This makes me so happy! I’m glad you like it ❤️. I have lost a lot of hair due to postpartum and having Covid twice or 3 times and have been waiting a while for my hair to grow back before doing another video. But I was thinking I should still do one and I could help people who are also experiencing hair loss from Covid
@@AriellesChannel I am so sorry that you have to deal with this! Until now I did not even know that covid can actually cause loss of hair too… I can only encourage you to upload another video and making people aware of how serious covid is and which negative side affects it can have in your body and soul. This will also be very helpful to people who are going through the same. Maybe you have developed some tricks on how to cover up some unloved parts and style your hair nevertheless beautifully to gain back self-confidence :)
@@AriellesChannel I didn't know Covid could cause hair loss! But now that I think about it I had Covid last year and my hair started falling more than usual and I lost a lot of density. I never drew the connection and just searched for ways to get my hair to go back to normal. I started using a rosemary tea rinse once a week and within 6 months my hair was back to normal. I guess Covid must have been the cause of the hair loss, as I had not changed anything in my routine. But you may want to try rosemary to help with regrowth if you're still battling this issue. I actually still use it once or twice a month just because it makes my hair really soft and shiny and I feel it helps my hair grow faster.
I like that these all are a bit messy while still not being damaging to hair. My hair is shorter so I do a half knot then wrap the rest of the length to make a bun. It's still messy anfd gives the "messy bun" feel while not being damaging.
I've been using hair sticks all my life. Thanks for the new ideas. Due to migraines I cut my hair shorter a couple of years ago, just getting long enough to use my sticks.
Thanks for actual content without a lot of filler(noise that doesn't teach). Thanks for putting your hair in your mouth. It's real, and what we do. I don't like spending my time on glitter & fluff videos that are painfully long, and don't teach anything of use.
Tips: if you have fine hair like Asian hair, don't use conditioner if u want to use hair sticks, otherwise your hair is so silky they will just slide off 🤣
Thanks for the tip! My hair stick just slides out unless it's a Nautilus knot, and I was bummed at the idea of not being able to do any of the more interesting styles.
Another goof tip is to get sticks that have some bumps/grooves or are wavy instead of just straight. Those tend to have better grip for fine/straight hair. Just better grip for any kind, really. I have one with waves a.d it holds better than the one I have that's stick straight.
I've been using these since high school. Just bought a beautiful set of 18 vintage ones off of Amazon. Pretty brass coloured. Thank you for some new ideas!
Yay! I’m so glad you like it!! Yesterday I went out for a dinner and then to play outside. I had left the house with curly hair for my dinner dressed in a fancy outfit and then when we went to go play outside in the heat I threw my hair up in one of the sticks and it still looked really cute
Dear Arielle, thank you so much for this video! I have been looking for messy hair stick versions for like ages and I am so happy that I finally found one! Just love your looks! 😍
I love all of these! But how do you loosen little pieces of hair without the whole thing coming loose and eventually falling down? That's what happens to me when I use hair sticks.
I am happy to have found your Chanel. I have had several hairsticks in my drawer for many years but have never used them. I usually braid my long hair using a variety of techniques. I'll try the sticks out tomorrow. I like your style which is similar to mine. Looking forward to more hair tutorials. Warm greetings from Germany🤗

@@AriellesChannel I tried my hairsticks today and was amazed at how comfortable it is to wear. It's lightning fast and the topknot doesn't hurt so much at the back of the head. Thank you😊
@@AriellesChannel I often wear hair taping, which is very comfortable and chic. Check out Morgan Donnar's tutorial on this. This technique would be something for your Chanel
I would (twist) it (tight) and try to grab as much (hair) as you can than glide the stick against your head for resistance and it should hold! hope that helps!
My hair is long but not super long and I screwed it up with layers. They mess up all updos. I saw a tutorial on amazon and the lady had long shoulder length hair but had very few long layers. Grrrrrr
Ewww you put your hair in your mouth! Lolol Im so just joking I do it all the time, it is your hair after all... now I wouldnt be putting anyone elses hair in my mouth js.... great job btw
