I finished Assistant to the Villain and loved it. The second book was able to stay relatively close to the same vibe. There was growth and change, but a lot of the feeling of the characters made it awesome!
🐴A Fun September TBR. I play a candyland tbr game with my kids every month to help me choose my tbr. My September tbr is Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare, A Dawn of Onyx, The Rise of Kyoshi, Swordheart, and Powerless by: Lauren Roberts (already finished) so will borrowing The Thursday Murder Club from the library for getting ahead of my tbr this month.
a sign of affection is so good and i love having the rainbow spines on my shelf!! i recommend witch hat atelier for another really good manga!! perfect for the fall too.
Great to see you back in another video, oh my goodness Assistant to the Villain is simply AMAZING, I love this book so much. This book grabbed me so bad and when I finished it I had to buy the next book straight away
My prompts chose these: Roll a dice the # it lands is the # of words in the Title: The Binding by Bridget Collins A series I might not get all books off: Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz A book with all of my favourite colours: Are we all Lemmings & Snowflakes by Holly Bourne Moon or Stars on the cover: The girl who drank the moon by Kelly Barnhill Loved by many: Verity by CoHo
I just signed up for your patreon so I’m excited to see how fun that will be. I stumbled upon your channel not too long ago and have been really enjoying it since 🫶🏻
I am reading in September: The Ballad of Never After and A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber, Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross, Wistaria by Adalyn Grace, and Apprentice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. It’s a month of sequels and I’m so excited!
🐎 I love being first! I would love more books in "the monk and the robot" series. Those two books were so healing. And ofc moscap is so freaking adorable, I love 'em.
The prompt for your shirt you could have done a a book set in the 70s (bc pink floyd), within the music scene/following a band, or like a musician memoir
I've just started following you and all throughout the few videos i've watched of you i kept thinking 'what's her accent i can’t place it? She has an american accent but with a few twists in some woyels.' Then "Here in Panama" Ah! Yes! I knew it! I should've known the way you pronounced the h in gumiho gave me Spanish vibes.
Vaughan was a name that made Off to the Races a difficult one for me among other things too. Its my least favourite Elsie book and so different than her others imo. I hope you continue reading Gold Rush Ranch even if you don't enjoy Off to the Races (cause me too) because the rest of the books are so good and in normal Elsie fashion.
Assistant to the Villain was, for me, a book with an interesting premise that was very poorly executed (no pun intended). I tried the sequel to give it a chance to get better, but I dislike it even more than the first book. I am very interested to hear your thoughts. 😊
There IS an animal companion in Skyward - Doomslug!! 😂
Ok dang. I’m living for your list this month. A Prayer for the Crown Shy is just as beautiful as the first book!!
This woven kingdom series is SOOOOOOO good!!! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
Absolutely LOVED the god and gumiho!!! I need book 2 ASAP!!
You're the cutest booktuber out there, literally adorable 😭
5:32 "ugly, baby, ugly." I need as a meme soundbite, that was hilarious
Assistant to the Villain is so fun and just a great read. I love the characters so I hope you enjoy it ❤

🐎🐎 Animal Companions is such a theme of Skyward Flight it's not funny. Such a great book!
I loved Assistant to the Villain. I have #2 in my tbr pile.

Assistant to the villain is adult. The characters are adult age and there is some language in there that makes it adult. It is an amazing book series!
🐴 always love TBR jar videos!!!
Finishing 'Josse, the tiger, and the fish' as well as continuing Fruits Basket
love your energy. felt like I was propped up on facetime just vibing with a bestie

🐴 good luck with this tbr!
I recently read Cash by Jessica Peterson & highly recommend it for another fresh, cowboy romance moment 🤠🤎
I've been in such a reading slump but luckily I've moved out of it !!

Jarl is pronounced "yarl" Js are y sounds in Scandinavian languages ❤❤❤ I hope you love this book!
For my reads in September I will be reading keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh, if she knew by Blake Pierce
Also will be ready wish by Morgan rice and a good girls guide to murder by holly jackson
I felt your pain for that choice of single parent prompt lol 😅😂😂😂
To make it worse wild eyes has just come out which is also single parent trope
You should dump it in a bowl or bigger jar and pick from there so you're more likely to get different prompts.
I loved bookshop and bonefish hope you do to. 🎠
October is my b'day month too!😁 Oct 21st. When's yours?
YAY
Skip the nanny. Read the Windy City
🐴 i'm looking for horse-y books so maybe give me a horse scale from 1 to 5 for off to the races. :D
