What was the name of the artwork depicting satan tempting the Savior? What is the artist’s name?

Is there anywhere on UA-cam to listen to this? Or is there somewhere I can buy it?

I know the allegorical musical is called "The Garden", and I know Jesus suffered such pain that he sweat blood from every pore in the garden of Gethsemane, but come on. Not a single picture of Jesus suffering on the cross?! You do know he was tormented there, too, right? You do know he was drenched in his own blood and made a complete mockery of while he hung there as the Passover Lamb, slain for our iniquities.
You do realize that the custom among the Jews was to skewer Passover lambs by means of two wooden sticks in the arrangement of a cross, don't you? One couldn't ask for more symbolism of the great and final sacrifice Jesus performed. This song is about Jesus suffering grief and pain to free us, and the slide show presented here makes it look as though it was all downhill for Jesus after his suffering in the garden. It wasn't. The garden was extreme, and it was beyond what any man could endure. But it was just the beginning of his sufferings on that fateful Passover in the meridian of time.
I appreciate the music and pics, but would have liked to have at least seen one painting of Jesus on the cross.

The entire song is based off of the scene in the garden. If it was about the entire journey then it would be more reasonable to add in the pictures of the cross. I do agree that paintings of him on the cross could have been a nice touch. However, since this song was written for a play and was used only in the scene where Jesus was in the garden, it is fitting to use pictures that mirror the actual scenes in the play that this song was created for. It is unnecessary and uncalled for to criticize someone over it. However, I'm sure it is just a misunderstanding of the purpose of this song, it's role in the play, and the authors intentions behind it. I'm sure that the person that posted this video meant absolutely no offense, and I am grateful that they made it available.

There is no biblical reference for Jesus actually sweating immense amounts of blood, which is where the bad and false Mormon theology of the sacrifice for sin comes from... Mormons believe that Christ paid for sin at the Garden, not the cross, and hence their misunderstanding of the true meaning of the cross.

+Alex Baker Mormonism avoids the cross as any part of its theological iconography. It is also an important part of the story that is often conveniently skipped past.

praestant8 If my only brother was shot and killed by a revolver, I would not wear a revolver-shaped pendant around my neck. But maybe that's just me. I appreciate that the sign of the cross is a traditional symbol of Christian faith, but I do not condemn other Christians for neglecting to always display the ichthys, the rooster or the lamb, which are also major early Christian symbols. Latter-day Saints focus on the risen, Living Christ. This is why you see the Christus at our Visitors Centers. This is why the House of God (the living God), the temple, is THE representative symbol of our faith in iconography. Why? Because we carry on the same saving and redeeming work of Christ in those sacred places, as under shepherds to our Shepherd; gathering His sheep. The other LDS symbol is of the angel sounding the trump, as written of in Bible prophecy - the last call to the world to prepare before the return of Christ and the dawning of the Millenial Day. In both of these things it is as if we assert: He suffered and died for us and arose victorious: so now, what are the rest of us going to DO with that gift?! Passively mourn and beat ourselves up that it ever had to happen? Or rejoice that He loved us that much; rejoice that He lives again, rejoice that He has made us free forever; and joyfully, actively live our lives out as gifts of discipleship back to Him? While the symbol of the cross may not be concentrated upon iconographically, the sacrifice of Christ - his suffering and death - is remembered in our weekly ordinance of partaking of the sacrament. It is also specifically mentioned and remembered in our temple ordinances. I answered this comment as an unabashed apologist. If you, dear reader, want to know what Latter-day Saints believe, then ask a Latter-day Saint. I do the same when I am curious about what my friends - my Catholic, Protestant Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, etc friends - believe. Be smart enough to obtain information from the source, and avoid poisoned wells. If you seek poisoned waters, then by all means, look anywhere and everywhere else. I bear witness that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he fulfilled the saving mission He was sent here to do. I love Him.
