Gumi may not be the most popular of all of Vocaloid, but in my opinion she is the best. She sounds so smooth and natural and still has basically the best English bank too. I think her only downsides is that she sounds too soft for hard songs but she still sounds great. I’ve only heard her sound truly awful when inexperienced people tried to make her sing high pitched Miku songs without properly tuning her.
Unfortunately she's kinda hard to use at times. It's so sad Yamaha likely shut down the production of GUMI V4 English because they only wanted new VBs releasing for V5. As someone that actually has GUMI's English VB, one notable difficulty is that you really have to cut up her phonetics. If you don't she'll genuinely sound awful or even glitch out. V4 could have fixed her issues if it had actually gotten made. Her Eng VB can have such great results so it's such a shame it takes so much effort to work right. Even KIRA has complained about her flaws despite loving her. T_T

The scene was so different back then, I can't help but feel nostalgic for it -- but also I am happy to see it thrive all these years later and still see Gumi being used and loved with her amazing new voicebanks over the years. 😭 Its amazing recognizing producers from years ago who I didn't even know used Gumi in the past (Utsu-P!!) and multiple songs I had missed out from others, as well as producers from outside Japan. Gumi was always my favorite and still is, she means so much to me and others -- I teach music and have met middle schoolers that were my age back then who currently love her and vocaloid!! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. This was a blurb of words, but this whole video made my night and made me revisit a lot of classics... Thank you again ♥

They didn't forget about Balleriko, it's just in the "also known for" section during 1, 2 fanclub. The uploader limited themselves to one song per producer.

Is that a new version of ‘Your Love Will Surely Skyrocket’? It sounded different than the one I know and I’ve definitely know about it for a lot longer than 2019
not 100 for all, but I’m aiming to do at least 30 for all. For example, Tonio was very difficult to find different producers and Macne Petit is an append given her own character. The series will have gotten to all of them by late April. I’ve just also been redoing some of the more popular Vocaloids because they have so much to offer.
