Martial arts masters time-travel to modern era, battle against gangs, lost kung fu resurges

Young cartoonist Fei Yingxiong is suppressed by his boss, Zhang Peng, and feels frustrated with his lack of success. Meanwhile, both he and Zhang Peng secretly love their coworker, Bao'er. By a stroke of luck, the four martial arts masters from Fei Yingxiong's ongoing comic series, "Kung Fu Alliance" - Master Huang, Hero Huo, Chen Azhen, and a mysterious character named Ye - are summoned by Fei Yingxiong and transported through time to the modern era. After facing numerous hardships and life-threatening battles, the masters ultimately help Fei Yingxiong achieve his dream, and they all return to their respective eras.
