Jenny u r the best. Please keep doing video's. I was a foster child all my youth and not one of my foster homes allowed me to be in the kitchen . Only time was to wash dishes. I dont know how youtube works much especially with comments. I only found You, Jenny a couple months ago. To be honest your recipes are the only ones on youtube that have really worked for me. Most just dont come out good to me or my family... We eat really clean ONLY organic food and I put a lot of my income into this. Your recipes always end up tasting clean, fresh and wonderful. So though you may never see this. If you do ....From myself and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren that I feed in my home...WE SAY!! Thanks so very much Jenny. And may you have a wonderful year this 2020....

    Hi Jenny,
I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate your cooking videos, more, and more. Especially since I need for things to be explained very simply, direct, easy to understand, like you do, when you're taking us through each recipe, step, by step. I had a learning disability growing up, so this is how I learn things the best.
As I said in another comment, it took me a little getting used to you, but now you are growing on me, and I keep looking at all of your cooking videos, one by one!! I'm trying to save them all, in my Pinterest.
I can't tell you enough, how easy your instructions, and advice, makes it.

You're wrong Jenny, about getting high on this recipe. I just made it for my husband and he's high as a kite...from the deliciousness of your 'pot' pie !!!
The filling was fine going in the oven but thinned out quite a bit when done cooking, still awesome though !. I'm pretty sure I know where I went wrong and just need to make a few adjustments. I am ecstatic to have discovered your cooking channel here, you have really inspired me and shown that food can be absolutely just as delicious without being a million calories !!! Old fashioned comfort foods made with natural ingredients are healthy.. It's manufactured foods with modern additives that are harmful..

Came across this video while under lockdown in Spain because of Coronavirus. Will make this next week to make our chicken last longer as it looks easy enough. The pie looks scrumptious!

Jenny!!! I made this last night, and it was by far the best Chicken Pot Pie I have ever tasted. I was afraid I would miss the bottom crust, but I didn't. The filling is so clean tasting with the salt and pepper seasoning. My grandmother used the oil based crust for her pies so I knew I would love that. Absolute perfection! I'll be making this often, especially in these cold winter months. Thanks for this wonderful recipe.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I tried it with minor alterations and it was excellent. I did follow the crust part exactly, but I thought I had messed it up when poking holes to vent as it seemed to seal back up. However it cooked up beautifully and tasted great with the filling. I definitely could eat this again. Bravo Jenny! This is the second recipe of yours that I've tried and enjoyed, the other being your homemade granola bars. I still owe you a positive review on that one. And did I mention your videos are fun to watch while being easy to follow? Well, they are. If you don't believe me, talk to the hand! 😉
My minor alterations were these: already cooked left over turkey, a can of cream of chicken with herbs in place of the sauce step, and about a cup or 1/2 cup of frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots, and green beans) with some frozen broccoli florets tossed in (about a handful) all cooked 5 minutes in medium heated water prior to draining them and then sauting with the turkey and tablespoon of fresh chopped onion, and the so on with the recipe.

I would like to try this recipe Jenny, although I think the filling should be cooked a little longer with the stock before you add the thickener which is supposed to be creamy.
