It's my theory that the identity of the Sinner is actually Nibelung. This is mainly because of one reason: The Der Ring des Nibelungen, an opera that Khaenri'ah takes a lot of its inspiration from. In this story, the dwarf, Alberich, and Nibelung steals the Rhinegold from the Rhinemaidens and forges a ring of power, and the entire story revolves around the conflict of everyone trying to obtain that ring.
So I believe if we translate this to Genshin, the Alberichs, who stepped in as reagents after Khaenri'ah fell, are working together with Nibelung to complete the loom of fate and take control of Teyvat, so surely the identity of the Sinner must be Nibelung. It would make sense as to why he has that title too, because he collected a lot of forbidden knowledge in the war that caused the world to nearly be destroyed. I think that after using all of that forbidden knowledge but it being cleansed, possibly so wounded he didn't even have a body anymore, he then turned to the powers of the abyss. Centuries later, he "heals" Caribert, possibly taking control over his body or started the process of making Caribert the loom of fate.
Now, we hear in the trailer that the loom of fate is apparently complete, but i don't think that means that they are able to use it yet. Why? Because Kaeya's father told him that the "fate" of Khaenri'ah is in his hands. Now, we haven't gotten any information of Kaeya betraying Mondstat and stealing the thing he was supposed to steal. It's so important, hoyo would have found a way to let us know this information. So I believe that while the loom of fate is completed, it is still missing its power source, which is what Kaeya was sent to find.
As for what this power source is, I got this theory from Ashikai's video, How Celestia Stole Teyvat(Link: ua-cam.com/video/yKq6E3o5jsA/v-deo.html ). I highly recommend watching her video, but to grossly summarize for my comment, at one point she gives reasoning as to why Nibelung is most likely a chinese inspired dragon(If you wanna know why, watch her video), and in chinese mythology, chinese dragons posess pearls that are the source of their power. So most likely Nibelung has some kind of pearl that is the source of his power. She gives evidence that suggests that back in the day, the Primordial One stole Nibelung's pearl, and that they then created a device(or loom of fate) to control the land, in other words, fate. It created the spirit veins protecting humanity from the dangerous effects of the primordial elements, and created fate allowing them to govern the fate of the world and its inhabitants. But during the battle with the Second Who Came, something happens to the loom of fate(most likely due to Nibelung's use of forbidden knowledge), so celestia can no longer manually control fate.
it is my theory that the Primordial One lost control, he worked with the Second Who Came to create the Gnoses, and found a way to keep Nibelung's pearl by tricking SWC or by a deal. The Primordial One then takes one of the Gnoses, and becomes the God of Anemo. That's right... the Primordial One is Venti. Hence why Kaeya was sent to Mondstat to find something that will determine Khaenri'ah's fate there. Many other people also have this Primordial Venti theory due to both of them being androgynous in appearance and with wings and a crown, also the fact that Istaroth is with him , but now I'm even more convinced.
I believe that the reason Venti took Nibelung's Pearl with him was so that, while he couldn't make a loom of fate of the same scale as before as he was probably weakened or under some degree of control from the Second Who Came, he was able to use his own power to be the loom of fate for Nibelung's pearl, so that he could make Mondstat free from fate, hence why Venti is the god of freedom, and Mondstat is the nation of freedom.
I believe that the end game of Teyvat is a grand battle over who will obtain Nibelung's pearl and has the means needed to utilize it to wrest control over the fate of the world. And as of right now, Kaeya is in a prime position to take it, if he were so inclined. I delve into this theory deeper in a comment on a different video, so I'll just copy paste it in the replies of my comment if you're interested in reading more.
If anyone sees this, congratulations for making it to the end! I appreciate it, haha. Please let me know your guys' thoughts

