I need more Monotone music in my life. They make me feel something. But also make me feel nothing. I love this band more than I can say. They have been such a big part of me its unreal.
It's amazing how much simplicity you can get away with if you've got a good sound and good production. The bass is extremely simple and barely changes, the drums are also extremely simple and don't change at all! You would think that you need more to make a good track but this track shows that you don't. Hats off.
If it sounds good, it is good, as Eddie Van Halen once said :) I used to be in a 'cock rock' band as lead guitarist, doing all the shapes you can imagine, but these days I get more pleasure out of getting my synth, bass and drum machine together and making music like this. Though we're certainly nowhere near Camella's level, my girlfriend and I are working on a project under the name Looking for Eden - will keep posted!
I agree and really like the sounds being produced in TOC, as of their recent EP... Far better than most bands that have an arsenal of synths... Less is way more haha
This version of the song is IMO superior to the album version. The drums are way too loud on the album and it drowns out the rest of the music but here it is at the back and so we can enjoy all the music!
Ironically that was my argument. I'm not 'hating' on the Microkorg sound, I just feel that it's uninviting when you consider diving into synthesis and trying to learn anything. Just my opinion though.
"Playerhaters that hate on this thing are just dumb and probably never programmed a synthesizer in their lives and just play the stupid presets, which are by all means really awfull."
Years later, come back, thumbs up again

Repetitive and monotonous in a good way
boring, annoying, déjà vu. people are deaf.
