    Hi Robert,
    Nice video mate 👍🏻
By any chance do you know if the interior heat sensor is accessible without taking all the panels off?

Hey, I'm unsure, mate. I'm almost certain that all sensors are accessible without removing the full dash. Once the glove box is removed, there's plenty of access. The dash is easy to remove, I found the heater unit the most difficult part to remove. I know this doesn't help, but I wish you the best of luck with the repair

Hi Robert, great technical insight throughout the whole video.
Just to reiterate what another person commented.. do you think a problem like the heater core can prevent heat but only on one side of the interior? Or do you think that would be a diversion issue like a blend flap actuator?

Hey, it's definitely a sign of it partially blocked heater core, however it depends on the climate control you have fitted. If it's sided, first thing is to check the stepper motors to see if they work correctly before disassembling the entire dash to change the heater core.

Had the same problem with my f30. I flushed the heater core using a flush gun. All is well now.

Interesting fact, I wonder how long it will last as I've tried that in the past and within a year it clogged again.

Was your car also losing coolant mate? I got a 435i looses he same amount of coolant every 3/4 month and no heat

No, it wasn't. Get a pressure test carried out as every 3 to 4 months it's a huge leak. I'm assuming you have a B58 engine that suffers from leaking thermostat housing or actual radiators.

Nice work. Did this car have zero heating or just no heating on one side? Driver/right side? Having problems with my own, what county are you in?

Had absolutely no heating at all, coolant couldn't circulate through the blocked core

Think the complete job on this was €700

Me too mate, seems to be a common issue! My drivers side (right side) is cool, passenger side heats fine. F20 M135i. I’m seeing lots of different suggestions without anyone posting an answer unfortunately

Hey, sorry for the late reply. It all depends on the labour rate in your area. As far as I can remember, it cost €600 for this, including parts