    • @mittenvonscrufflears7233
      @mittenvonscrufflears7233 Місяць тому +6

Hear me out: Nibelung's pearl is the thing that Kaeya's father sent him to Mondstat to retrieve and the fate of Khaenri'ah depends on it and this "loom of fate" is really Nibelung getting his body back through abyssal and spirit vein powers and the final battle will be between the Second Who Came, the Khaenri'ans and Nibelung, the Primordial One, and the Fatui.
I CAN EXPLAIN! You see, I was watching this old theory video by Roozevelt discussing the similarities between the Veluriyam mirage event and Kaeya's hangout event with Khaenri'ah's lore(Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/9l8VuXX0wH0/v-deo.html ). About 6 minutes in she mentions Der Ring des Nibelungen, which inspires a lot of Khaenri'ah's lore. In this story, the dwarf, Alberich, and Nibelung steals the Rhinegold from the Rhinemaidens and forges a ring of power, and the entire story revolves around the conflict of everyone trying to obtain that ring.
It has always been a mystery as to how the Alberich's rose to power. Now it is my belief that either Nibelung is the "Sinner" that converted Caribert and brought about the Alberich's reign, convincing them he has a way to save their nation, or the Sinner is someone else but they form an alliance with Nibelung later or use him somehow, but I think the first theory is more likely true. Because remember, they call their ultimate weapon THE LOOM OF FATE!!! LOOM!!! FATE!!! Nibelung must want to use the same strategy to take control of the world that the Primordial One used to do the same. Perhaps this "loom of fate" really refers to Nibelung's body. Or some warped, Abyssal version of it. Perhaps Nibelung has had the Alberichs/Khaenri'ans working to get Nibelung an Abyssal body, which COULD explain the warped Statue of the Seven that we find when we first meet the abyss twin. I don't think it's a far stretch, since the Gnoses were created to still be able to subdue the lands to some extent. Perhaps to make this "loom of fate" a.k.a. Nibelung, they have found a way to combine or absorb what is most likely the spirit vein energy that is in the statues of the seven to slowly create and generate enough power for the loom of fate. Now, this could be Nibelung's body or perhaps it is just an actual machine, but I think either way it will be Nibelung that will control it, thus controlling fate. The Khaenri'an people must have allied with Nibelung so Nibelung could use the power of fate to change the fate of their people, making them prosperous again and removing the curse the gods put upon them.
But... despite already having made plans to create this loom of fate hundreds of years in advance, Kaeya's father still told him that the FATE of Khaenri'ah lays in Kaeya's hands. So surely... there must be one component missing to truly complete this loom of fate? That's right... it's Nibelung's pearl, and it's in Mondstat, the nation of freedom. It's my theory that Venti is in possession of Nibelung's Pearl, but without the loom, he can't control the fate of the entire world. But... I believe that he might be able to control part of it. For I believe Venti to have a secret identity... the Primordial One. Or as I like to call him, the "Ehe" One.
You see, I always suspected that Venti might be the Primordial One, but this recent theory just made this theory to be more plausible. For starters, the Primordial One, or Phanes, was androgynous in appearance, and had wings and a crown, just like Venti. Although, you will notice that now Venti only has one wing, perhaps lost when I believe he lost his seat of power fighting the Second Who Came. I'm sure you know of the other things that make people believe this theory to be plausible, Istaroth residing in Mondstat, yadda yadda. So here's what I think happened: The "Ehe" One is having fun ruling over the world when the Second Who Came pops in and they fight for control. Amidst the chaos, the loom of fate somehow gets destroyed, but Nibelung's pearl remains intact. The Second Who Came wins, but the world is falling apart which neither want, so them and the "Ehe" One join forces to create the Gnoses to control the land. I also have a theory that the price vision wielders pay is that their wills are taken and put in the visions(hence why their will goes away when the vision is taken) and is used to power the Gnoses, for only will can control the ley lines, but for the sake of length I won't dive too deep into that. Anyway, they create the Gnoses, the Second Who Came becomes ruler, they compromise and the "Ehe" One gets to become the Anemo Archon. And somehow with the deal the "Ehe" One is either allowed to keep Nibelung's pearl or tricks the Second Who Came so he could keep possession of it.
