[about me]
Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything)
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

Sorry, but I would disagree) I'm a knitter too) With 30 years experience. The sweater is absolutely lovely but it is not hand-made for exact same reason - the rows. That place where they mismatch a little is a seam. Which shouldn't be there. The sweater is called lopopeisa. It's a traditional sweater from Iceland and the top bit with the ornament is knitted as one peace - no seams. There's a certain way to knit it and you would need wired knitting needles for that. Seams world only be there if it's been made at the factory because they make parts then put them together. It's beautiful and looks great on you, Rosie. That's the main thing 😊

A lot of handmade knits get donated actually - when you really like the process of knitting more than you need the finished object you end up with a LOT of sweaters and nowhere to store them. That looks like a hand knit to me! This made me want to get rabbits

I rarely say this to anyone, but you're so sweet. I'm a 47 year old woman with 2 teenagers and a 21 year old. I find Italians so interesting, and the history and the land has always captivated me.
