Well that's what works for him. Persons with medium type hair or coily coarse hair cut with a 2 guard and be cool with that and say it's a low cut. Only when your waves are well trained with kinky coarse hair you can cut with a 2 and be ok. I have coarse hair with two sub-types, kinky and coily. Over wolfing used to be a problem for me. Both types moisturize differently, require different cut length etc. Though that's the case everyone has to find what's best works for them.

You can get them from 216 wavy merch.com or you can do wavy department.com or love silk.com and these are good websites but for a cheaper option definitely go with wavy department and you should shampoo probably like twice a week

Oils can moisturize and seal because not all oils are the same because there's moisturizing AK penetrating and there is sealant oils