But that leaves me wondering three things: Why is he the god of freedom? And if he really is the Primordial One, why did he appear to be so weak when Signora attacked him? And why does he need to hibernate so much? Well, I believe that he was able to utilize the power of Nibelung's pearl to some extent and make Mondstat free from fate, hence why it is the nation of freedom. I don't think this theory is so crazy because after all, he was the one who made the original loom of fate, making a budget loom of fate doesn't seem entirely out of the question. I think this could be why Venti seems to be so weak and hibernates so much, he is using his own power, perhaps with some technique like the Khaenri'ans are doing with their own "loom of fate", to make Mondstat free of fate entirely. Perhaps Venti was too beat up from the war or the Second Who Came took a lot of his power away which is why making a loom of fate on the same level as his previous one impossible, who knows. He uses his powers to power this loom of fate and that's why he barely has any power of his own to wield and often has to go into hibernation to regain more strength, and why he interferes in Mondstat affairs much less than other archons.
One thing I noticed that was mentioned a lot in Kaeya's play during his hangout event was "fate" and how he would defy it. He mentions how the world is a stage and people are it's players, but that he thinks people should realize that they don't have to follow the script. Fate has decided that he can either side with Mondstat, or Khaenri'ah. So perhaps how instead of resigning himself to fate and choosing a side, he pulls something out of left field. Which in Mondstat, a land free of fate, that might be possible. I always thought that Kaeya would side with Mondstat when it came time to choose, but what if his decision is crazier than that? What if he doesn't pick a side, and decides to try to save both nations? I could go on for a long time about what Kaeya's plan could be, but for the sake of length, I will again refrain.
I believe that like the opera, Der Ring des Nibelungen, the ultimate end game of this world is to get a hold of Nibelung's pearl and the winner will be able to control the world. I believe the Fatui's project Stuzha to have something to do with this. Perhaps it could be a plan to obtain Nibelung's pearl and use it to control fate or perhaps they have a different strategy to get rid of fate entire(again for the sake of length I won't talk about it more), and all the big forces of this world(well, two worlds?) are going to duke it out in the finale. I believe that the Second Who Came will obviously want this pearl but I don't know what her plan might be to utilize it, Venti(or the "Ehe" One) at the very least will want the pearl to fall in good hands, so I could either see him wanting to keep it for himself or allying with the Fatui to give it to them, or perhaps he doesn't contribute that much in the final battle because of how weak he is who knows, and Nibelung/Khaenri'ah so Nibelung can finally gain control of the world again which would not be good for anyone in Teyvat. I'm pretty confident with this theory. I highly doubt I got everything right, but I feel like this theory will hold up pretty well(God am I gonna eat my words?).
Okay, I am finally finished talking! I would love to hear anyone's comments on my theory, what you liked, if there's something you disagree with, what you think it is instead, points of my theory you could expand on, etc. I would love to generate discussion!

