Beautiful tutorial! I have a soft place for dragons but I don't collect them. I collect Angels. My Sister-in-Law is a Dragon Queen. She has her entire living room filled with dragons. Mostly figurines, some very large and some very small. Some were painted by both of us when we had a blast buying naked statues and painting them ourselves and some were love gifts from her husband. I'll have to tell her about you. She was home healing from surgery last year and she saw me posting colorings I had completed on my FB page and asked me about it. She got hooked, like we all do, and now she colors in her free time. She has healed from surgery and went back to work. She's a work-a-holic. Anyway, I printed the dragon on gray toned paper and I have my white charcoal stick sharpened and ready to go. I watched this video to get the gist of how you were coloring the dragon and also wrote down the pencils I needed to pull out to color my dragon as close to yours as I can get. I don't usually do that but felt the pull to copy so I will...this time. I may come back and color him as he appears to my hands and see how that goes. I loved seeing the tour of your dragon tattoos. Very nice!
I absolutely LOVED this video. Both the tutorial and the story about your dragon's breath. So cool! When I was a kid, I thought I helped the sun rise in the morning. It is a happy memory!! I like dragons, too. Always have. They are fascinating. So many stories and so many cultures. Totally cool!!
OMG!!! Lisa, I just found this... I'm making a book on dragons, the book has lore, mythology, of course pictures, spells, elementals, in other words everything I can find to print out for my book, they completely fasinate me... hope this dragon is available on TALM???
My first video I saw of yours was the lion knocker and so now I have subscribed. I am a beginner and I hate to tell you this but I started with Johanna Basford coloring books and the one I have is Ivy and the Inky Butterfly. These books are not as challenging as yours. I loved this video because there are dragons in this book and I have hesitated to color them but his video really has inspired me to try this challenge. You are a master teacher and you speak so beginners can try your technique. I just love you and so fun to see your dressing style. Thank you so much for doing this video.Unfortunately I do not do Patreon or Facebook but I am dedicated to following you now. Have lovely day.
Awesome. Welcome. I actually don't do Facebook anymore either. I've grown much since since the filming of this video. I now have a private community that I pay for, but is free for you guys to join. It's also add free. Come join me there, and say hello. It's called TALM. members.mitrokh.in
You seem to encourage feedback, so here’s mine, a March Patreon starter....This is the perfect video. Normally, I hate high speed playback because people don’t describe what they’re doing in enough detail, so you’re frantically trying to figure it out and quite frankly, it makes me nauseous. At the same time, for medical reasons, I can’t follow along with a three hour coloring video. Here, you have a video that moves quickly, but with great description and instruction so that I can watch 5 or so minutes, then pause playback, and spend some time trying to mimic what I’ve seen. My ideal way of learning to color. Thanks!
Lisa! You are the bomb.com! Your knack for visual storytelling makes your UA-cam videos a delight to watch! The attention to detail in the production of your videos is unmatched! And then can we talk about your coloring skills? I admire the way you use the colored pencils... not necessarily for the colors they ARE, but for the colors that they can MAKE! It looks so good!
Absolutely stunning! I love the colour combinations and how you used the posca to get all those highlights! just amazing - I really liked seeing your tattoo dragons and figurines - thank you for everything you share xx

Oh how cool. I'm so glad to hear that your sister-in-law is all recovered and back to work, AND coloring. That's great.
Thank you for this dragon video. I was getting ready to color a dragon and I was lost. Your video really helped. Thank you, Lisa
