People are wanting to buy this from him, which I don't blame you, I want one too. But he would not be able to sell them for an affordable price. He would not even be making a very high profit if he sold this for $500. The editing makes it look like it didn't take long to make, but in reality he must have spent many hours making this amazing tool. Hand making and hand fitting things like this takes a long time. I am curious to know how long it did take to make it.

@@BSIinventor101u say u needed six days. U mean working days, right? So 48 hours! Never! Even if i count like two hours for sawing out the legs, one hour for the two wooden disc's and so on i come only on a maximum of 16 hours. And no one need two hours to saw out two legs of this Format. I don't know how u want get of 48 hours but this amount of time isn't usual. Six days... nice joke!

Well thats clearly a given. Prototypes are always expensive due to the research and trial and error that goes into them.
Does that mean that should make the part or tool prohibitively expensive? No, that just means they need to work on the cost of making the part, the ease and simplicity of constructing it. Make jigs, tooling, etc.

In some instances the tool can be used as a thickness guage. But you would have to always have measure @ a fixed point on the tool. It looks like you put some finish on the copper hinge but not the protractor. I'd cover both. I would radius all corners, some more than others. Very good looking & well made tool. T.Y.

@@TheFixer1965 You can use a divider like this to walk around a circle and, well, divide it into as many segments as you want. Then you draw lines from the center to each of those points.

Nice craftsmanship. But let me tell , for measuring od of cylinder shapes, if the jaws are not parallel, the more they get open the greater the error will be. But to measure inner diameter it can work some how.

@@BSIinventor101i dont understand. you have an ability to create but feel it necassary to mislead people by showing a planer bit then showing the results of a hole saw. most people can reproduce but dont have the ability to create like you do. so it makes no sense why you would do that when people wont be able to reproduce your ability to create. that is a gift that no one can take from you so it makes no sense why you would try to mislead people, you are obviously capable and creative something that most will never have . I see no reason for you to mislead
