They need to tour... I kno these guys have jobs. Thing is meshuggah and gojira have stellar live performances id like to see how this band sounds live all ive ever seen from them is recordings live performance is a whole other beast to sound perfect nothing like recordings.
Hello from France (fans here too !). Just wanted to know where did you shot this video (not the exact location, but the area at least). When I first heard the music from Nico, I didn’t expect you were coming from Arizona. We (French) maybe imagine a place there which is closer to a desert. And the music was giving more imagination to place such as north American, Canada’s place or northern Europe. (Let say colder places)

Okay. So I'm not alone. I too locate my picking hand by placing my pinkie finger down somewhere on the guitar. I don't see it a lot, so I kinda just assumed it was a bad habit. This guy is pretty not bad though, so who knows.
@@sourbrothers73 its a really good habit homey, John Browne out of monuments does it and I believe he's got one of the best right hands in all of metal currently!
@@michael_artifact yeah I've always been a metalhead. Metallica and lamb of God are why I picked up guitar in the first place, 13 years ago. But I've always played fingerstyle acoustic. Last year, I finally bought a legitimate lefty electric guitar, and all of my self-taught picking knowledge was useless. I basically had to re-learn my left (picking) hand. Its been really tough, and I'm still struggling. Electric guitar is a different beast than acoustic. So much more delicate and precise, especially technical metal playing.
