After transit blue was released they began to expand their music to different vibes and experimented with sounds... then ZII The act color decay was born... if you take your time and listen to all the albums you can see how much they've grown... I've been a huge fan since plagues and they've come along way
Love this album! I pretty much quit listening to them after the Death Throne album and zombie EP I like to think this album appeals to Old School listeners. It's like they're saying hey all of us grew up together and here's what we are doing now, and it fucking works for me personally
Mike is still the main vocalist, but Jeremy I think has been doing more vocals in their latest stuff and he has been doing fantastic, new TDWP album also just dropped and it’s a huge fucking banger
@@AnnaDinkov omg me too I cannot capture into words how much this album means to me, the pure emotion that has been put into these 12 tracks is purely unbelievable, such an amazing album and definitely one of my favorite albums of the year if not my favorite
Jeremy actually stepped back from writing for this album and the last one. It’s mainly Mike and the Keyboardist John Gering who writes most of the songs. I’m sure Jeremy contributed still but this song specifically was written by John and his experience with drinking and how it scared him. You should check out their footnotes for this album it’s really enlightening to their process now , anyways good reaction though 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I read the footnotes later on, I read about the partying and drinking and broken bottles that led John to write this song, I had no idea he was so involved with the writing!! Thanks for watching my vid!
Color Decay, Wonderful álbum! The Devil Wears Prada the band has reached a very high level of maturity in its composition lines. Mike is singulto too much! Broken and time! What songs!
As a huge Prada fan, I also wasn’t a fan of Transit Blues. The Act & now Color Decay are my two favorite albums from them, and I’m an OG fan from the very beginning of their career!! Highly suggest looking at their latest two albums - The Thread might be my all time favorite song from them.
Color Decay has become my fav release of the year but I’m definitely gonna give the stuff after transit blues a go and see how I feel about them! But nothing beats the feeling of hearing them for the first time back in the MySpace days haha
Mike actually writes a majority of the lyrics, tho I'm sure Jeremy helps. They are also the only original members of the band. Other songs are great too tho not necessarily heavier just a different direction.
The new album is fantastic, very experimental. Fire and Hallucinate are my favs at the moment.
Twenty five is my current favorite one I think and I never pick a sad song as a favorite but this one just hits so different! I love this album!
Trapped is the stinger for me but hands down this whole album touches a chord in my soul

ZII also. That was a follow up to the zombie ep. It was just as good as the first one if not better 👍

Transit Blues was okay (To the Key of Evergreen was amazing tho) but The Act from 2019 was incredible. As were the ZII and Space EP’s.

I also saw that their keyboardist wrote a lot of it as well, I’m very impressed I love the direction they went in!
