Excellent attention to detail…”Before cinching the knot make sure that the split ring is flat against the hook and that the split of the split ring is away from the line side.” Very important Detail. Thank you.
This is a type of 'release rig'. It works well due to its 'anti-eject' properties. On a normal bait with the hooks attached to the soft plastic or hard bait when the fish feels that its not 'food' the fish will try to eject or spit the bait out. Thus the bait acts as leverage to pull the hooks free during the normal head shaking the fish use to get rid of lures. With release and line-through rigs to bait and hooks 'separate' and the fish loses it ability to use the whole lure as leverage to eject the hooks.
This has served we well for the past two years
Totally awesome thanks 🎉

I bought a bunch of those line through heads last winter and forgot all about them! I’m going to have to get those out and give them a go!
Very good idea

What circumstances is a jig head better? If it’s a more snaggy area?
Thoughts on a bobber stop in between the line thru head and treble?
I use a bobber stop without the split ring. Technically that way if get a snag u could save the head and just lose the hook if you break off.
Would you go dropshot or Ned if you could only have one?
I got the 6th sense treble heads and they are awesome!
Oh and they have an underspin version of this also!
How does the scorpion dc compare to the corrado dc ?
what size split ring are you using
Size 1!
I bet if you put two more screens on your boat, you'd catch 10x more fish.
Ugh don't change single to trebel, change trebel to single
And ALWAYS pinch or file off your barbs
