Putting the bike on the centre stand.... Hold the bike upright, steering straight, lower the centre stand with your right foot, rest both the feet of the stand on the ground (you should be able to notice when this happens without having to look). Hold the steering with your left hand and the pillion handle with your right hand. Use your right foot to put your full body weight on the centre stand and at the same time pull up with you right hand (on the pillion handle).

So cool to see another young guy on an NC! Usually, people online who own an NC are 40 plus years old. Enjoy it! It's my second year riding mine and it doesn't get old and is really a brilliant all-round bike.
I always liked the looks of this bike. I've always been more drawn to naked and sports bikes for fun and looks. But the nc700x is so practical. My fz07 looks like trash with any wind protection, were this looks nice.
I like the site, lots of good reviews, but kinda disappointed in this video. I watched it to learn something about this bike, and I didn't learn anything. Heated grips? Racks? Frunk? Center stand? What about how it rides, specs, how it compares etc.?
Hello, the best bike ever. I have one , a 2012 nc700x. To easily lift the bike on the center stand: bring the stand into contact with the ground, with the right foot press with all your weight on the stand "getting up", maintain the balance, "lift" the bike with the right hand. The bike is thus standed easily effortlessly. Meilleurs voeux pour 2022 de la France.
I like our bikes and you're gonna love yours but those racks... They're fugly. Don't get rid of them if you like them, practical is good and someone did a good job on the square tubing but they have this 50s military look that kinda clashes. But, they might make up for it in functionality.
I have a NC750S, called Rihanna, my first bike, now the 4th year. Sometimes I wish more power, but on the other side, even these 54HP are more then enough to loose license :D. For the curvy roads I prefer to ride, it provides a lot of fun. After testriding other bikes - they could supplement my NC but not replace it. Switched once with my riding buddy and his MT-07. While I loved the engine of the MT, he wished his MT would have the handling, suspension, comfort and ergonomics of the NC :D and of course the storage compartment - ideal for one day trips.
Congrats on the bike! Looks like you and your girlfriend can have great adventures on that bike, maybe even some moto camping LOL! A center stand is so nice to have. I love the storage box, man you can fit a lot in there lol! I am bad at picking names, I find that once you start riding it, the bike ends up naming itself as you learn it lol! Best of luck with the new bike!
Nice buy. Mid-range adventure are fun. Even if you stay mostly street/dirt roads. It's nice to just throttle on and not worry about if you are gonna slide wide off a turn and over the mountain.
I ride a Suzuki M50/M800 and im looking for a more all round bike. Something easy for comutes but still fun and good with twisty roads and highways. Could this be a good choice? Im scared the power is just a bit to slow. Anybody who has owned this who can help me out?
It is low on power for sure but I’m loving the ride and functionality. It will do 100 or so but that’s about it. Also, it is actually very nimble and easy to ride in corners as well.
I have the same bike. I smile every I ride it. It’s so polished. I have other bikes but this one handles the best. I had to swap the seat though. I also added Racetech fork valves and swapped the shock out for a Hagon.
Atlas throttle lock has been amazing for me, definitely check them out, but ya i can totally relate on having cruise lol. Oh ya for 1000$ there’s a company called mccruise i think and they have a legit cruise control system. But not for every bike.
When you revealed it, at first I thot it was automatic, but then I rewatched the beginning and saw you working the clutch. Am I thinking of another model--? Anyway, looks good and it should have enough power to get you around fine.
If you had parked your truck at the base of the hill behind you then you would not have had to wheel the bike up the ramps. The ramps might have been level with the bed of the truck. Helpful hint...
I've got a video up with a muffler delete on mine. However I don't recommend because it made the transmission/clutch get to hot and it started to slip out of first. It opened it up too much.
What model of Honda is that? Sorry if you mentioned it, I didn't catch it if you did. Looks like you matured beyond your age getting and old mans bike like that. Cops should definitely leave you alone on that thing.
I have a 2020 NC750X. It’s a fantastic commuter. Sips the fuel. Underpowered, yeah but not horribly. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for comfort...and the frunk is awesome!
Seeing ur mom trying to help you melted my heart haha Definitely work on your center stand technique..no straining needed just skill Get yourself some sw motech touring racks those hand made ones are hideous
Ya she's a very sweet lady. I think i am figuring out the center stand more and more each time. I kinda like the racks and they definitely look better with the bags on them as well. They were free with the bike so I can't complain too much.
I agree. Still faster than most cars, will go up any hill, cruise as fast as you want and carry as much as you want. Very linear power band and torquey. Totally makes up for the slightly lower power with better fuel consumption.
I dont think its underpowered at all. I mean.. it all depends on your idea of what is underpowered and what u use the motorcycle for. If u intend to ride 2 up often, with alot of luggage and u want to do highways mainly.. then yes, u will find the power lacking. If u ride solo or two up and dont pack too heavily and mainly avoid highways this motorcycle is more than capable.
Ya that’s pretty much what i expected. I’m not looking for a powerhouse of a bike, just something fun that my girlfriend and I can go on trips and pack enough for the day. I think it will be perfect for that