Since the Sinner has the power to see us through our taking over our sibling's mind and pov it's more likely he's The Primordial One or Second Who Came. Something THAT powerful to see us through time and space is someone who is outside of Teyvats natural law.

The theory is very cool and primordial one using Nibelung pearl to control fate of Teyvat sounds pretty much reasonable. The problem is that Neuvilette said in his dialogues that after the war of vengeance the usurper(Phanes) lost his functions, so they no longer can suppress the word with their authority. And also says that the fate is a mean by which Phanes plays with living beings. Yes, the weaving fate machine with nibelung's pearl might have been broken, but it's seems to me more that Neuvilette impling that function to suppress the world was personal of primordial one, he says directly Phanes wounded so they no longer can maintain control over Teyvat by themselves. I suppose that can do something with will of descender, and l think it also can do something with the music of humana and mundana. So the music of mundana is the music of world, it's laws and the fate of it's inhabitants. While the music of humana is the music of human souls(not the voices, l suppose human voices would make music of instruments) or the music of combined human will. Remember the music of humana can replace the music of world(natural laws), so the strong enough human will can control natural order or to say that replace the sound of natural order or suppress it's sound, how l think it works the music of world(laws) has it's own temp, rhythm and loud but when the music of humana(wish and will) become louder(stronger) than the music of the mundana, the Will of individual(descender) or the combined will of individuals(yeah if the will of one person is too quite and cannot suppress the sound of world, combine those weak will to create a stronger will, l suppose that what Remus, Deshret, Rene tried to do but failed cus every will is merged in one but still these wills belonged to different individuals, thus being different and creating different sound and inevitably the difference between humans will lead to disharmony, predetermining collapse of such will) can and would implant it's wish to how things work in this world. What l mean by that Phanes is the first descender, and thus have the will to rival the whole world or to say the primordial one implant their own music of humana to music of the world and l think after the war of vengeance they lost their ability to suppress the natural order, so to suppress the natural order they used the natural order(very ironic), yeah l think the dragon authority is the natural order, they stole dragons authorities and put them into remnants of third descender to keep them in check and used the Nibelung pearl to create the weaving machine for fate, yes l think the loom of fate was created much more later(like why you need it when you can suppress world by yourself, and remember traveler is going to rewrite fate in the end, what l want to say the fate is controlled by musica mundana(world laws) and the point is that fate is controlled by stars while position of constellations are repeating the position of roots of irminsul and irminsul controls the flow of elements that create Teyvat, so control the flow of elements -> control fate). There is more remember Chenyu wale, it's says there that the natural order returns back and returns Teyvat back to state of primordial pure elements, collapsing Teyvat to elemental world, leading to the death of all life (not elemental pure forms), yes l believe until the arrival of the primordial one the world was fully made out of elements, remember Chenyu wale the adepti says or remembers that in her past until will of gods turned her to adepti, the elements were everywhere but now they are only in leylines(miasmi(l dunno how to spell) are the elements which escaped from leylines or turned back to it's natural state) that implies to me that until Phanes teraformed Teyvat, the world was only pure elements(and it actually mentioned that being without an elemental sight would be completely blind in that kind of world, though for dragons it looked pretty normal), what l say if before the elements were everywhere and now they contained in leylines(roots of irminsul), the irminsul was created as the basis of this world, from elements of dragon world, to create and maintain Teyvat and it's laws. Now l perfectly understand dragons and their hate towards everything connected to primordial one, imagine some random dude shows up, bits you, claims you home as their property, than taking the basis that created you home world and made from it a tree(completely destroys your world in process), and tree creates another world, than this random dude create very aggressive specie, which continue hating(you know tales of dragons) you and biting you and than when you try to reclaim what belonged to you, they beat you up again, take you heart, create from your leader's heart a machine to control your fate(not only dragons fate, but anyway). Very cool indeed.
Btw sorry for my bad English

What if it's the other way around Nibelung is Dainsleif. "He was the twillight sword" Genshin has already shown that the symbolic between swords and fate There is also this connection the siblings have with the dragons as there powers resembles the sovereigns and not the archons . It's also states in game that Dainsleif has a corruption a sickness if you will. Nibelung was described to be corrupted by forbidden knowledge by Apep so this is not guessing. Dainsleif is surprised that Halfdan can break out of the curse without "it" and that should be the ring you talk about, but that ring is in possession of Dainsleif currently. He is trying to mend that with the first field tiller, and is trying to find rhine stone to mend it. The most suspicious evidence for me is him telling the traveller "Command me, save her" He is feeling guilt over what he did to Lumine but he felt it was necessary to stop the blasphemy that was going on in Khaenri'ah at that time. Dainsleif is not really opposed of Celestia as far as I understand he wants to uphold status quo. The first time we meet him we answer very suspicious questions about our allegiances. It is possible that the abyss order were the dragons that stood up to Celestia and the reason why they hate Dainsleif so much is because he is the king that betrayed them. Therefore the story is really only about dragons and which side some dragons took. I even think humans are related to dragons in Genshin they just don't know it yet.

