It is too late for love ... I'm 56 and my heart is failing from disease ... but DAMN did I get to grow up in the most BAD ASS time...nothing like the 80s ever again. Bonus - I was a drummer in high school! :)
Pyromania was one of my first 30-40 albums. I was 16/17 at the time. The first album I bought myself was Motörhead's "Iron Fist" in 1982. What a great time that was...?
The first time I heard this song I had just bought the cassette and was walking with my boombox on my shoulder.....I stopped walking and it felt like there was electricity coursing through my body. I had actual tears in my eyes. I haven't thought of this song for YEARS and just found it again! Please God....let me live in those days again.
Pyromania was simply the best ever album to come out of the NWOBH era. It still stands up some 40 years later. Unreal bunch of musicians who have an incredible talent to write music that will last forever
@@tony.CSC.IndianaNah, they haven't rocked since Rick lost his arm - he can't play any of their older songs the same with only one arm. Not trying to be a dick, but those are just facts.
Definitely one of their best.Great band.Hysteria and earlier albums were all excellent. The sound of Pyromania and earlier albums are my fave though. But Hysteria gives me more memories just because it was my time in Jr.High/High school as I was older.Too Late for Love is near perfect in my opinion.Great times.
@@rooster5295 I saw them live at the Ritz CC tx 1980 on thru the night tour! I was 19 then. High n dry is my fav album ..although pyromania is sentimental as well because those were the beginning of mtv and great videos from great bands during that era! I'm blessed to have seen black Sabbath judus preist Van Halen ufo Rush and a few more all during the mid to late 70s😁
I love this song! It kicks ass! I like the guitar riffs! It's a bummer about the drummer who lost his arm, but God willing he found a way to continue playing the drums! More power to the guy....
It is a testament to the band they thought to keep him as their drummer. Given what happened, it would have made good sense to replace him. No one would have blamed them had they. But they didnt. Such loyalty in the world of rock is almost unheard of. What with so many petty personalities. My salute to Def Leppard.
Man. Back in 1980's...older brother had this cassette. I always thought I was doing something awesome (and) listening to something awesome when I'd sneak it out from his bedroom and listen to it with my own friends.
A big thank you to the UK for giving us the best rock band of all time for me to enjoy growing up in the 80s and 90s here in the U.S! These dudes had some serious hits, and many are on my Playlist today still!! 🤟
One of the absolute greatest and most original sounding hard rock bands of all time. Pyromania is a masterpiece, every song is good. Hysteria is good too, but is clearly more commercial sounding in comparison. Pyromania is straight rock baby.
I SERIOUSLY CAN'T SAY THIS IS MY FAVORITE BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY DEF LEPPARD SONGS THAT ARE DEFINITELY INCREDIBLE... BUT I SHALL SAY... JOE ELLIOT'S VOCALS CANNOT BE DUPLICATED... HE IS ONE OF A KIND .. JUST LIKE AN EDDIE VAN HALEN ...GUITARWISE ❤️❤️
2023 and still come back to listen to the best band in the entire world 💕💕💕💕 this tune though sends chills through me!!!!!! Long live def leppard 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸🎸 xxxxxxx
Lifelong fan, still love them in 2020 as much as I did the first time I heard them! Raised my kids on this music, they're in their late 20s to early 30s and have a thorough knowledge of MY faves! This song still gives me goosebumps!
This song needs a comeback. Later, the drummer lost an arm, and the rest of the band said "well damn, you'll just have to kick your feet a bit more then." 🤟

I am still listening. The biggest band of the 80's. Pyromania was the album of my high school year 1983. Great memories. I still listen to Def Leppard's first three albums when I want to go back and relive the good old days. RIP Steve Clark-Your fans miss you.

Popular song for strippers in the '80s. About all it was good for.
Nahh u said u were a politician
Obviously.
I love that song since 1983. For some reason its still my best . Im 61 now . Greetings from an "older rocker " in 2024 💜🎸

One of my favorite Def Leppard songs... completely underrated!
"Comin' Under Fire" is the best track on the record, IMO.
@@mgdarenzshould have been an A-Side track
Every song on this album is great
But it's not their best album..High n Dry has that honor! And that's not knocking pyromania ..it's awesome as well but I'll go with high n dry
Super good album
u are soooo right
Damn True
No argument here. Leppard was kick butt in the early 80's!

💯🔥🔥
If you use Bad Ass. You are brothers and sisters of the 80s. My people
Beat on Brother GenX
Def Leppard backing vocal is amazing
Proper Top of The Pops type lip sync over exact studio version backing track… no one will notice 😂 Still awesome though
Def Leppard is my favorite band of all time! Their music is just as great today as it was in the 80's
Listen to the power of those drums
Electric drums on the album, poor drummer hardly played any part in the album.
Def Leppard songs play everyday in my apartment. Love my single life. ❤. Play it loud.
Steve Clark's guitar playing sends chills though my body. He really was THAT DAMN GOOD!!!
Jozef-D he was awesome, no one sounds anything like him , so underrated, he’s great rock on
Hey,Sylvester P. Smythe from Cracked magazine, cool!

2020 - who’s listening still? This is my favorite song on Pyromania.
Dirt Therapy yeah, favorite song on it as well. Something about the buildup of this, and Bringin’ on the Heartbreak from High ‘n’ Dry. Great stuff
Jason Miradoli agreed. Bringing on the heartbreak is my favorite on High and Dry.
Absolutely listening in 2020!!! The best song on pyromania, is,,,,,, the next song!!… every time… in original order!!!

Agreed. I bought the album when I was 11 and used to listen on repeat. Hysteria is great but pyromania takes the cake
Back when Def Leppard rocked hard.
They still do. Go out and see them. They crushed it in Detroit!
