If you get there from Idaho, it's more scenic. Jarbidge is probably the most out of the way place I've ever been to. Slightly more out of the way than Atlanta, ID. I need to go back to Jarbidge again.
You could have mentioned Murphy's Hot Springs on the same road. We have been in Jargidge in 1986 & about 91. We came in from Wild Horse Reservoir & via Idaho. On our 1st trip we brought 3 horses & spent a great 3 days. The 2nd trip we spent a long night in the 2nd bar, dont recall the name, but a guy named Frenchie invited our 7 person party to check out "his" bar. I dont recall much except the cash on the ceiling, trying to put our cards up there, & way too much Everclear. Took 2 daze to recover. I am afraid, like so many places, such as Tuscarora, that the beautiful/enlightened people have found the place. Hope I am wrong as generally them folks dont like 8 month winters. The Starbucks is out of reach.
Yes, thanks a lot to this news agency.. I’m saying that sarcastically. I personally don’t think I’d like it there but you know there will be a lot of people ruining the place now.
Great story. More Max Tracks please.
Any day in Idaho is like being in heaven.
It's in Nevada.

More visitors equals more income for the town.
Like he said, most will panic and think they’re lost and turn around.
Well most likely they are saving millions not paving that section of road