i think some people/groups who try to reweave fate are trying to create an "artificial descender" to do so
so what i mean by artificial? Descenders as far as we know are outlandes(person who came outside Teyvat) that have a will to rival the world.
so artificial would be someone made or created IN Teyvat(and not outside) who has that will to rival the world.
Rhindedottir trying to do it with Primordial human project that also involves Albedo(you already talked about his similarities with Traveler and hell he himself says that they are similar). so she was trying to create an artificial descender.
the loom of fate project i also believe has "artificial descender" theme with Caribert becoming an artifical descender(the being who can rival the world and reweave fate)
Rene trying to become a descender by combining the conscioussness(wills) of people and using the sword e.t.c
and the newest info about Crimson moin dynasty orphanage i also believe involved creating an artificial Descender. people were "reborn" in the flames of the hearth after seeing the terrified eye of the crimson moon, they were basically reborn as artifical descenders, Perinheri was an artificial descender and i believe that Angelica saying that Perinheri is like her who will not suffer from the curse after saying that she is "freedom" means freedom from fate.
that's why i am still following Arlecchino is an artificial descender theory. it's because similar to Perinheri i believe she was reborn after seeing that terrified eye in crimson moon(which she still sees in her dreams), her weapon description and other stuff saying that she is defying fate in some way, her glitching out AND her drip marketing introduction from Pierro line is 1:1 as to how someone would describe a descender-like being.
so yeah i believe all of the above situations are cases of "artificial descender" stuff and the other way we have seen people trying to defy fate without artificial descender project is by using forbidden knowledge or Remus trying to write his own fate by combining the will of the people through Phobos's symphony which still involved Musica Humana taking over Musica Universalis

I always see the descenders qualities as they're lists of each descenders and that is where narzissenkruez notes were wrong about descenders because if you look at it they all fit the 1 aspect
Protect = primordial one (protected the world for humans)
Destroy = 2nd who came(brought destruction and delusions to the world)
Sustained = 3rd( was used as a tool to sustain the world which was mostly destroyed)
Create = traveler ( who is said to be a sun/monster/human and lastly the one whose will will decide what happens to the world will likely re-create the world which was destroyed by their own blood kin and fools thus the line the fate of the world is theirs to be re-weave)

Okay so the thing about Dendro archon. If we assume Nahida was in Sumeru at that time? Then she should have still responded?? Cause she did listen to other people's wishes. But it seems like she was 1. Still a child who didn't understand what was going on?? 2. This was immediately after cataclysm when she was not found out by the sages??

One thing I understood from the quest that since Leylines can’t be “replaced” or “extended” that means the twin might “create” a new Leyline using the Loom of Fate to change Teyvat course of future like for example break the current samsara cycle that Teyvat is in (since it’s mentioned before we’re at the fourth cycle if I’m correct) and u can say that Teyvat will be free from the shackles of the Heavenly Principles that make up the “rules” of Teyvat? Since those “rules” I believe were placed by the Heavenly Principles??🤔

I think its highly likely that Dainsleif is the final component of the Loom of Fate and Lumine is hunting Dainsleif down in the new AQ. Remember that Dainsleif in the Teyvat Chapter Preview tells traveller to show of he is worthy enough to take his place and reweave the threads of fate which means he at that moment is the one destined to reweave the threads of fate aka the main function of the Loom of Fate.
You also can take a deep dive into Dainsleif to know why he is the perfect candidate for it. Dainsleif's title is the "Twilight Sword", the Twilight Sword in norse Myth was the original name of a sword that went on to be called Surtalogi wielded by the Surtr who was destined to bring the Twilight/Fate Of the Gods aka Ragnarokkr. So if someone in Genshin is gonna bring the Twilight of the Gods its gonna be The Twilight Sword

    • @alexanderericson8628
      @alexanderericson8628 Місяць тому +2

what if Dainsleif is Nibelung. The dragons liked Khaenri'ah maybe the king took it upon himself to defend Khaenri'ah personally. Apep was friends with Deshret so I don't see that as impossible. There is also the ring Dainsleif has that he is trying to mend to get back his full powers is what I suspect. There is a commission in Mondstadt were he tries to mend it, after that he is looking for the first field tiller. It's also clear that Dainsleif likes dragons and detest Archons and they have the stolen dragons authority over the thrones.

