you can use it you ought to be able to customize it
Somebody likes Minecraft😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😢😂😂
I hope landing on planets is as cool as in Star Citizen.
@@jeanyboy808 if you're crying about the settlement system, those types of mods were some of the most downloaded for 3/NV. Bethesda was LITERALLY listening to fans and put a similar system in game lol
The idea of base building on any number of planets and being able to build my own freakin' ship is just so exciting!
I am CAUTIOUSLY excited about this game.
DONT get into the hype mode!!! We as Gamers need to learn.

Carefull of Todd sweet little lies. I'm going wait how it fun without being full of bugs.
Jdjdjdjd youre exited with no mans sky by bethesda sjsjdj play the original not this clone
Remember Anthem and Cyberpunk 2077. Procced with caution.
9:36 i see pharmacology that's my favorite study 👀
I play it now second time. I watched once again this showcase and i got what Todd promised. I dont know why pepole hate Starfield. Ist great. It plays difrent in terms of exploration. It has difrent rules . You dont land on a planet and have worlds like in Skyrim or Fallout. Planets are for difrent purpose. Still there is plenty of content hand crafted and cool quests lines. Not to mentioned i had zero issues on Series x. Great game.
i loved the game to. people just hate it ause oter guys hated it and jumps on the hate train. i loved building my base anywhere i went and do tons of quests. i loved building ships and doing quest for the space pirates
This is the reason I will finally put up the $$$ for a PC. My PS5 will still be my primary streaming device for the living room TV.
The whole 1000 planet thing is just going to be like five planets that will be big hub worlds, thirty dungeon planets, and the rest are barren resource worlds.
You cant expect them to handmake 1000s of planets. It is your choice to explore the other planets if you want to or not
@@sane7527 I wasn't expecting them to. Other people excited for the game clearly are. Like Loveblanket above me seems to think.
Duh
People who think otherwise have their expectations way too high.
@@relaxedheartbeat9420 not just high, they are stupid. If people actually expect fully handcrafted planets and a thousand of them, they dont deserve to play or review anything
Gonna call my character Johnny Rico as he's gonna spend lot of time dealing with bugs on planets....
the soundtrack is magic 🎮♥
That last bit with over a 1000 planet is exciting
I like the main theme of starfield, it stimulates my curiosity to explore the unknown, cant wait
straight up sounds like you blasted off into an unknown corner of space. Inon Zurr really knocked the score for the game out of the park.
The Artifacts gave him visions, and talked to him....Mass Effect anyone?
Sounds like a classic TNG theme from James Horner.
Like No Man Sky?
just play no mans sky. they've done 21 free updates+expansions
The customization looks so fun! I'm literally going to spend hours just customizing my ship.
Not to mention the hours of creating out character lol.
I can't wait to see Millennium Falcon, X Wings and Tie Fighters with the help of mods.
Did they say anything about an in game store?
If it's not broken that might be the only thing that'll work in this game.
People said that about Cyberpunk...
im so hyped for this game man
All I could think at the end was "only 1000 planets? No Man's Sky has an endless amount of planets". This definitely looks ALOT more fun in alot of ways, but I couldn't help but make the comparison. Definitely looking forward to getting this at launch
I love the idea of all this. Lets just hope Bethesda hasn't bit off more then they can chew and can follow through with the scope of this game. Because this has serious potential to steal thousands of hours from me. At the very least, the mod potential seems good.
This is what everyone was saying about "No Man's Sky" before it launched. Turns out they did bite off more than they can chew. Fast forward to today, it's one of the greatest online multiplayer games.
@@bkingkaley Those two aren't comparable. Hello Games had no experience making big scale games before No Man's Sky while every single one of Bethesda's main single player games (so ignoring spin offs and side projects like Redguard and Fallout 76) since the beginning have been total hits and iconic in their own right. Bethesda don't take their mainline games lightly so i have little reason to think they bit off more than they can chew.
They have and we all know it
@@piccoloatburgerking fallout 76 is a mainline game 💀

The ship customization looks awesome!and the space combat seems awesome too. I’d like to see some more punch to the guns and some more impact effects when bullets hit enemies
yup imagine rdr2 type combat and this game becomes golden
That was my only gripe with what I saw as well, weapons seemed to lack weight and impact, sure that can be remedied
For real. Enemies in this video getting peppered and not reacting at all like wtf.
@@fallout2638 there are no modern weapons in rdr2?? How is it even comparable
All their Fallout games have good gore and dismemberment systems so I'm not sure why this looks lacking. Let's just hope the gunplay doesn't feel as bland as it does in CP2077, because that's what's it's looking like now.
Something I've not seen mentioned alot but the soundtrack for this sounds incredible! Sounds like a proper space score
sounds like the outer worlds soundtrack...
@@Billy-tb5hv My thoughts Exactly, I kept getting Outer Worlds vibes
If it’ll have a similar score quality to that of elder scrolls Skyrim, it’s going to fantastic
