Actually in Mahabharat there was Jayadhrath who killed Abhimanyu and Then Arjun took a oath that he will kill Jayadhrath before sunset otherwise he will burn himself alive. So Jayadhrath was hiding and waiting for Sun to set, In the evening when sun was about to set, Lord Krishna with his power made a Solar Eclipse, Everyone thought that it is sun set and the war stopped and the Kauravas came to watch Arjun Burn himself alive as he failed to Kill Jayadhrath before sun set, Then Lord Krishna cleared the Eclipse and so Arjun killed Jayadhrath before sun set. Basically this was the story behind "Krishna fir laya yaha Solar Eclipse"