Following up on my comment on your previous video. If my assumption that Ichor is in fact Azosite, and both are just elemental energy from the Ley Lines, which is in turn memories of the world (i.e. its Fate) - Sublimation of Pure Sacred Dewdrop mentions that bad emotions turned that Ichor into black substance. And if you look at the icon of the Dewdrop that grey color kinda reminds me of the Dark Gem from the Wrio's Story Quest.
That Gem (or, more appropriately, the substance within it) triggered bad memories in people. Which to me sounds awfully like what the Sublimation of Pure Sacred Dewdrop would contain, which potentially means that it was Ley Line energy filled with "fear energy".
And you know who else wields an item with a sus Black Crystal in it? MITACHURLS! With their Black Crystal Horns. And Samachurls drop scrolls with Forbidden Knowledge on them. And hilichurls' masks hide their twisted identity, because their humanity can't comprehend the change.
To me those 3 things kinda sound like 3 realms of Teyvat. Black Crystal is the representation of the Celestia's power (this being Irminsul/Fate), who in turn got that power from the initial elements of the planet. The scrolls represent the Void realm (Abyss) and its forbidden knowledge. And the masks represent the humanity, because cursed ancient humans are using those masks to appear human in their own reflection.
This then leads me to relate these 3 things to three Descenders. Celestia is the first one. Sinner is the second one. And the third one would've been someone from the human realm who achieved strong enough of a will to rival the other 2, which made those two kill the 3rd descender together. And if we go with the somewhat popular theory that Tsaritsa is Bronya, the third descender might've been a Seele expy and now Bronya is trying to resurrect her by combining the Gnosis.
With all of that being said, it'd make a lot of sense if Sinner could reverse the maddening effect of the hilichurl curse, because his forbidden knowledge is directly related to maddening effects itself (negative plus negative equals a positive and all that). And my crack theory right now is that Loom of Fate is meant to return full consciousness to ALL HILICHURLS, so that they can put up a united front against Celestia.
This would also relate to why Lumine is on the side of the Abyss, cause she wants to bring her (Khaenrian) people back. It would also make sense why Chasm's location soothes hilichurls, because there's a window to the abyss there (the one from the Ordo's quest), which most likely has a positive effect on them. And it would also explain why hilichurls were praying to the Sinner, because he's their supposed savior.
I also think that Lumine might've removed herself as the Descender from Irminsul, back when it was under the control of Irmin (that is if I'm correct with my crack theory that he had control of the White Cedar at some point after Remuria's fall).

I’m pretty sure what we call the Sinner isn’t really the sinner in the way that you’re thinking, I think it’s the Sinner’s “Irminfruit” if you will, the thing Furina had to bust to kill Focilores. I think the Abyss blackened his stellar fortuna and it fell out of the sky… and the abyss order recovered it.

as far as I know, he didn't die, but rather "subdued"
what it this mf really go to another world and got back to teyvat but he actually had his "loom of fate" already?
making him counted as not from this world, and explain as 2nd descender.

I don't know why people refer to the sinner as "The sinner", when "the sinner" refers to themselves as "a sinner". It is entirely possible "sinner" is just a title like "descender" and more than one sinner exist (our sibling for example)

its unspecified as to when this 'taboo' recipe was created, just that it required the dendro archon's blessing. rukkhadevata definitely died during the cataclysm, and the memory of chlothar was post-cataclysm, so the dendro archon should have been nahida at this time!
